California Pizza Kitchen at Beverly Hills
207 S Beverly Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90212, United States
A great all time favorite place to eat. More than just pizza ?. The salads are great as are the soups. I tried the barley soup ? and it was delicious. Great place for the entire family, however, it can get a bit loud inside the main restaurant. I prefer the outdoors eating instead. Try the pizza salad (secret menu). You cannot go wrong.

The restaurant has two entrances for parties of different sizes. The recommendation to me was their signature dish: the roast duck. The presentation was immaculate and the skin was crispy while the meat was flavorful. The wraps were steamed just right. Ample amount of condiments ensure that each wrap has a balance of duck and veggies. For a restaurant as focused on presentation, the soup was in a plain bowl and the contents seem to be just scooped out from a big pot.Regardless, this place is worth a try. I didnt try the dim sum but they seem to be on the higher end of prices.
Beverly Bar
434 N Camden Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States
Lets openly start off this review with the acknowledgement that Beverly Bar was clearly intended to be a copy of South Beverly Grill (SBG). SBG is a fantastic restaurant and would be an ideal restaurant to idolize. Beverly Bar accurately captures the butcher block tables, the dim lighting, the menu font, and even the water glasses, however beyond this is where things begin to fall apart. To start, the restaurant has the acoustics which could only be compared to that of a rock band playing inside of a shower. You struggle to hear the company sitting across from the table from you. You struggle to understand the waiter. You struggle to even make out what blur of a sound is coming out of the speakers. All you hear is a jambalaya of voices, clanking, echoing, and buffeting which provokes a poor dining experience.Even the layout of the restaurant itself is not conducive to the private atmosphere SBG is able to provide. At SBG, each table feels like its own cocoon spread across the hull of a ship. At Beverly Bar, your table is just a bumpstop in a pinball machine as patrons, waiters, and busboys bounce around the non-existent walkways behind you.The food. The steak frite seemed to have an identify crisis. It was served over a bed of fries in a soup bowl. What is the issue with serving in a soup bowl? There is no room to cut. Try cutting your steak and put too much pressure on the side wall of the bowl....and plop...your bowl is a flying saucer. The salmon also was served on a oblong shaped vessel that left no room to cut the fish as well. Interestingly, both dishes featured the same key flavor....salty.It is a shame this new Beverly Hills restaurant fails to exceed the achievements of those restaurants that came before it. Beverly Hills would gladly invite the opportunity for new eateries. It is clear significant effort was put into the mimicry of SBG but without further changes Beverly Bar will fall nowhere near.

Blasteran
272 S La Cienega Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90211, United States
A cute fusion, farm to table restaurant in Beverly Hills. We parked on the street right in front of the restaurant. We came during off-lunch hours on a Tuesday afternoon so there was no wait. The interior was nice and spacious but it was fairly empty during our time there. I can see it being a bit cramped and chaotic if it were to be packed but that might be a vibe too. They had a few tables outside in their porch area.Service is exceptional. Attentive and very kind. Loved the vibe the servers created. They had fun conversations amongst each other and that was really cool to hear/see. Seemed like a fun & chill place to work.Food- 2 Korean galbi tacos with tortilla soup. The tacos were stuffed with meat and veggies. Loved the chipotle crema. It was a yummy burst of flavors. Tortilla soup was a good combination with the tacos. Easy to eat. Good flavors and seasoning!-Garlic noodles with scallops. I was very impressed with the noodles! They were good on their own. The perfect amount of garlic. So many places go over or under with the garlic but these noodles were garlic perfection. The scallops were juicy and elevated the dish.-Parmesan fries. These were sooooo crispy! I love when the outside is crisp and the inside is soft and thick. We will definitely come back to try the burgers and truffle fries *drool*. Another customer had ordered the Blasteran burger and it got everyones attention.
Caffe Dellarte

My daughter went to grab a smoothie, a sandwich and a soup. We were extremely disappointed in the quality of the food and the taste. My daughter asked for a refund and was told “no we don't do that.” He also said in a condescending tone that everything is written out so it's her fault. That's customer service? She didn't get something from the mystery selection. She got things that were safe to order like a strawberry and banana smoothie, vegetarian sandwich and a chicken tortilla soup. It wasn't her choices, it's the way way these foods were executed. I can't believe how rude he was! We definitely won't be eating here again!!! After reading our review I hope you won't either!!!!
1-2-3 pasta

My family and I were checking out the local museums and wanted some Italian food. This place was only 5 minutes away and theres plenty of street parking so we tried it out. The food was EXCELLENT! The whole idea that works so well for burrito and sandwich places is perfect for pasta too. Everyone gets exactly what they want and the owner makes it himself quickly on the spot. The portion size is well worth the price. Also he gives out punch cards for future discounts. We dined in and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Lots of great pictures of Italy to look at, soft music, nice temperature and lighting. The owner used to own a French bakery so Im really excited to try his desserts, but none of us had any room left to try them. Well be returning for sure!
Gourmando

It is a nice quaint place to dine for lunch. For $20 plus tax it is a good valued restaurant at Beverly Hills area.It was very disappointing that the service was extremely nice and friendly, but the food was just too salty! I was hungry, I ate the soup, the salad was very good, but the beef tacos were really, really salty! Too bad that they don’t take the time to taste their foods. Nice service, but you may want them to cut back on salt when you order your food.

Had big expectations due to price tag, but was let down. When we made a reservation, I let the person on the line know that we were celebrating a birthday and any acknowledgment (a card, anything) would be great. We arrived to the room and there was nothing. It was a small gesture that im sure my partner expected, and we were all let down. During reservation, they asked for my kids ages, which I provided. I thought they might have arrival gifts (typical of a hotel of this caliber) but no, no arrival gifts. We got to the room and I thought they might have robes for the kids - no again. We got the room through Amex, so a room upgrade is part of the deal. Never got the upgrade. When I called to ask about it, they said they dont have double beds in the upgraded rooms. Seems like something they should have mentioned at check in - I see you booked with Amex. Would you like the upgrade with the King bed or to stay in the standard room with the double beds? Pretty standard stuff that didnt happen. We ordered breakfast through room service. Everything from the kids menu was super low quality. The pancakes were so awful (dry, crumbling) both kids tried a bite and refused to eat them. The waffles were plasticky. The eggs were like the kind you get at the motel 8 continental breakfast. We tried to book a table for lunch by the pool, but they were all booked up and told my husband no, sorry. I came up soon after to ask the same, and they said they are required to accommodate guests that are staying with them so to come back when were ready to eat and theyll try to squeeze us in. Called concierge at 3:30pm to reserve dinner for 6:00pm at Petit Belvedere. They said sorry, were fully committed. We came over to concierge at 6pm to see if maybe a table opened up and they took us right in. At dinner, my daughter asked if they have ice cream toppings, waiter said yes to her request. 20 minutes later the ice cream comes out with no toppings, brought by kitchen staff. 10 minutes later, waiter checks on us and realizes my daughter didnt get any toppings. He seems genuinely upset and runs to the kitchen to resolve. 10 more minutes later, they bring out some different topping (not what my daughter requested) - and of course, shes finished eating her ice cream by then. A simple we dont offer ice cream toppings would have been completely fine, the circus at a high end restaurant, however, is not. No intention to come back.
