Queen Bean Caff
12045 5th St, Yucaipa, CA 92399, United States
I like this place. Giving three stars because Allie(sp?) earned all of them for this establishment single handedly. She worked so so hard for the 30+ minutes I waited for my cappuccino; all alone, running the cash register, taking orders, delivering orders, making drinks, taking complaints, acting as the receptionist for deliveries and solicitors, bussing tables, etc etc etc. The whole time she was nothing but polite and diplomatic to understandably frustrated customers. As far as I could tell, it was she and one cook in the whole restaurant, which had 20-30 people come in and out during my visit.Perhaps the staffing issue was a scheduling mistake. Perhaps it was to maximize profit. If so, management should consider refraining from offering so many food options and breakfast and drinks and services.I'm not angry, I just feel empathetic for Allie, who needs a raise!
Nekter Juice Bar
33946 Yucaipa Blvd Ste A, Yucaipa, CA 92399, United States
FRESH INGREDIENTS w/ QUESTIONABLE COMBOS. I'm a fan of Nekter's use of fresh ingredients, however this last time the juice I got was way too intense. I got The Buzz which has ginger, LOTS of carrot, oranges, lemon and other potent flavors. The carrots and ginger were too excessive, i literally was only tasting raw sensations. If you're a vegetable purist, you might even have trouble with this drink. It's too strong, and it didn't even have alcohol haha! I will give kudos that it totally flushed out some toxins for the day! The store was clean, the staff were meh. I most likely won't go for The Buzz soon, but the store seemed to have several appealing options for next time! Parking is tight as it shares the lot with other businesses and there's a Car Wash with light traffic next store. Also, a large juice is over $14, didn't really like that.
Taco Bell
31522 Yucaipa Blvd, Yucaipa, CA 92399, United States
The prices are fair, the food is actugood again. I just wish they gave you more for the price but I wish other places wouldnt gatekeep their sauces. Other places are either out of sauce, will charge you extra, or just wont give them to you. Even if you offer to pay extra for the sauces, sometimes they just dont want to even be bothered. Not Taco Bell. They always give me a sufficient amount of sauces. Sometimes a little too much but thats fine because I just save em and reuse them later. Thats how you run a business and keep your customers loyal. By not being stingy and annoying with such a simple thing like sauce packets. I love you Taco Bell. You did me a little dirty years ago, but your back and were happy to have you❤️

Italia Bella

EXCELLENT Italian cuisine - the equal or superior of any Italian restaurant in the Redlands-Yucaipa area. There are many delicious vegetarian options, in addition to meat dishes. Although the restaurants ambiance may not equal that of some other restaurants, be assured the food & service is Five Star quality. This is now our preferred Italian restaurant.
Wilshires Apple Shed
11925 Oak Glen Rd, Yucaipa, CA 92399, United States
We visited in early October, there was a slight chill in the air. Wishires Apple Shed is a welcoming, old world cafe and store. They had a wood burning fireplace stoked, and the place felt clean, warm and inviting. We ordered the Bees Knees and pepperoni pizzas. They use a traditional wood fired oven outside, and you can see the process from inside the restaurant. Both pizzas were perfect, delicious with char crisped crust and just the right amount of toppings. Portions were generous, we had some left to take home. We ordered a carmel apple latte and mocha for the road. I do not recommend the carmel apple latte but the mocha was great! Overall this place was fantastic and we will definitely return. We visited on a Monday and there was nobody there but we were told there is a line out the door on weekends!
Damasco Mediterranean Cuisine
35045 Ave D, Yucaipa, CA 92399, United States
I was in the area running some errands and I saw the amazing reviews to Damasco so I had to try it myself. Everyone was friendly and nice and the food was soooo good. Highly recommend the falafel and baba ganoush for vegetarians but I also ordered kibbeh for a meat lover and they absolutely loved it. There are no middle eastern restaurants where I live so Im really happy to have found this place not far off to the city Im at.
