The last time I had a proper bowl of Lanzhou Beef Noodle soup was on a trip to Beijing and this restaurant brought back all the memories and tastes. The food here is amazing and all at great prices. We tried both the signature beef soup and the Lanzhou beef noodle soup and they were delicious.As part of your order you can choose what kind of noodle to add to the soup and the spice level. The serving sizes are huge and offer great value for the price.When we came this place was already filling up so it’s definitely a popular spot. Will be back here for sure!

Ive been here a couple times now and Ive been very pleased every time! The place is so cleanable ND the service is friendly and so fast! I cant overstate how quick the food came out!My friend and I ordered the cucumber in garlic sauce and celery mix with bean curd. Both were delicious appetizers, the cucumber especially. The garlic sauce was very garlicky and cucumbers were fresh and crisp. I also ordered the wontons in chili oil. They wontons were plump and juicy and the chili oil added great flavor with a hint of heat. My main entrée was the beef bone soup. The hand pulled noodles were great! I got the wide noodles and loved their chewy texture. The meat on the rib was so tender and easy to bite into. They also soaked up that delicious beef broth.Im absolutely coming back here again, especially when its cooler weather! Great food and really fast service!

Excellent food! They make their noodles at the restaurant and they are delicious. Menu is through a QR code but you may request a real menu from the staff. Some of the staff have limited English but there is always someone available to answer questions. We’ve eaten there several times since their grand opening and it’s always a pleasure. Most dishes are meat based so there’s not a huge selection for those who don’t eat meat. My personal favorite is the tomato/eggs noodles with a side of their yummy garlic cucumbers. My family (the meat eaters) love their spicy wontons and the lamb soup. One last tip, if you’re not used to restaurants with handmade noodles; once you’re seated they’ll bring you cups and a pitcher of water along with a clean set of scissors in an extra cup. Those scissors are for cutting your noodles so you don’t make too much of a mess! Enjoy!

Legit Chinese food. I lived in China for a number of years, this is authentic. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu, my stomach can only handle so much food in one sitting. The spicy cumin lamb pita burger was very nice as were the spicy wontons.

I went there for lunch today. I order the Lanzhou noodle. The thick noodle. It’s really good. The noodle is all handmade. The waitress Elaine is very friendly. She is very helpful when I asked her what should I order. She explained the different options like the soup base and the different kind of noodle. She is fantastic. The salad is really good. The shredded potato is very tasty. And the spicy beef has very good flavor. It’s definitely a great place to get lunch. I highly recommend it.

Everything is so good! Good service and clean. The waitress was very knowledgeable and recommended a few dishes for us to try. The appetizers was very good. Some of my favorites growing up. My favorite is the cold skin noodles. So flavorful and yummy. The texture has a nice chew to it. Also try the cumin lamb chow mein with the flat noodles. Love the spices and flavors of it.

Met up with friends who loved this place. Noodles were being hand-stretched in the back. We ordered a wide variety of dishes, all of which were superb and nicely spiced. I had the nourishing lamb soup with wide noodles. Sadly, the dumpling ladies had the day off. Note to self: return for dumplings! Scissors were at the table to chop the long noodles. A rack of seasonings allowed one to experiment. There was an interesting take on potato salad, and a good seaweed salad, too. A delicious glow ensued. Highly recommended for a Chinese treat!

This is an authentic noodle house. Youre paying a premium price because the noodles are freshly made by hand. I love the spicy shredded potato salad and order it every time. I tried the spicy cold cuts appetizer but they made me sweat so I asked for a bowl of plain noodles to go with it; it came out in a delicious bone broth that was to die for. Highly recommended if you crave fresh hand-made noodles. No hot tea but you dont really need hot tea with a steaming bowl of bone broth. The noodles are super long representing long life and you cut them yourself with the provided scissors.

Authentic flavors with great value for money. The Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup had delicious broth and tender beef. There was a short wait at 12:15pm on a Saturday, but the food came out within 7 minutes after ordering. I’ll be back for more next time I’m in the area.

Couldn’t be more excited that this restaurant opened! My favorite style of noodle soup and the stuffed pita is also amazing. When I studied abroad in Shanghai, I would get this style soup generally 2+ times a week, and another favorite was a small stall that sold the “stuffed pita”. I have been looking for these dishes in the Bay Area ever since, and always had to drive to the South Bay for them. So happy to have an authentic place that is local now!

Really good. Wow. Got the numbing spice general wide noodles and they were absolutely delicious. The cucumber, potato, and wood ear side dishes were also refreshing and flavorful.The highlight was the spicy wontons. Highly recommend.

I haven’t tasted Chinese food like this in over 18 years. I legit teared up and almost cried. I was in Beijing and Hohhot Inner Mongolia for an English summer camp back in my senior year of high school over a decade ago and I miss food like this so much. We’re actually about to go again for the third time in the past 2 1/2 weeks as I’m writing this review.

Noodles were freshly made, have good texture and came in a variety of sizes. Pig ears were flavored well and sliced evenly.Staff was mindful of allergies. Their ordering app had a section where we input our tables food allergies. We’ve been dining here quite often and always get takeouts. Food has been delicious but today my husband got a severe food poisoning from their lamb buns + beef bone noodle. He’s been upset the whole afternoon and throwing up heavily then got high fever for a while… disappointing.

My coworker came here for the first time to try out but we thought would be some great Mandarin food. We didnt enjoy the taste of the food and in fact didnt eat much of our other and opted NOT to take leftovers homeI dont mean to be harsh its just that it all tasted the same and was not good. I eat a lot of different types of Asian cuisine and this particular place just didnt do it for me or my coworker for that matter. The best part of my meal was the Vietnamese milk tea.It was not busy at all even though it was the middle of the day. I dont know what that means but all I know is that we were able to get right in and sit down order and eat without any waiting. The servers were prompt and kind so no issues with that. The low rating is due to the food... specifically the taste. I ordered the beef broccoli.

