The owners and managers are pretty bad. Double check your receipt and make sure you are getting what you paid for. The regular staff is always friendly and do their best which isnt easy considering their bosses. The food is good for reheated frozen products. Portions at this location are getting smaller and smaller. I gave it a 3 because Ive seen them get food from rejected plates and throw it back into the serving bowls.Again, please make sure you are paying for what you ordered. On more than one occasion ive been charged for 3 entrees when I only chose 2. This location has gotten pretty bad in the last 2 years and Ive ditched it altogether. Ild rather drive a little further to get something better.

Always fresh and tasty food. I dined in and I didn’t see any hand sanitizer. I really wish they’d have some. The place was clean though, and the staff is really friendly!

Ordered delivery for the family meal. Only recieve two entrees and 3 sides. Fried rice is not orange chicken. They arent checking the orders going out the door. Not the first time this happened to me. Items missing. Completely wrong persons order delivered.3 bad experiences.

Three entree meal third was in tiny box with mostly giant broccoli and a tiny amount of beef. I order kung pow chicken all the time but today I was choking on it. Not sure why but not consistent at all. Third my noodles were so full of cabbage that there were hardly any noodles. Very disappointing. Shanghai beef was tender this time though. Last time i ordered from Santee location and my entrees were tough and dried out.

So went for a delivery pick up and of course it wasnt ready. It was 9 on a Friday so no surprise But the cashier said they were waiting on egg rolls. So i waited over 15 minutes but I noticed her and another female worker looking up at me snickering about something. The manager finally comes over and asked if I had an online order. I told him the name and he grabs it for me off the shelf. So those two workers knew the order was ready but wasnt going to tell me. So needless to say I declined to take it. But im not surprised from that kind of treatment from trashy people in Lakeside. Will never deliver from this location again

Its always a challenge to stand in line for several minutes up to about 20 minutes to just get food while they are busy inside fulfilling online orders, but it is conveniently located Im very glad there is one this far east in El Cajon.conveniently located at the Caminito Canada shopping center next to Walmart next door to Subway and so many other shopping venues nearby.get there within 30 minutes of closing and I should still have all the ingredients that you need for what you expect from Panda express!thats my daughters favorite food and its my go-to place when I need to get back in good with my 13-year-old.would you just stop it with the crunch of the broccoli and a final two of the beef and the beautiful molasses sauce that it soaks in.would you just stop it with the orange chicken sitting alongside some chow mein.would you just stop it with the almond shrimp dipped in hot Mandarin sauce testing and tempting your palate to just be burnt and ruin your night---hells to the bells know give it a couple blows and enjoy this crunchy delight.

I ordered online and had to wait when I got there - waiting was not the issue at all, I’ve worked food service! The employees don’t control how busy it gets, and they were working had to get everyone their food! But my servings were tiny!! I had just one bowl of chowmein and walnut shrimp, and i had more celery/lettuce than noodle, and about 4 shrimp. I would gladly wait a couple extra minutes to get full size servings! Since I ordered online, I had no idea until I got home. I like panda express, but I may not go back to this one.

Good & tasty, the quickest, freshest Chinese food choices you can find especially as you head home from a long day at work. The only observation I have is that my total on my check does not explain why I was charged $2 more for a 2 item 1 side combo which on the menu states - $6.89+ ?? The staff at the front is no help at questions as they just want to rush you out, no proper hospitality training obviously. I will ask before I order next time & make sure they understood what I want.

I have to give this store 5 stars, even tho I didnt feel completely impressed at first. Heres why...We walked in after 6 on a Friday evening. The store was busy, not packed, and even tho every employee in there was busy doing something, they still saw us enter and there was that familiar greeting, Hi! Welcome!The food bar looked pretty low on supply, but it was still kept clean and the food servers were still friendly and accommodating! I had tried the Beijing Beef on my last visit and liked it! So when I saw that it was low I was a little disappointed. But the friendly server reassured me that it would be ready by the time we reached the register. She was right! I asked if they had been busy, pointing out the low supply, and the girl told me they had been non stop for the past four hours!So... Five stars for a group of young adults, working hard So I didnt have to, Staying friendly through the chaos, and keeping the facility clean through it all!

