People are saying their noodles are pretty good but I wasnt really impressed by the beef noodles I ordered. Gotta give credit where credit is due - the beef was above average, but the rest the bowl were average at best. However, I would highly recommend the Taiwanese fried chicken. Super large portion and tastes awesome. Very good for sharing among friends and family if youre dining as a group. Im lukewarm on revisiting, but still I would be interested in trying out some of their other offerings some time in the future.

An absolutely delightful experience. You get to watch as they put the meat and pinch out the bao or dumplings. We had the crab and pork mix. That was the special kind that has soup inside as well. As well as the condensed milk, buns, fried chicken, and pork and cabbage mix. All of it were great. Good quick service with fast turnaround on the food. Male and female bathrooms.I would absolutely go again. My kids loved it and so did my husband and I.

Dropped in before heading to Moonlight amphitheatre. Good parking situation inside a large retail space (market, bakery, etc).Ordered - Chicken dumplings, Beef noodle soup, and Tomato egg noodleEverything tasted great and the portions were generous. Noodles had a nice chew. Dumplings were good sized with good amount of filling.Beef noodle soup broth was solid for me. Well-balanced, clean broth (not greasy), and full of flavor. One of the best noodle soups in north county.I would recommend it to anyone needing a meal in Vista and hope they stick around for a long time. Having something as good as this in any part of San Diego is special.

As we walked in, none of the staff acknowledged us. Walked up to the counter and the younger male staff handed us a paper menu. The table we sat at was plastic, water in paper cups and was handed plastic forks.Out of everything we ordered, the Taiwanese chicken was the best. The noodles, service and overall experience was not good.

I just tried this place for the first time with my 2 friends from Canada, my grandma and my 2 year old son. We dined family-style, we all scooped food from the larger dishes into smaller plates and everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The dandan noodles were amazing for everyone but my grandma because she cant handle spicy but we loved it. We also had shrimp fried rice, cucumber salad and chicken lo mein and it was a lot of food, we definitely ordered way too much. I also got a big puffy dumpling or something that had pork in it but it wasnt my favorite part of the meal. The homemade egg rolls (maybe they were spring rolls) were incredible! They served us pretty quickly which is really nice when youre dining with a toddler. This restaurant is simple, the staff is very nice and we will definitely be going back soon.

Ordered pork XiaoLongBao, pork chives & shrimp steamed dumplings, Taiwanese fried chicken, beef rolls, sesame & scallion pancake, beef noodle soup, and shrimp fried rice.Highly recommend all of the above.Everything was so good, absolutely zero complaints. Great flavor on everything, the XiaoLongBao’s are bursting with soup, pancake is not dry at all.Even the leftovers after 2 days are still so good.Everything here really is handmade. The dumplings and noodles taste like what my Taiwanese mother would make back home.Usually you get super thirsty after eating Chinese food because they usually put a ton of MSG. I haven’t felt that with the food at this place.Service is straightforward, they will attend to you and give you anything you need.Ton of parking, also great prices! Total came out to be $86 for everything, less than what I expected.Best Chinese food in North San Diego by far. I’ve been searching for authentic Chinese food and I have finally found this place.

We had the Beef Noodle Soup and Pork & Vegetable Bun, and both were very delicious! My young son, who normally is averse to soups, kept asking for more. The noodles were very tender and fresh! Reminds me of the noodles dishes in China and Hong Kong. I’m for sure going back to try the other noodle selections!

Some of the best food I have had in a really long time. The servers were very friendly and attentive. 10/10 would recommend for some of the best noodles and dumplings in Oceanside CA. The Dan Dan noodles were delicious and the homemade kimchi was impressive. If you want good handmade noodles and food this is the place to go.

I was excited since this place says they make their own noodles. Well, the soup dumplings and scallion pancake were really good. Probably the best soup dumplings ive had so far. However, the entrees were alright. We had the Dan Dan Noodles which were pretty good over all. The noodle soups however didnt have much flavor or protein for the price. I wouldnt recommend them. The noodles themselves were thick and springy so it was a plus. Overall, average meal, not sure if id come back.