The Fat Greek
33265 Yucaipa Blvd, Yucaipa, CA 92399, United States
This review is meant to be detailed orientated and thoughtful just like the beautiful family at The Fat Greek.I found out about The Fat Greek on a billboard on the 10-W freeway and it was the best choice I made in awhile to fall for this advertisement. My girlfriend and I showed up and we were greeted by Nick who is a great energy guy! We were excited to try the Spicy Greek Fries, chicken gyro, steak kabob plate, and Baklava Cheesecake. I will give a concise review of each menu item, but I felt compelled to leave a review of beyond the food because of the kindness and wholesome vibe of this family restaurant. Therefore I am structuring this review with a timeline. The Waiting Room:After ordering up front, we sat in a booth and embraced the attention to detail of the ambience. My girlfriend and i appreciated the blue theme, the maps on the table, and just being able to look outside the windows. The peaceful and relaxing setting helped balance the excitement we had to try the dishes we ordered. I lost track of time, but it was not because they took long I just was in deep admiration of the experience I was having. Simran came out and she was excited to bring out the Spicy Greek Fries. See below for the reviewSpicy Greek Fries: This is a perfect harmony of fresh seasoned french fries that are nice and soft, the freshest feta cheese crumbles I ever had, and I think the rest of the ingredients were minced garlic and parsley. The serving was huge, but we devoured the pile of fries in no time. Simran saw how much we were enjoying the fries that she brought out tziki sauce for us. I already knew we she brought it to our table that I wanted to pour it all over the remaining fries. My girlfriend liked their tziki sauce by itself so much she left the little dipping cup spotless, it was cute.Chicken Gyro: This was Vickys order (my girlfriend) Her first impressions was that the pita bread was the freshest she ever had, the chicken was tender and flavorful, and the rest of the toppings onions and lettuce (Vicky doesnt like tomatoes) just added a nice crunch and texture to her gyro.Steak Kabob Plate: When my steak kabob plate was brought out I almost wanted to faint from happiness. They served me like the King that I am haha. The steak kabob there is legit. I got what I think looked like huge steak sirloin on a kabob. It was cooked medium and you could just taste the grill and quality of the steak. It comes with the fluffiest pilaf rice, a beautiful salad, and that fresh pita. I dont usually enjoy pilaf rice, but it was delicious and paired well with every bite. The salad comes with beautiful whole olives and again I dont like olives but I took a bite and surprised my self. I still dont like olives, but if I did then I was served the best olives that are out there.2 slices of Baklava Cheesecake: Originally Vicky and I ordered just one slice at first, but quickly I understood after the first bite that I must order another one! Have you ever had cheesecake just dissolve in your mouth?? Well thats what happens here and although Simran was joking if we were ready for the climax, it was no joke. The baklava topping of the cheesecake was like a slight crunch and texture to the cheesecake base and that was no New York Cheesecake base just so you know. The Ending: My Fat Greek experience added a new layer of appreciation and connectedness in my life. I dont like taking picture, I dont like posting/leaving reviews, I keep to myself. However, yesterday on February 25, 2024 I opened up my heart a little more and I have Nick and Simran plus the rest of their family working there to thank. I asked to take a picture with them and thats a big deal to me. Theres so much more nice conversations I had with them while I was there, but what I want to leave you with is whether you like to look at reviews or really want to try The Fat Greek, my message to you is open yourself up a little more today. I just about reached the character count limit.Blessings!

Thai food is my favorite. Tried this place & was fairly disappointed. 1st off the girl answering the phones & taking orders has ZERO knowledge of Thai cuisine. Seriously, ZERO. I asked for a bowl of TomKha with Kai & was told repeatedly they didnt make that! Seriously, What thai place doesnt!? Its on their menu! After much prodding & asking a cook, she finally admitted that they DO have my favorite soup! Ive never had TomKhaKai like this before. The broth was BRIGHT white, and not very tasty. I ordered mild, cause their TomYum is BLAZING HOT! I spent the next 30mins spitting out slices of unchewable lemon grass & lime leaves ?. The only good thing I can say about their version of this staple Thai soup is that they used authentic straw mushrooms...which is more than I can say for my Fav Thai place, ThaiChili, in Calimesa. Who go the cheap route & use white button mushrooms?. Yuthaipa, does NOT offer fried Tofu either. Atleast ThaiChili will panko crust ur fried tofu...if u ask? & its AMAZING! Just remember to get extra sweet peanut sauce...cause they never give u enough! Unfortunately, I wont be back to Yuthaipa. For now, Im still driving to Calimesa. Until SOMEONE puts a Benjarong or Rama Garden in Yucaipa?Just keep those Redlands prices in Redlands✌Please.
