QQ Noodle
10889 S Blaney Ave, Cupertino, CA 95014, United States
They serve 刀削麵 (knife cut noodles), which are a slightly rarer variety of chinese noodle. However, the noodles feel is very satisfying. I got the beef noodle soup, specifically the regular version, since they also have a 濃湯 (thick soup) version. I highly recommend this place. Also, service isnt bad (a plus for an asian restaurant). Just note, it is cash only!

Duan Chun Zhen Noodle House
10118 Bandley Dr Suite H, Cupertino, CA 95014, United States
It feels like a nice restaurant in Taiwan inside. Chic and modern inside, clean, and has competent and friendly staff. Id continue to come here because its a pleasant place to meet with friends indoors. The beef noodle and chicken noodle were on the bland side for my Thai husband as there isnt much acidity but the flavor profile was familiar to the Taiwanese dishes I grew up with so I found them homey, though not particularly remarkable. The minced pork over rice dish was pretty good though!Tip: if you dont like spiciness from Chinese numbing spice, dont get spicy dishes here.

Noodleosophy Cupertino
10445 S De Anza Blvd #102, Cupertino, CA 95014, United States
And here we go again on our next food journey And this was truly good! I swear. We ordered online and were debating whether we should go delivery or pickup. But we both were too curious as to where this had actually opened, so pickup was the final choice. The drive there, down De Anza was non eventful, felt that the pandemic has certainly brought one thing in check, the impatient bumper to bumper traffic of Cupertino where no one gives the other an inchs space to drive peacefully, or was I just lucky......Will have to go to Noodleosophy again to confirm :-)But the turn into the parking lot is a trifle abrupt, traveling at 35-40 and then you see the small break in footpath and you quickly turn, squealing tires and all.No clear signs as to where it it, since the entire place is still being redone makes a little more, uh, interesting. Finally wife spots a small signage and we parked just across the place and from there we walked into the food court past the shaved ice place was our latest rage - a great hand tossed noodle place.Clean, spacious, newly built, everyone inside following all precautions, I felt very safe getting food from there. But the only part which I knew, but had forgotten about, is that the noodles are to be eaten as soon as they are served. We will keep that for the next time and eat it right there, rather than bring home. And kudos on the to-go packing. Name boldly written in Calligraphic writing, whole bag stapled to ensure no touching post packing made this an instant fav with us.The only thing that was not perfect was that we had to wait for about 3-4 minutes, even though my ordering app said my order was ready for pickup. But that was good in a way, as our order did not wait for us to be picked up and we rushed home to devour one of our best ramen experiences in recent times. And this is what we ordered1. Beef Stew / 紅燒牛肉 for $13.99 which came with broccoli and green onion (Cal. 570) which we ordered with the Ramen Noodles. Freshly handmade, soft chewy goodness and with perfectly seasoned and spiced beef stew we were slurping the beautiful strands until there was non left and then we picked up our bowls and drank the last vestiges of the stew left in them - that heavenly!!.2. Sizzling Garlic / 飄香油潑 for $11.99 which comes with your choice of Noodles topped with sesame, mashed garlic, ginger, bean sprouts and broccoli seared with hot vegetable oil. This is dry dish and comes with the optional pork - wifey wanted and I did not, after all the star in these dishes is the Noodle, I won! We ordered this with the Biang Biang Noodles and for just 375 Cals, we enjoyed one of the best versions of the flat hand ripped noodles that we have ever had! Getting hungry for them again even as I write about our experience..3. Dumplings(Boiled/Fried) / 紅油抄手f, 4 pieces for $5.99. We got the Boiled dumplings that comes with vinegar and chili oil and for 229 Cals, clearly a perfect accompaniment to our order. Perfectly cooked and very tastefully spiced filling that stood out from the the very appetizingly good chili oil drizzle. Could not ask for a better deal!Overall, an amazing food experience and good value for the quality and taste, but feltportions were a trifle small.Well, will let the photos do the rest of the explanation! But do visit this place and experience excellent hand tossed noodles that you have come to expect in this part of the Bay Area!

