I have been frequenting the franchises for a long time 20+ years. I have gone to the Encino and Sunset Hollywood spots (No longer there), and whenever Im in Vegas I always hit up the one in New York New York. I only really go to the Studio City location. It has gone through some changes in the menu most noticeably their Iconic Classic Shredded Chinese Chicken. The Ginger Vinegrette still has that tang but the slad itself does not have the same texture. It is not shredded lettuce, or at least not to the degree it was before. Still tastes the same but in my opinon the texture makes a difference. I still enjoy it however. The Shrimp toast is now is literally Shrimp triangles and I like it better then the former eggroll shaped fare they had years before. If you havent had before def hit it up as the crunchy shrimp flavor dipped in the peach apricot sweet and sour sauce is sublime. The service is impeccable! The stafff has always been warm and friendly!

Had lunch here and it was amazing. I havent been in awhile and last I thought the food quality had went down, the service is always great. but yesterday the food was amazing the Mongolian beef was sweet and savory I thought about ordering another by far one of my favorite dishes.

I dont think I ordered their best dishes and definitely want to go back to try again. But for now what I can say is that the shrimp toast were outstanding. The hot and sour soup was good. The Mongolian beef was sweet!! Come on peeps thats not cool. How can Mongolian beef be sweet? I remain hopeful that some of the other entrees will be much better.

I have literally never had anything less than a five star experience at Chin Chin. I eat here all the time and would rate it higher if possible. Special shoutout to Ray and Saeed at the Studio City location. They always make every meal there a wonderful experience 😄 Shoutout to the waiter Ben as well!

I personally don’t know much about Asian food, but I’m in love with how everything tastes, it’s so lovely. I’ve been here three times, and have such a good experience every time. Really good and worth whatever you spend. The food was ready almost immediately, can’t say enough good things. This is Sweet and sour chicken with friedrice.

This is a great spot to go eat on a Friday night not crowded and the food is amazing we had a very good service as well they might need to hire one or two more employees hey Im looking for work LOL well thank you guys for a lovely evening with our family was pleasant to have dinner there we shall do it again soon the servers the cooks and the manager have a great customer service I must say I recommend the toast with the shrimp I know it sounds weird but if you like shrimp you must taste this tata for now boys and girls

For decent American Chinese food this place hits the spot. It won’t be the best Chinese food you’ve ever had, but it’s a great option if you’re craving Sweet & Sour sauce or orange chicken. Would recommend the peanut noodles, as they were tasty and a little more exciting as a carb dish. Service was fantastic, and the team clearly cares about your experience here, so for that reason alone I’d come back.

Came here with my family and my brother to celebrate my mothers 92nd birthday. The food and service were incredible. If you knew the famous Madame Wus restaurant this was the closest to them I have ever had. Also somewhat like PF Changs which is also a great Chinese restaurant. Joy was our waitress and the whole staff as well as the manager were very attentive and friendly. While sitting at our table looking the menu over the smells from the kitchen as they prepared other meals was a sign that this was going to be a great meal. We over ordered since we didnt realize what large portions they serve but were glad to try many of their different dishes and bring home leftovers. The Chinese chicken salad was superb and the Mongolian beef was out of this world delicious. So was the soups, appetizers and other dishes we ordered. Nice looking and clean restaurant too. I highly recommend going here when your in the mood for great Chinese food and friendly attentive service. As a side note, since 2 in our party are in wheelchairs, the elevator and easy access to this restaurant was a big plus too.

I was blown away by the incredible customer service provided by the manager Saeed. He patiently helped me over the phone to choose the meals which best suited my preferences and When I ordered food, I didn’t calculate the portions and when I went to pick it up I realized that this was not enough for my family, Saeed added a complimentary portion of fried rice, which was very nice of him, and the whole food was very tasty. very happy and grateful

Weakest Chinese meal I’ve had in a long time. Mapo tofu has zero pork in it, weak sauce. Hot & Sour soup even worse…literally just a container of soup base with a handful of tiny cubes of tofu. Typically this soup is full of tofu, vegetables and other good stuff. I feel like I got half a meal here.Also, the kitchen forgot to include one of our 4 orders in the takeout. At least they refunded us.Try someplace else!

I came here for dinner with a few of my girlfriends and we shared as an appetizer the vegetable spring rolls and the fried rice. The fried rice in my opinion was not that great and was over salted. The spring rolls were good with the sauces provided. For my entree I decided to get the wonton soup with chicken which was delicious as well as the Chinese Chicken Salad. When I had been to this location in the past, I had always gotten the salad, but nowmany places near by have them and they are just as good.The staff is always friendly here and our waiter was very intuitive and funny. There is a parking lot with plenty of free parking, but you can also park below. Compared to other places nearby, their menu is a little pricey, but the food is good.

Eating here for decades and still good. Once upon a time in the 90s it was the place to eat. Now it seems you can always get a table easily. Called beforehand for dinner on a Sunday at 5PM. Was told no wait, come on in. Got there and waited about 30 minutes despite plenty of empty tables. Chaos in the kitchen and overheard that the GM froze seating so the kitchen can catch up. Understandable, simple reset so they can stabilize. No explanation or apology from the GM that sat us, and nothing about it from the waiter either. Got seated and still waited about another 15 minutes to order. Had to ask for the free wanton chips every other table got. Beer and sake came out after the main meal was brought out, even though it was ordered first. Cant believe I paid $10 for a small bottle of Saporro. This place used to be one of my favorite spots for their iconic chicken salad.... but unfortunately I dont see myself coming back here again.

We ordered a meal the other day form them. This meal was the worst food I have had in many years! We had to discard it, it was as if they spilled an entire can of salt into our food!! Horrible! Chin Chin is an all time favorite but the prices are steep. Best deal there is the Dim Sum and then Sum and if you go to the one on Sunset theres easy parking in the back and cute little benches where you can eat and enjoy an amazing view of the city. This one has okay parking, but its best feature is that right across the street is a Starbucks, Papersource and Salt and Straw for amazing ice cream! My favorite is Honey Lavender or the seasonals made with edible flowers.
