Panera Bread
2130 E El Segundo Blvd, El Segundo, CA 90245, United States
I revised my review. Panera Bread Corporate contracted me immediately after reading my review. I feel better and they gave me a gift card for expressing my concerns.I am writing to express my with the experience I had at this location today. I arrived at approximately 5:22 p.m. and ordered a cinnamon crunch bagel, lightly warmed. Despite being the second person in line, I waited for 15 minutes without receiving my bagel. During this time, I observed several drive-through and large-order customers being served while my simple request remained unfulfilled.I suggest reassessing the counter setup to ensure bagels are readily available to counter staff. Additionally, I recommend prioritizing in-store customers to avoid lengthy wait times for simple orders. While I appreciate the friendly staff and clean environment, the inefficient service left me feeling overlooked and ultimately led me to leave without my bagel. I didnt request a refund.I primarily visit Panera Bread for bagels and fear a repeat of this experience. I hope you will consider my feedback and make the necessary changes to improve your service.
Blimpie
130 E Grand Ave Ste E, El Segundo, CA 90245, United States
Loved it, its a cold stone and blimpie co brand store! Its way better than subway and Jimmy Johns. Got the grilled chicken sub and it was amazing. And the sugar cookies were soft and good. Its a shame I had to drive from Victorville all the way to the beach to get it but it was totally worth it. Our blimpie here in Victorville closed years ago. Please come back to the high desert or at least rancho Cucamonga. Also this is the last blimpie subs left in southern California

Blossom Ramen
130 E Grand Ave ste d, El Segundo, CA 90245, United States
Ah, dear readers, join me on a culinary journey as I recount the exquisite experience of savoring a delightful bowl of Blossom Tonkatsu Ramen, accompanied by a refreshing seaweed salad and a savory matcha milk tea.Imagine, if you will, a delicate symphony of flavors that begins with the first sip of the rich, velvety broth. The Blossom Tonkatsu Ramen presents itself as a masterpiece of culinary art, its base a deeply satisfying pork broth, simmered to perfection, carrying whispers of umami that dance upon the palate. Nestled within this luxurious liquid are tender, succulent slices of pork, their richness tempered by the subtle crunch of perfectly cooked noodles. But the journey does not end there. Complementing this robust centerpiece is a seaweed salad, a verdant array of marine greens that provide a refreshing counterpoint to the ramen's depth. Each bite is a burst of oceanic freshness, with a hint of sesame that lingers pleasantly, evoking the gentle sway of seaweed in the coastal tides. And to complete this harmonious trio, a savory matcha milk tea stands as the final note in this culinary overture. The matcha's earthy bitterness melds seamlessly with the creamy milk, creating a beverage that is both soothing and invigorating. It is a perfect companion to the rich tones of the ramen and the crisp notes of the seaweed salad. In this trifecta of taste, we find a microcosm of culinary excellence, a testament to the delicate balance of flavors that nature, and a skilled chef, can provide. Truly, an experience to be savored and remembered.

Very, very, very disappointed to say the least.I had such a bad experience that I want people to know:I am a local resident and have been living in El Segundo for many years even if I still have an accent since I was born abroad; in this particular venue was my first time.I dont know if it was intentional or not, but the waitress overcharged us on the bill and the tip as well; we were a party of 4 people and at the very end a friend joined us bringing the total to 5; the waitress, after receiving a partial payment and a tip as well from one person of the party that was leaving early, gave us a bill with a “mandatory 20% tip”(Menu states a service charge of 18% on parties over 6). When questioned, the waitress herself said that the gratuity was mandatory. She and the owner became hostile and aggressive when we asked them to fix the bill (we were less than 6 anyway for the mandatory gratuity, and a partial tip was already given), otherwise we would have to call the police. They fixed the bill, but in a very hostile and angry way such that it almost generated a brawl there because some other local (friends) customers were starting to call the women at our table names. They were rude and unkind and no apologies were given, even after recognizing their mistake. If you add an illegal gratuity to a party of 4 for overpriced beers (they charged $ 27 + tax for each pitcher of local beer) and then only TAKE CASH demonstrates what a crummy place it is.I am never ever going to this place again and will repeat this story to all of my friends so others will know – stay away!
Thailandia Cuisine