Los Rios Rancho

2 adults visiting on a busy September Saturday, expecting some lines and sun. Despite all the visitors, we found parking with no problem. Amazing views. Forgot my hat, but secured one for under $20 at the tent. Asked for instructions to navigate the day when buying hat. We elected to pick gala apples which were a short trek up the hill & across the street.Across the street we found another shopping tent but struggled to determine how to get started picking apples. Finally found a platform with some baskets of bags by an employee with yellow hair who began giving a speech of instructions. We stood in the direct sun to listen to the employee, expecting to have access to the apple bags when they finished. However, the employee began the spiel again from the start without offering bags to anyone. Several of us were confused, and standing in the hot, direct sun, were eager to get moving. I saw those in front of me select their bags from the basket during the second spiel and head toward the free wagon to get up to the galas. We moved forward with line to the baskets & I reached in for a 10# bag. The employee with the microphone, quickly turned on me & snapped that I needed to wait. I was startled & and shared wed already heard the speech. Employee retorted that I needed to wait and to ask them for the bags. I was alarmed to learn I was breaking rules that I was unaware of, and mortified to have been chided like that by someone with a microphone! Dazed, I slowly walked away from the bags back toward the tent. Shortly after my sister followed with a 10# bag and we got in the fully sun-exposed line for the wagon. While standing in line, a family behind us saw large umbrellas installed but not opened. The father, I assume, began opening one to shade his family. While doing so he looked at me and pointedly said, I hope I dont get yelled at!. This was when I really realized the employee had been speaking into her microphone when talking down to me. I was pretty bewildered with embarrassment but grateful for the familys sympathy. The wagons arrived after only a few moments & we had a nice ride up the hill to the galas. We passed the pumpkins & cornmaze. We had intended to try the cornmaze but it was unclear how to purchase access & honestly I am not sure it was ready or active. It just looked like a small section of immature corn crop.At our destination, we were pointed to a single, roped-off lane of gala trees with all the other visitors. The experience was very limited, controlled and people-y. We struggled to find enough apples we wanted to fill our bag, took some pics of the incredible views, and checked out. While waiting to pay, a woman with her family turned to me to offer that she didnt think I shouldve been yelled at earlier, that we all just wanted to get bags and get moving. I thanked her for her kindness and wondered just how many had witnessed that horrifying moment. Just under 8# of apples for about $35. We were fine with the cost.Note- most of the apples ended up not being very ripe, but were great in a pie we baked. We rode the wagon back down the hill, then walked to get bbq lunch. We found our place in a line of 20-30 people that didnt seem to progress. Many left the line, giving up on bbq, but we had read it was good & stood in line for about 75 minutes to order. After finally ordering, seats magically opened up at a shaded table & our food was ready quickly. We still have no idea why that line progressed so slowly. The pulled pork was good but the tri-tip was bland & chewy. The apple slaw was awesome. I would recommend skipping their apple pie as it was only OK. We had hoped to do more on our visit, but all the waiting, sun exposure, and the lingering unwelcome feelings from the earlier incident led us to beeline for the car and get outta there! Probably wont return in future seasons.
Tuna Time
32999 Yucaipa Blvd, Yucaipa, CA 92399, United States
First their site does not have prices so being a first time order I have no idea what their prices are. I ordered 4 special rolls and 4 hand rolls. I spent almost 80$. My favorite place in Calimesa I can get that much for about $20 less. At least the place I normally go tastes good. Every single piece including the hand rolls were covered in massive amounts of roe. I really do not like roe and there is no disclaimer telling you that everything is covered in roe. I wasted money here, and next time I am craving sushi I will simply wait until one of the places near by are open instead of going to this place. It was disgusting, and I am a big sushi fan. I am so very angry that I wasted so much money. This place is not worth the food.
