Food is excellent and always well prepared. New owners made some changes and painted the place recently but this place is well known to LAPD and locals as the best teriyaki chicken and sushi spot in Tarzana so make sure you are patient enough to wait 15-20 minutes for your food for pick up or eat-in.

This place is amazing, my husband and I live it! The best teriyaki weve tried ever, its a 20ish min drive for us but so worth it and I recently tried their sushi which is also delicious!

Bit more expensive than Id pay given the quality. The hand rolls have chunks of cut fish shoved into it, which I found rather weird. Also, the menu claims to have crab meat in their rolls, but its just imitation crab meat, AKA whitefish, so dont get tricked.

I got charged extra for avocado and i get it served like this? Not ok at all. I understand it being a little dark after waiting to eat it maybe but being served and opening it right away to look like this? No.

I used to love their chicken, seemed like it was only the non fatty meat. Today I got the teriyaki chicken bowl and I couldn’t eat most of the meat full of fat and gristle 🤮

I wish there were no stars to select it, here is my story with this restaurant. Because it is less than a mile from my new job location and also because I like Teriyaki food I started to get my lunch from this place, one day I had very bad stomach pain and diarrhea two hours after I had their food, I thought it might be something else, a few days later I had same symptoms again after another meal, thank god it wasnt that severe, but I will not take the risk and go there again. dont push your luck and eat there.

The very best sushi for the money in town!! I really love the big salmon roll the way they do it that you cannot get anywhere else but there. The staff is very friendly and the food is very very fresh And extremely well priced especially their lunch boxes. I highly recommend you check it out! I have been a fanatic for their Teriyaki Chicken for years!!! The staff is friendly, polite, and courteous. I have read reviews about minor errors, really? Perfection is not of our world but they try. The Food is ALWAYS fantastic, timely and fresh. Trust me... Try them, you will like them!

I love the food, hands down great. Theyre Boba is beyond terrible and I dont think they care and know theyre skimming on ingredients.I just ordered a chicken teriyaki plate with a banana strawberry boba.The plate was great but the salad that came along with my order had next to zero salad dressing. I do love it so it was disappointing but I didnt think my drink would be so awful.I was crossing my fingers that their Boba would be on point for once. I got a milk smoothie with bland tasteless Boba. No strawberry and the faintest taste of banana.Every time I order a Boba there I think maybe I got a bad day or something, I try different ones that they offer but theyre terrible.Each employee doesnt make it correctly and its either too sweet or just like what I got today.Maybe remove Boba all together because that was LAME.New guy working there with glasses, has the worst customer service skills as well.I usually order there a lot but this is getting dumb

The restaurant was dirty. Floors looked like it havent been moped in days, the tables were sticky. Asked for a refund after ordering the food. We told the manager how dirty it was and his response was that they had a busy lunch rush. Mind you it was 3 in the afternoon.

BBQ T is a good local spot in Tarzana to grab delicious take out sushi, yes I said it, TAKE OUT SUSHI...We all miss going inside sushi bars and can feel a bit sketch when ordering sushi for delivery, but BBQ Teriyaki is a GREAT option with plenty of menu items for sushi lovers and for non sushi lovers, I recommend the yummy yakisoba.

This is one of my favorite spots in the valley to grab a plate with chicken and rice. I normally fancy places such as Chipotle or El Pollo Loco but this place does the job! My favorite dish is the spicy chicken dish, they do an exceptional job with making this particular dish.

Great food. However, advertise and claim when asked, that they do not serve msg which is simply not true. Multiple items they offer DO in fact contain msg. That is not ok, especially when some people have serious allergies.

Good food, they just lack in service sometimes. Walked in and stood there for around 5mins and was completely ignored, left then came back and was served. Also I was the only customer in the place which made it even stranger that I stood there so long ignored.

Good spot for lunch, nothing fancy. Has teriyaki bowls and sushi. I had a combo bowl beef/chicken not bad. ($6.75). Didnt try the sushi but they have a lot of variety and I saw most people ordered sushi. Cant go wrong. Small place but a very good variety of options.

Not too impressed, ordered the teriyaki beef & chicken combo the chicken was hot and the rice was hot but the beef was cold and so chopped up it looked like leftovers. The overall cleanliness of the place another story the floors are sticky and splatter marks on the walls. Its rated an A but i dont think Ill be back, but hey sometimes you have to try places to eat.

Pretty standard inexpensive Japanese fare. You get a lot of grub for the money for lunch if you choose one of their lunch special combos. My chicken teriyaki was dry and overcooked so I loaded it up with teriyaki sauce.If you want something cheap and fast on Ventura Blvd, this is your spot.

Just like the name says, great bbq teriyaki chicken. Lunch special B with a side salad, bowl of miso soup, two shrimp tempura, two small pot stickers, and two pieces of California roll sushi. Perfect cooked steamed rice with charred teriyaki chicken on top. Chicken is diced bite size. Ive been eating the same lunch special for years now. No need to explore the menu, Im happy with that. Great choice of sushi, and other dishes.
