2023-07-20 01:36:57The beef noodle soup was good, with well-cooked beef shank and a typical beef soup base. The cumin lamb dried noodle was alright but meats were scanty. The complementary lemonade drink was surprisingly refreshing. Located in a food court next to ranch 99, seatings were spacious but limited. It has the potential if they can ensure the consistent quality of the food and keep the free drink coming up. :)

2022-09-11 22:25:34We were excited at first to try out this Noodle place featuring Chinese noodles: 油泼面,臊子面 etc. However the unpleasant journey started as soon as we took out first bites. We ordered biang biang noodles and1. Noodles are undercooked. The inside is white, which every Chinese knows is a sign of being raw. Plus, a way to test that the noodles are well cooked is one can cut it using chopsticks 🥢, but (in the video) I could not. The texture is like gummy…2. Little respect for food and service is bad. First time, we kindly talked to the stuff saying the noodles need to be cooked longer. They redid our noodles, but still raw and white in side. SECOND time, we showed them the noodles were raw, the purpose was to help them understand the issues and help them do the business better and make better Chinese noodles, therefore benefits every future customer. But the person was impatient saying he’s been doing it for 1 year and this is correct; when suggesting it’s not authentic noodles (no noodles should be raw), he said they were not trying to be authentic..; and he’s not the owner so he can’t do anything but to cook it longer for us. We also tried to get refund and find another place for lunch but were told they don’t know how to do refund... (BTW other people commented about undercooked noodles as well)3. Food safety is concerning. The third time we get the noodles, there was a hair in the soup…Even though, I still appreciate they redoing the noodles twice for us.A separate thought for doing business: Our intention was to help them make better and more authentic Chinese noodles. And the reaction was 1) we’re doing nothing wrong 2) we’re not trying to be authentic 3) I don’t care to improve the business, and I can only cook the noodles longer for you.Every great business is open minded, has a growth mindset and values every customer and that’s what makes a business great. I’d be happy and grateful if I were the business owner/runner and someone provides such feedbacks to me.Though we can’t change anything, but want to share with you the fact of authentic Chinese noodles and our respect to food and maybe help you rethink eating here if you care.

2022-04-23 14:54:09The noodle shop is located inside a food court called Eat Up, next to 99 Ranch Market. Supposedly the food court should have several food stalls but covid took a hard hit and only two are actively open. The 3rd stall sells dessert but I dont see them open often.Ordering: Fairly straightforward, via online or in person at their kiosk. If you order via online, you get to choose between cash or pay in person. You cant pay ahead of time.During my visit, I placed an order at 1130am and was quoted that my order would be ready at 1145am but I didnt get my order until I mentioned it to the staff at 12:15pm. I noticed this single staff with one helper (basically just cooking the noodles) has to whip out a large order all by himself. As I glance over Chicken Meets Rice at the next door stall, they have 4 staffing working and pushing out orders like a machine. I started to question myself if I should have ordered that instead....However, the extra star rating is for that staff member at Noodleosophy who took orders, cooked, and packed, all by himself! 🙌Food: We tried their beef noodles and Chili Garlic noodles with their Ban Ban noodles. Personally the Chili Garlic noodles can benefit a bit of sourness to offset the oiliness of the chili oil. Beef noodles were standard, nothing really stands out. As we are surrounded by so many good beef noodle restaurants, they definitely need to step up their game!Lastly, 4 dumplings with chili oil at $6 is a bit pricey for me. I should not get suck into the convenience and just walk over to 99 and get a bag of frozen dumplings for $5😆.

2023-10-01 05:55:14Delicious vegetable noodles! The broth was very flavorful and you can choose your type of protein. My coworkers also got dumplings here and they all loved it. A great spot for a quick lunch.

2023-09-04 01:25:26The portion is quite generous which I appreciated. I thought the curry noodle soup was quite solid. The soup reminded me of a laksa and the noodles were chewy in a good way. The shaved beef was kind of clumped together, but other than, it was a satisfying bowl of noodles!

2022-07-27 06:36:46Came here on a Sunday night around 8pm, and was intrigued to see Noodleosophy had more customers than usual. You order on a kiosk, which was easy enough and takes Google Pay.I ordered the Pickled Veggie & Pork with ramen noodles and soup, and enjoyed the flavors and the texture of the noodles! If you dine in, they give a free lemon tea which was nice and refreshing - perfect for pairing with the noodle soup! Prices felt decent for the Bay Area.Theres more seating now in this food court, and its still relatively new/clean, as long as you dont mind the half-under-construction look.

