Pho Island Restaurant
3055 S Archibald Ave F, Ontario, CA 91761, United States
I love Pho but the rude experience tonight made it my very last time at this local restaurant. I walked in the girdt late 20s inquired whether call in or not, I proceeded to say no and ask for a menu. She pointed, gesture for my to move out of the way, and quickly greeted the next person before I got a chance to move.Once I figured out what I was to orderI attempted to request my order, I was shut dont saying the Caucasian lady the was bwhind me came 1st which did not occur. She dismissed me and move on to her. I stated that was not the case and she debuted with me. The Caucasian lady stated I could go ahead, but that was not the point. I told her to proceed with her since she deemed her order more important than mine.An older asian gentlemen came from behind the counter to personally take my order (those stars are only b/c of him). Once my order was taking, he gave my order to the rude front order taker.Once she was done taking the Caucasian ladies order, she politely looked around before coming in a conclusion that she has to have me pay for my order. She proceeded to talk to me as if she did nothing f****** wrong and I just left. Its amazing how racism is still alive in this day and age.
Bone & Broth - Vietnamese Pho Cuisine
4320 Mills Cir Suite A, Ontario, CA 91764, United States
After arriving @ the Ontario airport we were craving Vietnamese food so we asked the crew members for their favorite Vietnamese restaurant near the airport. Hands down they recommended Bone & Broth. So we drove 10 mins from the airport and arrived around 2 pm. We were thinking, its after the lunch crowd, they wont be busy. Yeah right, we added our name to the wait list. About 15 mins later we were seated. My all time favorite is the Vermicelli bowl with grilled pork, shrimp and egg rolls and Bahn Mi. Especially if its our first time. Thats how we compare restaurants. No matter what cuisine it is, we have our favorite dishes to compare. We ordered the house special chicken wings, vermicelli bowl- I requested in a bowl. Normally its served in a dish shaped like a boat. Lastly, the infamous Bone & Broth! Its a large beef bone with tender meat with slivers of tendon in a beef broth.Everyone enjoyed their choices. The wings were fried perfectly,it was tender and crunchy. The vermicelli bowl was packed with fresh lettuce, cucumber, bean sprouts & carrots. The bowl had plenty of vermicelli, which is a plus. Sometimes weve been to other Vietnamese restaurants and I can see the bottom of the bowl after a few servings. The pork was crispy and smoky. The beef broth was clear, rich and savory. The beef tendon was very tender. They really took their time preparing it.Next time were in Ontario, well definitely stop by to try the rest of the menu.

R&B Tea Ontario
4210 Inland Empire Blvd Suite B, Ontario, CA 91764, United States
Best Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea Ive ever had! I had half sweet and it was banging. Soft boba with a nice tender chew in the middle. There were crunches of brown tea throughout which gave an snagging texture. The tea could be tasted with the drink, instead of the milk overpowering it. Perfect balance! The cups ate a hard frosted plastic, that can be reused at home with a beautiful logo/ design.I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was out of this world! The bread if flaky and crisp on the outside, tender on the inside. All for under $14.Staff is very friendly and helpful. The seats are PLUS SIZE friendly and plush!I will not be searching for another Boba Tea place, THIS IS IT!
World Fried Chicken
2527 S Euclid Ave, Ontario, CA 91762, United States
I made a huge mistake coming here the other reviews were misleading to say the least. I arrived at the front counter surprised to find three screens ready to guide me through my order instead of a person. I followed the screen prompt and placed my order at 5:49pm and sat down in a nearly empty restaurant. After waiting for half an hour I asked someone who had come out to the front counter how much longer I would have to wait he went to the back room and came back and said about 5 more minutes. It took 10 more minutes after that to get my food. I grabbed my order and left irritated that I had to wait so long for fried chicken when the restaurant was empty. To top it all off when I tried the food it was supposed to be Nashville hot chicken but tasted like spicy sweet garlic and ginger chicken with a side of fries that were soggy. My son ordered the French garlic parmesan chicken strips and couldnt eat them because they tasted like nothing but garlic and that it was nothing like the chicken he ordered at other places. It was my first time here but definitely my last I was thinking this place was along the lines of a Clydes hot chicken or Hotties chicken but I was wrong I would have been better off going to Wing stop. I think they are trying to give you variety but fail when it comes to quality its too bad because I live close by and wanted to like this place.
Kra Z Kais BBQ
3430 Ontario Ranch Rd Unit 3, Ontario, CA 91761, United States
Since opening in 2018, Kra Z Kai has soared to one of the most popular restaurants in our fine city. We have frequented this humble, little restaurant about every week. It is that good. The owner, Muskie, is wonderful to talk to. He is so diligent and successful at this location that he is already expanding into Orange County, in Stanton. When that will open, I am not sure. This is Laotian cuisine, similar in taste to Thai. His menu is short and sweet, offering beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp, fixed fresh using the owners excellent family recipes. He also offers a shredded green mango salad that is typical SE Asian with a fish sauce dressing..Our personal favorites are the pork ribs (incredibly meaty), the succulent Laotian sausage (absolutely uncomparable), and the chicken (thighs or wings). These meals run in the $8-9 range and are generous portions. You can also order by the piece. You can also order a combo plate that gives you a choice of 4 proteins. At around $12, it gives you a huge amount of food that could either be shared or eaten as leftovers.Meals come with a choice of rice (3 different kinds - steamed, sticky, or fried), and a salad with a soy dressing. I usually pass on the rice and get double salad instead.Fast service, consistently good. This is a very casual place, limited seating, hidden in the back of a large open strip mall, so it is kind of hard to find the first time around. Be diligent and you will be vastly rewarded.
Donut Palace
727 E Holt Blvd, Ontario, CA 91761, United States
Flies inside store on donuts. Customer service is 70/30 70% rude, dirty looks 30% of the time okay maybe. I know they say that donuts are made fresh everyday. Maybe the ones theyre giving me are the ones from the day before. so theyre always a day behind the fresh donuts. Restaurant could be cleaner. And whats up with me ordering a dozen donuts? You give me three napkins and when I ask for more you give me a dirty look like the next two napkins you give me cost you guys $100. To be honest, I dont even think they eat the donuts they make there.
