Friends invited me to share lunch with them at this Vietnamese Restaurant. I was at first skeptical, not having heard about the place before; and Id never eaten Vietnamese since I left Saigon in 1970. What a surprise! First off, the place was bustling. Nearly every table filled, but we lucked out and were seated at a table for the 6 of us. After my friends walked me through the menu, I felt comfortable to see what Pho Ha had in store for me.

The Pho Shack has a different atmosphere than most traditional Vietnamese restaurants boasting a more modern appeal for possibly gaining more interest from a broader audience of diners.The staff is polite and appropriate and the food preparation times are lightning fast even when a rush of diners show up.What matters most is how well the actual Pho is compared to its contemporaries. The broth is light and not salty which is great as this is important when it comes to adding sauces like hoisin and chili. The meat is adequate and most of the fixings are what to be expected. Not particularly exemplary, but definitely good.Unfortunately, they appear to falter when it comes to the grill portion of their menu as the ALL-IN rice platter doesnt seem to offer much as an entree seeing as the rice and salad provided dominate the plate.For those who care about their drinks they do have a Freestyle Coca-Cola Machine while only hosting a smaller selection of flavors still does wonders for diner choice.Overall, its definitely one of my closer options for Pho!

Food was delicious. I love Pho and tried other Vietnamese restaurants in Moreno Valley and had terrible experiences. My stomach wasnt feeling too well today so I took my changes and tried Pho Le. Had the chicken Pho it was incredible, hit the spot. Couldnt finish it because its large portions but will definitely finish it tomorrow. My son had the spring rolls and said they were so good, fresh tasting. We ordered for take out, but the staff were friendly on the phone.

So I tried their food for the first time last night. 5 stars. Post COVID times have really deteriorated the whole dining experience. I have found that when food is delivered to the house it automatically reduces 10-20% of the quality of the food because it is not fresh. Anyhow getting to the food. We ordered the Chicken pineapple fried rice, egg rolls, Panang curry, Mango crispy chicken, and the strawberry basil iced tea. Despite what I wrote in the begining, the food was delicious! I have never tasted curry powder in fried rice before so that was delicious and new for me. The panang curry was flavorful and creamy. The mango chicken was also good but I would have liked more sauce. The star of the dinner was the strawberry basil tea. My husband was so annoyed that I did not get one for him. Which is weird because he usually doesnt like tea :) Overall I am glad I ordered here. Youll should definitely check it out.