Service and food were outstanding. We visited this place for the first time yesterday evening. We were a group of four and so we ordered several dishes to try and share. We ordered: cucumber salad, pot stickers, chicken chowmein, shrimp fried rice, pork and vege bun and the most delicious XiaoLongBao. We ALL really loved this meal. The food was flavorful, hot and delicious. Large portions (you will have leftovers).The service was excellent from the time we walked in and were seated, to the suggestions on items to order, the follow up on our needs. Just an oversell great experience.

Get your own water on the left side of the register.Nice size restaurant with a few tables that can accommodate larger parties. I have been to this place twice now and it is terrible. The service is the worst. They serve food in large dishes and dont provide plates. We ordered our food, half the order came out, when we asked about the rest of our order, the waiter argued with us, telling us we got everything we ordered. We asked for the ticket, proved to him we didnt get what we ordered and was so frustrated we canceled the rest. The food is terrible not worth the horrible service experience.

Delicious, fresh noodles and dumplings. Highly recommend the Dan Dan Noodles, the pork and cabbage dumplings, and the Taiwanese Fried Chicken. Service was very quick, and their set up was very sanitary--disposable cups, cutlery and plates, employees were masked and gloved. Will visit again soon!

Best soup dumplings in Vista! The xiaolongbao are delicious. I have been multiple times for both dine in and takeout because the food is so good. You can see the dumplings being hand made and stuffed so you know everything is super fresh. Highly recommend the chow mein and the taiwanese fried chicken to go along side the dumplings.

Excellent dumplings for an excellent price. The restaurant was a little dirty with the table and condiments being fairly sticky and the service wasnt really anything to write home about with you having to self serve water from their counter and the server pretty much just dropping your food off after you fill out the sheet with what food you want. Regardless, the prices and tasty food make this a great place to visit and Ill definitely be coming here again.

Dan Dan noodles was the worst food I’ve ever had. It tastes like dog food. I went with 5 co workers. Not one person liked their food. Two had beef noodle soup and one had dumplings. We will never go there again. Oh yeah, I’ve spent the last hour on the toilet. Not good. Do not eat there. They also served us tap water to drink.

Amazing local Dumpling spot!!! We moved to Vista over a year ago and this has been one of our favorite spots!For two people, we usually spend about $40 and it would would be the equivalent of one appetizer, a side, ans two entrees.The soup Dumplings are aaaaamazing (especially the crab and pork) and the buns are perfectly moist yet firm. Wow, what a hidden gem! Their DanDan Noodles were terrific, soup dumplings, won ton soup, pork dumplings... Everything was wonderful! Ive had soup dumplings at multiple places in San Diego, including Steamy Piggy. I would say neither is better (both were delicious) but definitely different. These soup dumplings came out faster (no 45min wait) and the dough was slightly thicker, but the interior was savory and less salty. Im not sure if theyre hand-made on site, but they sure tasted like they were homemade. Super good!

Definitely one of those places that looks less classy, but if you know, you know. The food makes up for anything people say about unfriendly staff. Just be aware, its run similar to other Asian restaurants where you fill out a paper menu, then pass it back to a server. You wont be bothered by servers throughout your meal -- you have to approach the desk at the end to pay. If youre used to smaller establishments, this is normal, and is a good departure from modern/fancy places where youre bothered every three minutes by staff.The bao buns are to die for -- fluffy and soft, absolutely massive and very filling (much better than other places that offer super small bao). Definitely will be ordering some for take-away another. I got the vegetable and red bean kinds.Additionally, be warned that some options on the menu have meat but dont list it. I ordered the dandan noodle and didnt realize it would have meat (ground pork) -- Im vegetarian so I just avoided that part and gave it to my friend. Otherwise, the noodles themselves are bomb. Again, Im vegetarian, so I cant speak for the meat options. Still, liked what I had and will definitely be coming back to try other veg options I saw; Ill just be sure to ask if theyre definitely meat-free (lol).

Hand pulled noodles, this is the place to get legit house made Chinese food. Beef noodle soup is very very well made. I will need to come back to try the dumpling next time. This is a very hidden gem in North County for very well house made Chinese noodles and dumplings. Service is also very good and restaurant is very clean. So glad to have this so close to my house.