2020-10-25 13:59:36And here we go again on our next food journey And this was truly good! I swear. We ordered online and were debating whether we should go delivery or pickup. But we both were too curious as to where this had actually opened, so pickup was the final choice. The drive there, down De Anza was non eventful, felt that the pandemic has certainly brought one thing in check, the impatient bumper to bumper traffic of Cupertino where no one gives the other an inchs space to drive peacefully, or was I just lucky......Will have to go to Noodleosophy again to confirm :-)But the turn into the parking lot is a trifle abrupt, traveling at 35-40 and then you see the small break in footpath and you quickly turn, squealing tires and all.No clear signs as to where it it, since the entire place is still being redone makes a little more, uh, interesting. Finally wife spots a small signage and we parked just across the place and from there we walked into the food court past the shaved ice place was our latest rage - a great hand tossed noodle place.Clean, spacious, newly built, everyone inside following all precautions, I felt very safe getting food from there. But the only part which I knew, but had forgotten about, is that the noodles are to be eaten as soon as they are served. We will keep that for the next time and eat it right there, rather than bring home. And kudos on the to-go packing. Name boldly written in Calligraphic writing, whole bag stapled to ensure no touching post packing made this an instant fav with us.The only thing that was not perfect was that we had to wait for about 3-4 minutes, even though my ordering app said my order was ready for pickup. But that was good in a way, as our order did not wait for us to be picked up and we rushed home to devour one of our best ramen experiences in recent times. And this is what we ordered1. Beef Stew / 紅燒牛肉 for $13.99 which came with broccoli and green onion (Cal. 570) which we ordered with the Ramen Noodles. Freshly handmade, soft chewy goodness and with perfectly seasoned and spiced beef stew we were slurping the beautiful strands until there was non left and then we picked up our bowls and drank the last vestiges of the stew left in them - that heavenly!!.2. Sizzling Garlic / 飄香油潑 for $11.99 which comes with your choice of Noodles topped with sesame, mashed garlic, ginger, bean sprouts and broccoli seared with hot vegetable oil. This is dry dish and comes with the optional pork - wifey wanted and I did not, after all the star in these dishes is the Noodle, I won! We ordered this with the Biang Biang Noodles and for just 375 Cals, we enjoyed one of the best versions of the flat hand ripped noodles that we have ever had! Getting hungry for them again even as I write about our experience..3. Dumplings(Boiled/Fried) / 紅油抄手f, 4 pieces for $5.99. We got the Boiled dumplings that comes with vinegar and chili oil and for 229 Cals, clearly a perfect accompaniment to our order. Perfectly cooked and very tastefully spiced filling that stood out from the the very appetizingly good chili oil drizzle. Could not ask for a better deal!Overall, an amazing food experience and good value for the quality and taste, but feltportions were a trifle small.Well, will let the photos do the rest of the explanation! But do visit this place and experience excellent hand tossed noodles that you have come to expect in this part of the Bay Area!

2022-07-27 07:00:36I was pretty skeptical of trying Noodleosophy after reading some of the reviews here about bland tasting noodles, but I decided to give it a try for dinner and would definitely come back again.I ordered the beef stew with ramen for dine-in and it was really tasty! I also really enjoyed the lemon tea that came with the meal for dining it, very refreshing and a great balance to the soup. I haven’t tried the fresh wide Biang Biang noodles and maybe will report back next time, but the ramen noodles were *chef’s kiss*

2023-09-29 05:42:34Waited 30 minutes for my order, and then was told they were sold out of my order and I could either eat this random dish they were going to hand me, or I could get a refund. I asked for the refund and the staff told me they couldnt actually handle the refund and I had to leave my phone number so they could call their manager (who wasnt on site) to handle the refund. No other compensation was offered for the 30 minutes I waited.Whole time I was waiting, they were constantly handing out orders to pickup/delivery orders. If they wanted to be an online order shop, maybe dont have an onsite location when they clearly cant handle the workload? No idea how the food is because I never got anything to eat from them and I dont plan on waiting again. Oh yeah, and right outside their store front is this doll claw catcher machine that plays awful cheap music which further added to my annoyance during my whole wait for nothing.

2023-08-26 05:13:20The beef stew with wide noodles was delicious, with a hint of spices and the noodles soaking a lot of the flavor. I just think that the wait time was way too big for a noodle place.