Ox 9 is a classic chinese noodle restaurant that serves all types of noodles from soup based, to stir fried, with a variety of thin, thick, round, up to 6 different choices. The servers are pretty attentive and will always refill your water without asking and the food comes out pretty fast. Menu’s are via scanning from a QR code and is easy to order online. But you pay in person instead of doing it via onlinezPlenty of seats but there might be a wait at high times.Parking lot is also kinda small but the lot next door/ residential down the street has availability as a last resort.Would recommend if you need a noodle fix!

10445 S De Anza Blvd Unit 105, Cupertino, CA 95014, United States
Newly opened place currently offers a discount of 20%, located inside the eat up! @ranch 99 market. Priced at $14.99 per pound, the spicy hot pot 麻辣燙doesnt come with rice, while the spicy dry pot 麻辣香鍋includes free rice. The self-serve area provides beverages 檸檬山楂汁and sauces.Opted for Szechuan pickled cabbage soup base 天府酸菜清湯and green peppercorn soup base 川香藤椒湯底; they strike a good balance without being too overpowering. However, meat cutting and kitchen preparation take a bit of time. Its advisable to arrive early to avoid a long wait; otherwise, your order might be delayed until the fish reaches room temperature before its your turn.Plenty of seats, with parking available outside.

Liangs Village
20530 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014, United States
We were recommended this place by our fellow Yelp/Foodie friend and who doesnt ever crave for a hot bowl of beef noodle soup? As we were a large party, we were unable to make reservations and had to wait. Luckily, it was probably around a 20-30 minute wait so it wasnt too bad. They have an extensive menu that also crosses over to desserts and drinks. I almost wished that we hadnt planned to go to another spot for drinks/dessert because their selection seemed pretty good as well. Not sure if its because its Northern California, particularly the Cupertino area, but the prices were definitely not as competitive or forgiving as compared to prices youd find in the Southern California SGV area. Dont be scared by the higher price point, because they do deliver with the quality of their ingredients and portion size. We were all fairly happy with our choices and even wished there was a location in Orange County.|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Located in the same plaza as Sprouts, TJ Maxx, Starbucks and more!-Cross Streets are Stevens Creek Blvd and S De Anza Blvd.-Probably difficult to find a close spot, but there are plenty of spots in the plaza if you dont mind the extra steps. Id say the parking is hassle free.|| F O O D ||Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup ($19.00) - I was skeptical about ordering this due to the higher price point, but I was craving beef noodle soup, so what the heck. Got to get the wide noodles to have that authentic beef noodle experience! As soon as I sipped on the broth, I knew we had a winner right here. Also, Im someone who always wishes there was more protein in my bowl of noodles, but in this case, it felt like I had a never ending supply of beef chunks. Yes, please keep it coming haha. If you really wanted to, two people could split this, but Im a fatty so I took the leftovers home for myself. If youre not too hungry for noodles but still want the broth and beef chunks, they have that option as well.Beef Pancake Wrap ($15.50) - Cant order a beef noodle soup without a beef pancake wrap. So darn delicious. Crispy on the outside and just the right amount of thinly sliced beef and sauce on the inside. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could order one for myself.Spicy Pig Ears ($11.75) - Found out my friend likes pig ears too so we ordered one to share. They were not kidding about the spiciness. It was so good that we had to slow down because the mala spiciness was starting to kick in. Although pricey for what it is, Id still recommend it.Spicy Red Oil Mini Wonton ($12.75) - Note that these are mini wontons and not the gigantic ones you usually see at most restaurants. These were good but nothing really special to me. I think it could have used more chili oil for more of that spicy kick.

Visited this casual Chinese restaurant for their $12 lunch box, which includes two dishes and a starch (rice, fried rice, or fried noodles). The food, which seemed more northern or Sichuan style Chinese, was satisfactory but quite greasy. A downside was the limited lunch selection available by 1:30 PM. Good for a budget-friendly Chinese meal (although there are other Chinese lunch places nearby where you can get 3-4 dishes in your bento lunch box with rice for $2-3 more), but best to go earlier for more choices.