It seems like every employee thats ever had the displeasure of serving me at this location hates their job. They clearly need someone to organize which customers need to be served. My most recent visit included myself and 8 other customers piling up in a line while pickup order customers continued to enter the store and deplete the currently cooked food. After 20 minutes of no movement at 7:30pm on a Sunday, we had to leave and search elsewhere for food. This has been my 4th attempt at trying to give this location another chance but I just cant rationalize returning. I hope they can find employees who want to work here.

Im not really a big fan too much salt for me but my granddaughter loves it she just loves the orange chicken so whenever I can I take her there or at least find out whether they have the vegan menu in the areas of the pandas near me she eats the chicken but her mother only likes the vegan or non meat issues so theres not a lot of them but some of them do actually have the entrees with non meat God bless you all and have a great day

I have enjoyed this new location five times with my three daughters. I always get two three item plates, and it has been more than enough to feed the whole family. The customer service here is great!It lost a star today unfortunately. I brought the meal home and the black pepper chicken tasted like dish soap (everything else was excellent). I had always been a little embarrassed to ask for more than one sample, but I will from now on.

Were very happy that we have a Panda Express right near our home... The only issue is when I arrive, the favorites are often empty... Theyre nice about making fresh entrees, but I just wish they would have it all ready. Its a busy location, so I cant imagine anything going to waste...Please cook enough food so that I dont have to stand there waiting.

I get the feeling that the employees get overwhelmed and distracted when it gets busy here. The guy helping me started putting the lid on my teriyaki chicken without asking if I wanted sauce on it. I had to ask for it. He did apologize though. Then after getting home with my food I noticed that I didnt get my fortune cookie. Not a super big deal, but hey, I like my fortune cookie. Id actually give them 4-1/2 starts instead of 4. The food is good.

Online ordering is ALWAYS such a mess, our orders get pushed to the side. We waited over 20 minutes for our online order while three large families walked in, ordered, and were out the door before they even started prepping our food. Food quality is starting to be extremely disappointing and not up to par with other locations and staff are extremely rude. Horrible all around.

We always have a very positive experience. The food is always great and freshly cooked. The staff is very friendly and patient. If we have to wait for food to cook they have offered a free drink as a thank you for waiting. Whomever is the manager has certainly hired and trained fantastic people to work there. As usual the foods were tasty & flavorful; but the quantity of foods that are placed in the styrofoam box is Not always the same that it seems it depends on the person scooping & putting them in the styrofoam box that there are times the chow mein food looks generous enough & also there are times it is only 2 or 3 table- spoonfuls & each different food is 1 tablespoonfuls.And upon paying we get asked for donation that never ends.It is like we bought little bits of foods samples to taste and before leaving we get asked to donate money.The usual old chubby lady cashier does Not smile nor greets the customers; she looks like what only matters is receiving payments & donations from the customers & Not also the customers satisfaction of buying the good foods we wish of fairly good quantity.

Our order had several mistakes. The teriyaki chicken had no teriyaki sauce, it was just plain. The mushroom chicken had very little chicken & was a very small serving. We ordered 6 spring rolls & got 2. The request was for half a dozen so not sure how they interpreted that as 2. They rang up half the order & when that was brought to their attention they disputed their error but they did cancel order & rang up the correct amount. Wow, what a way to do business!

Very bad service, I ordered online for pickup when I got there my order was missing. Someone stole my order, they didnt even know who took it. So I showed them my phone with the confirmation number. They where looking at me like if I took it . They made me another order it took them like 15 min, didnt say anything else to me I just waited. Its kind of lame, because the whole point of us ordering ahead is to walk in, pick it up, and leave...My pickup time was 8:40.
