2023-07-06 04:40:24Top notch Chinese food! Came here last year, with my family! We were blown away by the great food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. Portions were huge and fairly priced. The pictures are the dishes we ordered. Been looking for a go to for Chinese food and this is the spot! I highly recommend this place and I look forward to coming back this summer!

2022-09-21 18:35:47I used to come here as a kid with my family for special occasions and as a young adult on my first date with my hubby (then boyfriend).Recently, I came with mom for lunch after many, many years, and it was still the same (in a good way). The atmosphere is dark and moody and slightly sophisticated (maybe). To me, the decor is classic and brings nostalgia.Their food is consistently good, cooked well, and flavorful. Ive ordered a shrimp dish and the eggplant dish (my favorite vegetable). Theyve never disappointed me.Id recommend this place all day every day.

2023-09-26 18:35:08The food served at this place is absolutely delicious. And that’s not even the most amazing thing! I’m not even an Asian food fan, but their Spicy Honey & Sesame Double Delight (basically orange chicken & shrimp) was what hit the spot for me! I also love the mellow atmosphere of the restaurant, really inviting. Great place, definitely coming back with family and friends!

2022-07-06 20:42:27This place was HIGHLY recommended by a neighbor of a friend, and WOW WOW WOW - super glad we made the time to explore this venue because everything was really delicious here!We ordered: eggplant in Szechuan sauce, honey walnut shrimp, fried rice, chicken corn soup, Mongolian beef, and General Tsos chicken.Every dish was really spectacular and we just really enjoyed the quality of the food, the ambiance, and the super personable waiter who served us.This is a MUST STOP for Oceanside eats!

2022-11-02 05:21:13Delicious Chinese food, good Sichuan spice. This is flavorful food, but Chinese seeking authentic food may find it too Americanized. They explain the menu very well and point out tips for enjoying the lunch menu. I will come here again and again. Service was excellent. Friendly staff, good prices. Food came fast. We ate everything on the plate. Get the spicy beef.

2023-11-23 20:57:32I think this might be the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I got the tangerine beef and the egg rolls that come as a set of four. Very, very good and the leftovers were even just as good the next day. The service was also outstanding.

2023-11-22 22:37:33I’m not sure how this place has such high ratings bc it lacks seasoning and so many other things. Read through a few of the of the 1 and 2 star reviews after we had waited an hour for our food and I second those opinions. $100 later I can say service is very slow, dealt with a little of the attitude from servers as mentioned in other posts and overall the food is not worth those prices at all. Wontons from panda are fuller and taste better to include their entrees. Kinda sad we even thought to try it bc it was definitely lacking in all aspects also, bring your phone bc you’ll need the flashlight to see the menu bc lighting is very dim.

2023-01-21 05:04:14Appearance is nice. Staff seems friendly. Asked for dark fried rice as I am used to a Cantonese version of fried rice which is very very dark brown. Rice was still very light. I also ordered shrimp egg foo young and I was immediately grossed out as the very first spoon into the container of gravy I pulled up hair 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. Since my hair is up and currently gray and my husband is bald, naturally it wasnt our hair. I started to toss the whole meal in the trash which was just under 60 bucks. Not impressed. Looking for a fried rice house like The Mandarin that was in Oceanside off of Mission next to the Walmart grocery store.*Update* I received a very quick response from Howard and he has made a very good faith effort to rectify this unfortunate issue. Will try Chins again and update my review again.
