This place rocks! Velvet-y soft STEAMY hot tofu soup hits the spot every time. I love the galbi and potato salad is my favorite side, fried fish not so much. This time food came out in spurts with rice coming way last, huh???, but they were super busy so it can be forgiven this once ;-)

First time trying this chain restaurant on UberEat. The food was sooooo good!! Despite of quite a distance, the food was still served hot and well presented. I really appreciate that they included the banchans and even give a little fish dish for free. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely try it again whenever I come back to LA..!👍🏾👍🏾

This is a great restaurant, and I was told by locals (and of Korean descent) this is the best tofu restaurant chain in the area. Awesome service and superior food. The server would keep asking what dishes we would like more of. Superior service and food!!!

This restaurant has a good cantine vibe. It is clean and well organized. If you don’t know about Korean cuisine, it is a good restaurant to stop by. They offer simple and basic Korean dishes. The soon tofu soup is excellent. The hot stone bibimbap missed some sesame oil. The Banchan are excellent and you can get more if you want.

1. Service: You will receive best service when the manger is overseeing the floor. Interestingly, during the non-busy hours (2pm - 5pm), the service is not very good. The manager is not present and the servers are not very attentive. I recommend visiting the place 30 minutes prior to the busy hours (11:30am for lunch time and 5:30pm for dinner time).2. Food: Generally, the food is good. However, it is bit salty, especially during non-busy hours. If you are okay with salty food, you will not have any issues with food.3. Parking: During busy hours, the parking is terrible. Although the restaurant is located in the strip mall, it is very difficult to find the parking during busy hours.Overall, good place to go if you want to experience Korean soft Tofu stew. Dont expect food to be served quickly. The hot stone rice and soft Tofu need time. Expect to spend about 45 minutes to 60 minutes, including waiting time for food to be served.

We went here for the first time for Korean food. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. They gave us plenty of Korean dish at the beginning and we got the seafood pancake and spicy bulgogi combine, which comes with a tofu soup and rice. The food was super tasty and the price is reasonable. Really enjoyed the experience. Will go back!

Tofu soups are delicious. Really liked Original Beef and Dumpling.. Just be aware of spiciness, if youre sensitive to it.. Mild is actually medium spicy, Medium is actually hot, and Hot is, pretty much, Fiery.

I recently visited this location and received terrible service. The host is very disrespectful and inconsiderate. They have no manners when serving their customers. I believe she is only courteous when serving for her own race. Very unfortunate. For example, when serving the tables, she threw the menus and utensils at my family as if she did not want us to eat there. Despite their food being good, I will not be returning due to their horrible customer service.

Good food, especially if you are a fan of tofu. Five levels of spice when you choose a dish. I got the kimchi beef soon tofu. Its nice and silky and cooks a bit in the broth. Pot come out sizzling and they crack the egg in it right away. Perfectly cooks in the soup. Not too much beef in the dish but the main show was the tofu anyways. All dishes come with rice and the usual Korean sides, plus a fish. Three tofu dishes came out to $43. Not too bad to be very well fed. Only downside we experienced tonight was it took awhile for us to get everything after we ordered, feels like we may have been forgotten. But that happens sometimes at good and busy restaurants.

Picked up food today, love their fried fish and bought pickled cucumbers and I was so disappointed because these cucumbers tasted very very salty. It tasted like water and lots of salt on it.Can’t even eat them so I decided to dip them in vinegar to counter act the taste.And guess what they just put one napkin in the bag, I repeat one thin tiny napkin.

We ordered a bunch of their tofu soup starter kits for delivery and discovered they were more than a month past their expiration date. The manager was friendly and said we could exchange them for new ones, but he refused to deliver them and didnt offer us anything for our trouble. These things happen, but it would be nice if the people who made the mistake would try harder to keep us as customers.

I like their tofu soup and I have taken my family many times there. However, I consistently do not like the servers attitude. Namely, Jessica and Sunny. Both of them seem grumpy and their faces speak volumes how much they do not want to be there nor want to be bothered by the customers. I have complained about Sunny before but she still has not changed her ways. Recently, Jessica made faces when we asked for basic service. And I also saw the servers arguing loudly among themselves next to the customers that did not understand Korean.Manager-- please speak to these ladies about their manners and attitude.

If you want a place thats reliably good go here but I dont think that theyre necessarily the best I think a smaller establishment might provide the extra magic necessary that I felt this place lacked to take it to the next level. I have no expertise about Korean tofu but I do know that I thoroughly enjoyed my previous Korean tofu meal at a hole in the wall in the middle of Whittier or somewhere like that that was only recently opened and had no real clout. That being said this place is clearly the most prestiged Korean a place thats accessible to everyone. Think of it like the In-N-Out Burger of Korean food

We were first customer to dine in for breakfast... served food really really late... didnt even scoop the rice for us or anything... some eyelash came out from the soup but didnt bother to tell them cause i know its gonna take them another 30min to bring the food again... and to top it off one of the lady was being little rude the whole time. So we werent really happy with the service here so we left little tip (we usually tip pretty good) and the lady gave us a dirty look too. haha i would expect at least the basic service if you are expecting some normal % tips from the customer. It can easily become a habit. Great healthy and delicious food. Interestingly served. First you get a few appetizers/condiments . Then the boiling hot caldron of organic tofu soup. You order it as spicy as you want it. They bring a raw egg, that if you want its cracked and put in the,soup to cook. Then they bring stone steamed rice that is skillfully served in a stainless bowl. And your main course that you eat with the rice (they even have brown rice now.)It is more than a great meal. It is an experience. Its always 99% +Korean diners. I always wonder why not more non Koreans come to enjoy. A great dinner in a not too great atmosphere... but I thing the food more than makes up for the lack of decor. You just concentrate in your eating experience and on the people you are with. Order from the special combos on the wall for an even less expensive meal, but as good and satisfying as from the menu. I do miss a glass of,wine or a Korean beer that they have at other locations, but not in Torrance. Come hungry. You will feel satisfied and know youve eaten healthy and delicious. And you will be back for more.

If you dont want to make the trip all the way to Korea town, not to worry. This place has the best tofu soup (soon dobu) in the Southbay. And they usually serve 6-7 side dishes (banchan). Like any BCD Tofu house, their galbi (beef short ribs) is the best.Once you place your order the food comes out pretty quick. Love this place!

Start you off with fried whole fish with all sorts of side dishes from kimchi, bean sprouts, and other pickles that changes with season and availability. I believe all pickles are made at home (kitchen) and can be bought there. Get the soon tofu hot pot soup which always hits the spot. Pick your preference of spiciness and youre all set. Im a delivery driver and also a professional cook. Picked up an order here and saw alot of alarming practices. Dishwasher was going from dishes to plating food, nobody was handling food with gloves. Enjoyed dinner here with family! Its apparently a popular dinner place; we had to wait 20 minutes or more for a table.Just like traditional Korean restaurants, this place serves little plates of appetizers to accompany rice meals. They are called banchan. For our Banchan, they served us a couple kimchees, a little crispy fish for each person, a mung bean plate, a radish thingy, and a tofu plate.I had the Hot Stone Bibimbap Combo (Tofu) with Seafood Soon Tofu . The hot stone bowls cook rice so that the rice touching the bowl turns crispy - I loooove crispy rice!My son had the Galbi Combo (BBQ Shortribs) which he says was excellent. He also ordered a Korean beer.I ended up taking home my leftover Bibimbap Rice which I had the next day. It was still really good!