Capt Loui

We came here for the weekday lunch specials. Even though a lot of them were very tempting, the $11.95 Cajun pasta, $10.95 seafood poboy with fries, I had to get the seafood boiler for my first time, but I definitely have my eye on the fried basket special for next time. The $14.99 seafood boiler includes your choice of 2 types of seafood, one side, and one can of soda. I recommend the mussels; they were huge. The garlic noodles were well-seasoned and a decent size for a side. The food came out fast and the service was friendly. They provide the necessities like gloves, bibs, mints, and mouthwash in the bathroom. The whole place was very comfy and less hectic than most seafood boiler places. They do have a decent selection of beer and soju though, and a cardboard cutout of Jennie.I saw on their napkin holder that they had a promotion going on: if you write a review for them, you can get free funnel fries or beignets.Since my mom is a big fan of funnel cakes, we went for the former. The fries format makes it so much easier to eat and it came with two scoops of ice cream. It came out hot and perfectly oily. The server was trusting enough to get it in the fryer for us before I finished typing this review.

Sweet Maple
20010 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014, United States
We stopped by for brunch today around noon. Not surprisingly, it was very busy, and there was a 1 hr wait in the scorching sun. We got the omurice and avocado croffle, which were both very good. I also got a mimosa to decompress from the crazy encounter we had while waiting in line (see below for details). Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. However, Im not sure that well be back given the long wait times and crazy parking situation. Now for the story...As this was our first time there, we didnt realize how tiny the parking lot was. We were lucky to find a space, but there was a girl standing in the way. We motioned for her to move, and she motioned back and said something while continuing to talk on her phone, mainly ignoring us. My husband then got out of the car and asked her to move. She said she was holding the space. My husband told her that she cant do that, and she should move before the car hits her (probably couldve chosen better words). She finally moved after that and we parked. However, a while later, they got in line behind us, and her husband started accusing mine of threatening his wife. While my husband probably couldve been more diplomatic, calling that a threat is a wild exaggeration. Things got a bit heated, but ultimately we decided to say sorry and let it go. The husband was relatively reasonable, but the girl refused to say sorry and insisted that she did nothing wrong and that she found the parking spot first. Another stranger chimed in, and he and I both told my husband to ignore her, given how unreasonable she is. Lo and behold, she started getting into an argument with that stranger (who are you? whats your problem?), and the strangers wife had to hold him back too. Its honestly a little comical recapping the situation, but it wasnt funny at the time. Luckily, we were able to separate from her and cool down. Even after we separated, I could faintly hear her telling her husband in Chinese, why should I apologize?Im writing this because I hope that Chinese couple or their friends will read this post.To the aggressive, entitled, and shameless girl who continued to deny that she did anything wrong: I only wish I googled this earlier so that I couldve told you this in person - its not only rude but in fact illegal to stand in a parking spot: San Francisco Police spokesman Officer Samson Chan affirms that standing in a parking spot and waving off rightful parkers because youve saved it is a violation of California Vehicle Code 21954(a).To the well-intentioned but misguided husband: Kudos to you for trying to stand up for your wife, but just know that it isnt always the right thing to do if your wife is an unreasonable person. I hope you understood the look that I gave you at the end of the encounter, which meant now you can see who the real problem is in this situation. And if you stand there and do nothing to call out the problem, even if that problem is your wife, then youre just enabling it.To Sweet Maple: thanks for providing a good dining experience. In particular, kudos to the hostesses who accommodated our request to be seated as far from this problem couple as possible. However, given the challenging parking situation, it might be helpful to put up some signs reminding patrons that they are not allowed to stand and hold parking spots. This could help to prevent future conflicts. Thanks for your consideration.

A very affordable Chinese restaurant with decent quality. Their menu is relatively simple with noodle, and other simple dishes. Their comb plates come with soup or drink, pretty good deal.