I will start by saying that I usually avoid Thai food as it is usually way too much heat for me. My wife and I were looking at the menu posted outside the door and were about to walk away when their manager came out and asked if we had any questions he could answer. When i asked how spicy the fish was, he assured me it was not spicy. I was skeptical, but we decided to give it a try and was very impressed how clean and organized everything looked when we entered. The food was amazing. We shared a coconut shimp appetizer. My wife had Pad Thai, and I had the grilled salmon with mango salad. Everything had been so good that when the hostess recommended the sweet sticky rice with mango, I ordered one to share even though we were already overfilled. Everything was very flavourful. If I lived nearby, it would be a regular stop. The hostess, Honey, was excellent and made a great meal even better with her fantastic freindly service. Honey went above and beyond any expectations as after we left and were a block away, we heard someone call out to us and came running up to us. My wife said, What did you forget? but Honey decided we just had to try their Thai iced tea and had run with one in her hand. That is the customer service that is extremely rare these days. Honey, you are awesome. The Jasmin Thai Iced tea was very good. We recommend you give Thailandia Cuisine a try.

Ordered the meat lovers. It was loaded with meat! That's wonderful if the meat was actually good. The sausage on the pizza tasted like it had been held under the fire of a thousand suns. Have you ever had a water balloon fight? Imagine a water balloon filled with the top layer grease from a settled bowl of chili. Now imagine that water balloon bursting open over a freshly cooked pizza... That's what my pizza looked like... Alas, I ate the bloody thing. And I kinda enjoyed it. The crust had great texture and descent flavor. Leads me to believe that another pizza choice would have been better. I am now ordering degreaser on Amazon to clean my desk because the pizza box is a grease sponge.
EL Cielo Restaurant

I found this place while looking for restaurants on Google. I tried the albondigas soup. For my taste the meatballs had a little too much mint. But the broth was delicious. I will be coming again to try the menudo.

We went here for dinner as it was the closest place to us, and we wanted to try.Upon entering we were greeted and seated in a very friendly manner. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, incredibly authentic. We ordered the Japanese Potato Curry, Chirashi Bowl, Yellowtail Maki, and a Bento Box. Along with green tea.It took a bit to get our food, but it was worth it.All were delicious and incredibly flavorful. The sushi was fresh and wonderfully prepared. The decorstion was lovely as well. The curry was perfectly flavored, but not too much. The tempura was amazing and not too fried. All rolls were delicious. We truly enjoyed our time here and couldnt reccomend it more. The entire experience was amazing!

Wendys Place

A very good local South Bay country diner that is cash only. All diners to me are either the traditional retro diner or a country diner and this definitely counts as a country diner to me. It's fairly small on the inside so at busy times there may be a wait. Being a country diner their menu is more limited compared to some other diners but they have a lot of homey classics. Our server was very polite and everything we ordered came out pretty quickly. They don't have a dedicated parking lot but it's easy to find street parking or there is a parking structure on the same block with free parking, which is where we parked.Their coffee is very good and strong so I would recommend ordering that, I chose to start my meal with it. For our dishes, we ordered the Eggs Benedict and substituted a sausage patty instead of ham and the Pancake Special. The Eggs Benedict was actually very good and the sausage was a great addition. The eggs were cooked perfectly and overall it was a very good dish. The pancakes were also very nice and fluffy, and the bacon was perfectly crispy.Overall, I really enjoyed my meal even though I tend to avoid cash only places. Aside from that everything else was great and the pricing is fair so I would recommend it to anyone searching for a great breakfast or lunch option.
