Cant you see? You & Lee, were meant to be!Had the great honor to attend Lees Sanwiches Grand Opening in Hawaiian Gardens. To commemorate the occasion, Lees offered either a free Vietnamese iced coffee or baguette with the purchase of a sandwich the whole day. Being a fan of Lees cheap banh mis and superstrong coffee, I jumped at the chance to be the very first in line for this special event. The employees were training, which is understandable. They were going through the ins & outs of the ordering process. My order took a little while longer than it should have, but I wasnt perplexed. Free mini-banh mi sandwiches, manjoo & iced coffee samples kept me happy as I waited for my order.Attending Grand Opening events, you just never know who youll have a photo-op with. Me, I just happened to snap a few pics next to THE Mr. Lee, himself! The official photographer also snapped a few pics of myself - with Mr. Lee, ordering at the register & with the employees giving out free food outside the entrance. Hey, I cant help that the camera loves me! ;pFor less than $4, you can have a tasty combination banh mi. A really great value with a good portion-size, the combo banh mi wont cause you to have a food baby. Wash that down with the liquid crack iced coffee, and thats what I call lunch.Of course, the place was spotless, with a few tables for dining in. Parking is in a private lot, anchored by a Walmart Neighborhood Market.Lees Sandwiches, glad to see you in Hawaiian Gardens. When I dont want to deal with the parking situation at the Artesia location, I wont hesitate to stop by & give my teeth a workout by gnawing on your crusty baguette bread sandwiches, with a iced coffee pick me up.Highly recommend!NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

The reason I gave a 2 star in service when it should be a 0 or 1 is because the Hispanic guy that works there has always treated my friend and I respectfully. But on Saturday, March 10, 2024 at around 0258 we noticed that the last grp of ppl left so we said well, lets ask for a tray so we can take our leftovers home. We ask for it and when we receive them the young waitress turns off the lights on us making it hard for us to pour our food in the tray. My friend asked kindly if we can get the lights on so we can see where we pour our food and they did. A few seconds later they turn a sound alarm as if they trying to tell us to get out.Not only did we know we were no longer welcomed they, meaning 2 college student asian females, Im assuming, did not have the decency to tell us their closed, even though we were getting ready to leave, but decided to give us the silent treatment. When we went to the door my friend said good night and the asian lady who was cleaning the kitchen said good morning. My friend laughed it out and said yes you are correct and they still gave us that hostility silence. When we were talking at the parking lot we noticed that they still had the light on. And realized that they left the lights on because they needed it to clean so why did they turn off the lights on us when we were trying to pour our food in a container to take home.Ladies, you have a mouth, talk to us, dont be disrespectful. I have never given a negative rating before and this was definitely uncalled for.

I have been here since the store opened. I was nervous when I first visited this shop because I didn't know what to order. So, I choose a Vietnamese coffee and it was delicious. I came back some weeks later and ordered an Oreo and Mango smoothie and love them.Ever since then, I come here to relax and drink. Love everything from the amazing plushies to a kind hearted worker. If you want somewhere to relax and drink some delicious drinks like a boba or a smoothie, then this is the place for you.

This place is always supper bizzy. But they are fast.... Unfortunately they always get your order wrong. & Mean ALWAYS!!!Check it at the counter before you walk away.& keep your receipts. The girls who work hear are all black.Without being racist black girls tend to be argumentative by nature, with strong personalities. This store like most fast food places has a large turn over rate. That being said ive been served by 20-30 different black girls. Now this store is in a $hitty part of town with a ton of beggars. So i can see why they are so feisty. You shouldnt have to save your recipients so when you get your order & its wrong, because its going to be. Then you can verbally batter the counter girl with recipients in hand as proof till she finally gives in & fixes your order. But if you choose to buy food from this store be prepared. Lots of times i didnt keep my recipients& literally 45seconds later Im like i just ordered less than a minute ago how can you not remember.... Glazed red eyes think back to blunt hits taken on break shoulders shrug & Ughh Ughhh is issuedOn the bright side 3 times they messed up & gave me way more food than i paid for.The 1st time i gave it back... & yes i had to fight with the girl till about 3min into the fight she realized i was trying to give stuff back then she started laughing & said i dont know why you juss dinnit keep itThe # 2&3 time i did keep it due to being ripped off about 4times & either not wanting to drive back & or loosing the mortal combat round for my proper order.Just rememberLOOK IN THE BAG AT THE COUNTER!!KEEP RECEIPTS!!
