2023-11-25 06:41:30The shrimp here werent fresh and carried an off-putting smell. Considering its an All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) spot, the price is reasonable. However, for those like me who cant eat much, the limited choices might leave you wanting more. Its not my go-to place, but still worth a try if youre looking for an affordable AYCE option.

2023-10-29 18:46:07Well, partner, let me tell yall bout this hidden gem called Ohgane Korean BBQ in Oakland, California. First off, this place is like lookin for a needle in a haystack, cause the entrance aint on the street side. You gotta play hide and seek with that door, but trust me, its worth the hunt. Now, when it comes to parkin, they got it locked down like Fort Knox, complete with a security guard watchin over your precious steaks. No need to fret bout your ride, amigo.I reckoned Id be waitin for ages on a Saturday night, but they got this nifty check-in system that shoots you a text message when your tables ready. Now, thats what I call smokin efficiency. Now, the grub, for just 44 bucks a head, its a downright steal. The brisket, let me tell ya, its sliced thinner than a rattlesnakes fang, makin it easier than pie to grill up to perfection. The pork belly? Oh, my stars and garters! They got more seasonin choices than a cowpokes got boots, and its melt-in-your-mouth tender. That bulgogi, too, its sliced as thin as the last straw in a tumbleweed, makin it a breeze to cook up.But heres the kicker, partner – the sides. From cheesy corn to French fries in a Korean BBQ joint, well, thats like findin a unicorn in a rodeo. They sure know how to keep you on your toes. Now, when it comes to service, theyre quicker than a hiccup. Theyre at your table faster than a jackrabbit on a hot skillet, bringin your orders in a jiffy. And lets not forget the drinkin options – Korean beer and soju, its like theyre sayin, Yall just relax and enjoy the ride. The place itself, its big as a prairie, so you wont be squished like a sardine in a can. Now, let me leave you with this one, partner: youll be smellin like BBQ for weeks after hittin up Ohgane Korean BBQ, and trust me, thats a good thing! Yeehaw!

2023-05-24 02:09:52We went there with a,large group of 15 to 20 people. It was a group of online friends meeting for the first time. The organizer was delayed and things got a bit confusing for our servers. They managed to work everything out for us and were really troopers about it.The food was pretty food. We had a very tasty Korean pancake (pajeon) and bibimbap. One of the bibimbap had a lot of fat, but the other one was great. They gave us a bottle of watermelon soju, which was very nice. Overall it was a good experience.

2023-08-09 15:20:41My old pay Rosewood Blankskacker was in town for a Hurrly Winzip Tournament at the Oakland Colosseum and had a day off before the finals, so he called me to critique his form and grab a bite to eat. I dont know why I need to critique his play because hes the number 4 player in all of Asia. And the food....Ohgane Oakland Restaurant was his first choice for Korean BBQ and what a great surprise it was, the food was amazing! I love Korean BBQ and all the aromas coming from the grills will light up your senses. 5 stars. ☆☆☆☆☆

2023-09-04 18:04:45The server refuses to seat us at a table with 2 grills. Had the audacity to ask us to pay for an extra persons all you can eat price to seat us at a table with two grills. Imagine 7 people cooking on 1 grill. By the way there were open tables. They told us all of the opens are reserved when we kept pressing. Why even suggest us to pay for an invisible person in the first place if you dont have open tables? Greed. Anyway we ate our whole meal slowly with 1 grill. Those tables remained open the entire time. Not to mention we order tons of sides dishes and alcohol. Food was good but service from the host was trash. Server was good. Place was so loud you have to scream to communicate across the table.Would not go again consider there are plenty of good Korean BBQ in the Bay area.

2023-09-04 02:05:42I got a take out order: 2 bulgogi and a tofu soup. The portion amount you get for $36 bulgogi is way too small. I guess dining in is better, personally I will never get take out again, I feel ripped off.

2022-07-21 17:12:25Tried seafood pancakes, beef bimbimap, chicken sushi, pork bbq with Korean glass noodles. It’s nice, but could be better in terms of flavor and quantity. Quantity is pretty less compared to other Korean restaurants in the same level as theirs. Good customer service. There’s parking too.
