Thai Food To Go
3417 Torrance Blvd #5801, Torrance, CA 90503, United States
There are many reasons not to go here, ahhh..let me count the ways. If you are not into reading long reviews, I will state a few in the first paragraph. As others have stated on here, the quality and portions of food has gone down, I ordered spare ribs, not only was it oversalted but I only received THREE pieces for eight dollars, (get a lot more in the overpriced PF Changs) with a lot of raw salad that I did not order but thats how they padded the meal to make it look like more, all the other orders that had meat gave you very little meat but the worse part is the horrid way they treat the customer. If you do not want to read why others have given it one star, let me tell you. One person returned his order as they put beef instead of chicken, instead of redoing the order, he watched with disgust, them using their fingers to pick out the meat to replace them, another guy picking up his order saw the owner, manager?? just add a $2 tip without asking his permission, in my case, they just plain cheated me (be careful they may substitute a cheaper item than what the menu says you should get, and others mention that they charge you more than the menu price, so double check your receipt.) Many people have complained of how the woman who I assume the manager or the owner treats people, instead of trying or rectify the problem to retain customers, she acts in such a rude matter to drive you away. There are many Thai places in Torrance who appreciate your business, go there, but if you for some strange reason you do want to use them and order delivery, do NOT order directly from them, order from doordash, grubhub, a third party, so if they omit an item or mess up, the third party will make it up, but as I said a business that treats people like this, should NOT be in business. Below is how she cheated me.They started a new program I guess with the credit reader square that rewards their customers loyalty with emails with little bonuses. Having been a loyal customer for many years, I got 2, one for a free iced tea (which they always give out when you order at least $15) and one for $5 off, I wanted to use the $5 off coupon and get the free iced tea the first time, but she said you do not get that because of the coupon, so I said fine, give me the iced tea and I will save the coupon.I ordered two days later and used the coupon, in my order I got a combo dinner where a chicken satay is supposed to be in it. When I received the order I knew something was missing but forgot what, wondered if they changed that combo but later on, on the receipt I saw that a roll was supposed included. When I called to tell them that they forgot to include the roll (and I was just going to tell them to take a couple of dollars off the next time, as I did not want the driver to come out again for one item) the woman that I was referred to,(manager/owner?) refused, saying that because I used the coupon I could not get it, she said like the iced tea. I told her that the ice tea is a separate item but the roll is supposed to be IN the combo meal, than she lied and said she told me that when I ordered. Other than answering the phone, she did not talk to me, in fact when I mentioned the coupon she transferred me to someone else. The cost of the roll is not that much, but first it angers me not only did they substitute a cheaper item but they would not even give me that and then lied about it! I have spent at least $5-600 a year here as I do not have a car and they deliver, and I said to her, I order from here a lot, do you want to lose me over a roll (which again, on the menu, says it is in the combo meal, and was cheaper than what I was supposed to get and remember this is NOT a separate item,) she just hung up on me.I will charge it back on my credit card and she will spend more time dealing with the credit card than the roll is worth. It seems like that they regret doing this $5 off thing, so they punish people for using it. If they do not want to do that, they should not offer this promotion.

So glad I finally found a great hainese chicken place near my area! The best part is that it is also a thai chinese hainese chicken place, and it honestly makes me so happy since I grew up eating chicken over rice thai style most of my life. Their menu is limited but honestly it helps when youre not the best at narrowing down your options. I decided to get the fried chicken plate along with the free herbal chicken soup for checking in #protip. I have to say I enjoyed every bite from the soothing soup to the garlicky rice to the moist tender chicken to the flavorful sauces! They have amazing variety in their sauces but my favorite was definitely the classic thai hainese sauce. There wasnt anything that I didnt enjoy about the dish. It was definitely one of the best hainese chicken dishes I have had and is on par with my moms own hainese chicken.! Service !The service was super fast and prompt, and we were quickly greeted immediately as soon as we walked through the door. The person who took our order was especially nice, since he accomadated my order of extra garlic in my rice and additional sauces.!Price Point!Initially I thought the price was a bit on the expensive side for $13, but was I wrong! The portions were big enough for at least 2 people with heaps of chicken. The only downside was the rice to chicken ratio since there was sooo much chicken.!Ambiance!A great place to grab a quick sit down bite. Its set up where you order and pick up your food, similar to that of a food court.!TLDR!Definitely an amazing place to come grab delicious thai style hainese chicken. The service was great, the food was amazing, what more can you ask for.
H Mart Torrance

I want to give it a higher rating, however the side entrance being the primary entrance to me is a big turn off. If you are ever at this location pay close attention about their main entrance, as typical retail experience - customers will enter from the most obvious and noticeable entrance, which in the case the front of the building. But in the case of this H-Mart, the main entrance is at the side, and multiple temp signs are put up to say the front entrance is an exit only.So from a customer perspective its weird, from a retail experience design point of view I can understand they would like people to start from produce and make their way through each section and lastly leave at checkout and maybe stay a bit at food court. But the side entrance is not obvious and because handicap ramp is at the front, ramp access is double as cart access. At least thats the way I figure, since there were no easy way to push carts without maneuvering around the h-Mart curb obstacle course...One more thing, most of the time people enter and leave from same entrance, exit. Since it is already somewhat confusing where main = side entrance is. When they are about to close at 10 (meaning at 8:30) the front of building (exit only) is already closed... That is 1:30min prior to closing, it really doesnt make sense to shut that part off.Anyways h-mart is a grocery store, so produce price are actually pretty good. Just please expect some curb obstacles and weird entrance from this particular h-martNote self - if I ever have to design a super market never put main entrance hidden visible vantage point, as it is freaking confusing (refer to h-mart Torrance location) as of 6/26/2016

I wanted to try this since it's right next to a really busy In n Out. The Google Maps wait time indicated it was a pretty good time to show up “not too busy” so I gave it a shot. I ordered the chicken strips, fries and a drink. I was told that it would be an extra 10 minutes for the strips, and I said ok, cause who thinks +10 is going to mean 35 minutes overall? I was in the drive thru for 20 minutes before I got to the window, another 10 minutes parked to get my order, and another 3-5 minutes to get my drink, cause they didn't bring it out with the chicken or give it to me at the window.I wish it was with it. The fries were good, beverage was standard, the gravy and honey mustard sauces were fine. The chicken strips looked crispy, but they were pretty thin, and so chewy. So chewy and stringy. Not dry like beef jerky. Somehow they were moist inside, but each bite reminded me of rubbery chicken skin. The flavor was ok, but after eating 3 chicken strips and a few fries I felt the effect of the fried food.I really, really hope they get their routines down and speed up their service. If the service was fast I would give it 3-4 stars, but I'll pass on rubbery chicken strips and just stick to that other place that's nearby.