A hidden gem in the plaza. Located in a small corner, this place gets quite busy but service is good, and the food comes out quickly. Their star are their fresh hand pull noodles ands their soups. Lots of app dish you can share. The cucumber and potato salads are good starters although their spicy beef are good to get your taste buds warmed up. The spicy wonton are standard but their spicy sauce had a perfect blend of spices. Beef soup are hearty and their hand pull noodles are just fabulous.

Came on Mother’s Day around 11am and luckily, we were able to get seated immediately for a party of 6 adults and 2 kids. You scan the QR code on the table, and order yourself.We ordered chili oil flat noodles, spicy pig ears, signature spicy wonton,Lanzhou beef noodle soup, braised beef noodle soup, numb and spicy minced pork noodles, signature beef bone noodle soup, and spicy cold cut beef. The flavors were on point, and they were generous with the potion of noodles they gave for each dish. We shared all the food family style and had a lot leftover.My personal favorites were the spicy wontons, pig ears, signature beef bone noodle soup, and braised beef noodle soup. The broth for the noodle soups definitely hit the spot for me. It was light, yet full of flavor. My family really liked the Lanzhou beef noodle soup and numb and spicy minced pork noodles. Basically, each and every dish we ordered was a hit for the table.The servers were attentive and food was served quickly. I would definitely come back again the next time I’m feeling some beef noodle soup.

The best Lanzhou noodle and Liangpi in Bay Area, second to none. It reminds me of the street restaurant back at home in China. I’m so glad I have access to this food in East Bay where authentic and high quality Chinese restaurants are hard to come by. I love it so much that this is the forth time I visited for a span of just one week. I’m coming back for many more times to come.

100% worth checking out if you like soup and noodles, regardless of cuisine. Theres much to appreciate about Impression of Lanzhous hand pulled noodles that are cooked to perfection and delicious tasting broth.Their noodles are high quality, taste fresh, and have a satisfying chewy motuhfeel. Our party of 4 ordered the regular thin, small flat, and general wide noodles and all were spectacular in their own right. In addition to the yummy noodles, the taste and quality of the signature beef soup was phenomenal. The broth was super clean and packed full of flavor. The signature beef noodle soup comes with 2 beef ribs and the Lanzhou beef noodle soup is served with Chinese braised beef shank and is the signature beef soup with chili oil.The service is great for an authentic Chinese restaurant and our party did not experience any language issues.Overall we are extremely grateful for this newly opened restaurant in Concord that specializes in Northern Chinese cuisine.

We ate lunch there last week and found it quite wonderful and unlike any Chinese restaurant we had ever tried. Particularly good were the signature spicy wontons and the cucumber garlic appetizer, along with “spicy min beef (or maybe pork)”, which was the best thing, and which seems to have disappeared from the Impressions of Lanzhou online menu. The decor and presentation of the restaurant was also very pleasant, and the service was excellent.

The cucumber in garlic sauce was very good. We ordered chicken chow mein and beef chow mein both with thick round noodles. They were very tasty but they were prepared with a lot of oil and were skimpy on the meat. I would go back to try their soup noodles.

Used to be another Chinese place, but this is better. Very friendly wait staff and food comes out fresh. I didnt have to wait 5 minutes for a fork like another reviewer on here that gave it only three stars, good grief. Waiting for 5 mins for a fork is really a first world problem.Dont come here for forks, come here for the killer Chinese food and use chopsticks. Ill definitely be back!

I came here with the rest of the crowd on Saturday night to shelter from the rain My impressions are that this place is gimmicky. You walk in. Scan a qr code. Order online. And random masked people show up and bring you the order. ( theres probably a robot in the back mixing everything because no chef would send out food so bland and under seasoned). The soups are supposed to be broths but it looks like they werent cooked long enough to make broth because it was just watery. The smaller noodles were also without real flavor. My friend got the big thicker noodle in their dish and it was a better quality noodle but their soup was also almost water. My son got one of the burgers with ground meat but it had no seasoning either. If youre gonna make food like this, atleast put an msg shaker on the table so we can get our fix of flavor.

The interior was nice Will natural wood furniture. The service was lacking. I asked our server 5 times for forks and he was distracted with other customers and socializing with a co worker. I finally got up and asked another server for forks since mine was busy. The soup was lukewarm and the meat was chewy. The worst was the seaweed salad which ended up to be kelp.

I’m so happy to have such delicious ramen at my doorstep! I’m too lazy to cook and just walk a few steps. The noodles all taste good. The portions are sufficient. You can add extra meat and eggs for various dishes. I highly recommend the Roujiamo. It tastes authentic. I forgot to take a picture of the cold dishes. They are delicious.

The food is good, the taste is quite authentic and the texture is good. The environment is good, suitable for family and friends gathering, or just for a casual meal alone. However, the service is not complimentary. Maybe I met the wrong person. Todays male waiter made me feel an inexplicable arrogance from the depths of my soul. He seemed to be indifferent, which made me feel full of interest. Fortunately, the boss lady is very nice. I will go there again. I hope I won’t encounter arrogant waiters again. At least we are equal. I don’t pay for my meals, and I don’t buy food to buy looks.

Five stars, absolutely five stars. Whether its the taste or the portion, it deserves five stars. Just to pick one advantage, their Roujiamo buns are freshly baked and crispy. A portion of beef rib noodles comes with two huge beef bones. I have never seen this amount before.

Its really delicious, and the service attitude is also very good. My only comment is that the noodles were stretched in advance and lacked the texture. Its understandable, maybe because there are too many customers and it will be too busy, but the taste is really much worse., hope business is booming~