Disappointed!!!!! Everyone in dining area received a cup of water. Not my table, hmmm wondered why?? Its the principal for me. Felt a certain kind of way as I observed the waiter and all the Monster size flies attack my food.. MINIMAL communication from the waiter. I ordered food anyways, because I drove all the way over there for dumplings. The dumplings were not that great....Alot of dough, very little filling. Stopped by Kung Fu Noodle for lunch and was not disappointed.I ordered the traditional xiaolongbao, crab/pork xiaolongbao, and a steamed bun to go and everything was incredible. I only leave reviews when I feel like a place is highly exceptional and this place went above and beyond my expectations regarding the food.I grew up eating legit Chinese food that my grandma made by hand since her childhood. She was an outstanding cook who spent most of her life in China cooking for the entire family (died at age 98). The smells and flavors were exactly the same as those in her kitchen, something I’ve never experienced before at any other restaurant.Hopefully this place stays open for years to come, cause I will be coming back here for the rest of my life.

We grabbed take out and the food is legit. Dumplings were well made, with chewy skin and well-seasoned filling. The Dan Dan noodles were about double the serving size Im used to and extremely tasty. Make sure to grab extra hot sauce if you like your noodles spicy.The only minor disappointment was the beef roll, which needed to be wrapped differently in order to prevent it from getting soggy.Still, an overall awesome experience and a great meal to pair with our mead from Golden Coast.

My oh my! Were DTF, DIN Tai Fung girls, but this came so so so close. Fast service, authentic real Chinese food made easy. We got a pork bun, fried dumplings, pork dumplings, shrimp fried rice, special chow mein.(we ordered way too much) Everything was AMAZING. Some little girls were enjoying watching the Zumu hand press the dumplings and she made them done birds made out of dough. So cute. There is self serve lemon water and they sell canned sodas. But I overlooked that detail because the food was so good. We were skeptical at first because the restaurant was empty but then it got super busy. Glad we found this hidden gem in San Marcos when we dont want to make them journey to UTC. Def recommend!

From Los Angeles, local recommended this spot for dumplings. It brought me back to my childhood growing up in Chinatown. Dumplings were juicy, the green onion pancake was fluffy and tasty, and the dan dan noodles were fresh and flavorful. Noodles and dumplings are made in house, handmade, you can taste the difference. Best authentic Chinese food you can find within 30 miles. The food is fresh, handmade, and traditional. You can tell the chefs and owners put their heart into making excellent Chinese food, not the stuff youd find at Panda Express. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It wasnt clear at all and was insanely sour and didnt taste right. it was tasting a bit old as well and the wrapper did seem a little funky. Everyone here was so nice, huge portions, and probably the best food weve ever eaten. Brought 12 people including 6 young kids and everyone loved everything, even the picky eaters loved their food. We dont live in the area but well definitely come back if we ever find ourselves in the area again.

My husband and I loved this place until we ordered a to go order. Not only was our order wrong but when I called in to ask for our broth they told me I didnt order the soup and argued with me. All I wanted was the broth and the women who answered continued to argue with me and didnt even try to Give me what I requested. Noodles were fast as lightning! My hubster buster and friends were impressed by their home made noodles. Dan Dan noodles were so delightful youll want to do the snoopy dance eating it. There are no wait lines, ordering is by the register counter whenever youre ready, no dessert menu. Give the Chinese scallion or the purple potatoes pancakes a try; equally good as their home made buns.

I’m not even sure the Taiwan chicken was real meat. It was...rubbery? The dan dan noodles tasted like spaghetti noodles with peanut butter slathered on. Probably one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. We visited Kung Fu Noodle House on their Grand Opening Day (4th of July). We were very excited to learn that all of their noodles, steamed dumpling and baos are made from scratch! The XiaoLong Bao is out of this world - in fact it is called XiaoLong Tong Bao because the yummy juice is trapped in the buns - a must try! My son loves the beef noodle soup as it is spicy, yummy home made noodles, and very thick tasty beef broth.We visited again a few weeks ago and took my mom and a family friend. We ordered wonton and vege soup, cold shredded potatoes, steamed vege buns, and the usual (e.g. XiaoLong Tong Bao and Beef Noodle Soup) . All dishes were delicious!Furthermore, wait staff are courteous with prompt service.We are very glad that there is a authentic noodle and dumpling place in our neighborhood. Keep up the good work :)

For North County, its pretty good. But if youve been to Din Tai Fung or visited Taiwan, you may be disappointed. Flavors are there for the most part (especially the XLB and dan dan noodles), but the texture and overall experience were just average.
