Food was fresh and hot and tasty. The place just looks like any fast food restaurant. It was crowded but staff was apologetic when some of the entrees ran out and they were busy my asking more. Wait time was only about 5 min.

Horrible Customer Service. I ended up waiting for more than 30 minutes for super greens, which is ludicrous. Then when they get some push back about making us wait even longer, they try making it seem like were the problem. All the night time employees were hanging around standing doing nothing but talking and flirting horribly with each other. And one of the few employees cleaning the bathrooms walked over to the food and starting touching the food inside the trays with her unwashed hands. Truly a disgusting Panda Express location. Steer clear. NOT WORTH.

She gave me an ugly look. Literally threw the food like in a garbage can. small portions: smaller than standard: just a kittle bit of entries covered with chow main like a toping. Two entries with chow mein looked like a messy one item. kept re- asking the same question over and over. She said if I complained it will bring more customers to the business. It was late I didnt want to make a show. Awful experience.

So, this place used to be great, I wonder what happened. Many times the drive thru has been rude because I check my food before I drive away. Well when I dont check it I get burned double teriyaki chicken. This is not a double portion and its inedible. So disappointed.

_ im a OTR truck driver & travel everywhere in U.S & made numerous stops for Panda Express also_ this is ONLY store that Ive been OVERCHARGED 3 times. WHY??1) this is 3rd time cashier over charged me.2) spoke with a hispanic store manager who wore a Military Army kind T-shirt, but im told a simple mistake because that cashier is new3) instead of refund my money that Ive got ripped off, manager insisted me to take a mini box item (No Refund Store Policy? Make More Sale?) Ive got mini box of fried rice.4) i also asked cashier to close plastic cover tight on teriyaki sauce, because cap sometimes open & makes bad mess. It opened again right after cashier handed a bag to me (see picture taken inside Panda Express store. maybe this store dont like Asian customer?)

Went today 3/19/21. 20min wait for chow mein, 20 min wait for steamed vegetables, got charged individually for sides cause they didn’t want to put it as a plate (suppose to be two plates), and had to ask for utensils and sauces. This place use to be On Point. I’ll just look for a different Panda Express to go to. Food quality gone down also, barely any flavor and rice is way to firm. It’s just edible.

My 4yr old son and I went by the drive thru this evening around 5:15pm... Melanie was working the window and she was VERY polite, (they were out of the kids meal box, but that will happen🤷🏼‍♀️) not only was our food so FRESH and perfectly made, but the serving size was better than I expected♡!!♡ my green beans had great flavor and a nice flavor crisp crunch... just overall taken aback by how well they did from Melanies customer service to the food quality and how they worked so well together... this was a GREAT quick and easy dinner after a long day.

My partners orange chicken didnt look like the one from their website looks kinda burnt however he still ate it and his Wok Steak and Shrimp had 3 Shrimps 2 pieces of steak and the rest veggies LOL. My Teriyaki chicken and walnut shrimps were just perfect as always.

They mess up my order every time. They had to have us pull around and park because they were out of the beef item my husband ordered. Then they proceeded to give us the brown rice instead of fried rice, helped 3 ppl who walked in ordering the same item before making our order we had been waiting for. We could see them the whole time laughing and joking with each other taking their time to make and bring our food without any of the sause or utensils we had asked for and half of the order was wrong anyway.

This panda offers a drive through which is a super bonus! Only downside is because you can’t see them doing it, sometimes your order is wrong. Food is always delicious, though! We get about a half and half mix of nice vs rushed/semi-ride employees every time we go. We visit this location every time we come to Palm Springs though and the food has been consistently good!

The food is decent. Never really had an issue with the food. The chow mein has become really bland, but the chicken and beef dishes are really what we come for. Some of the staff at this specific location have terrible customer service skills. My expectations are not very high at all. This is fast food. Tonight was just ridiculous. Im sorry if youre tired and didnt want to work. I work full time with the public too. I was there to pick up dinner for my family. Because of this incident and the employees attitude, I drove 3 blocks up the road to a locally owned sushi place. The customer service there, even through their busy time, was impeccable. They serve non-sushi items as well and will now receive my continued business. I do not recommend this place at all.

Update 2022-09-12:Still very good. One of the two combo plates were filled generously while the other was quite meager portions. But food was good.Probably one of the best Panda Express I have been to. Plenty of freshly wok-cooked food. Fast, efficient service. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Plenty of parking. Easy to get in and out being a the NE corner of Date Palm and Ramon. Definitely a place Ill come back to soon!

Fernando at the drive through interrupted me twice while I was in the middle of ordering to ask me whether I’m getting chow main or friend rice. He kept speaking over me while I was telling him, if he gave me a chance to speak he would have heard. Then he asked me “if I want to donate to the childrens hospital” I said no thanks, and he said “you don’t even want to round up your change?” in a rude tone. And I said “no thanks?” If someone declines it’s unnecessary to ask again and ask in a demeaning manor. I volunteer my time at a Children’s hospital, I do not need to be shamed for not wanting to donate every time I come here. Poor service.

My husband and I came into this store the other day. I was waiting for my husband to use the restroom then I saw one of the staff members wearing gloves and touching her eye. She continued to scratch her eye near her eyeliner while talking to another associate. Then she got napkins and windex to clean the windows by the prepared food. She never changed her gloves then to top it off after she was helping me get my food. I was praying she didnt touch my food. I asked her for a side of spring rolls and she proceeded to get ragoons into a bag. I saw the food touching her gloves as they went in I was like oh no...thats so gross.

The staff was so welcoming and friendly even in the midst of a catastrophic rush they were all able to remain cool and collected and keep their composure. Especially Fernando and Marlene. Their generosity came as a mirage out of the desert. As Panda Express appeared to me as a mirage out of the desert to break the monotony of a long road trip. Reuniting with old friends is always a pleasure and it leaves you wondering…How had I gone a whole F**king year without eating Panda Express?!

This Panda location needs help. This is not our first time here and not our first issue. First of all we placed a online order it said order would be ready by 7:15 pm. When we arrive at 7:20 our food isnt ready. We wait another 12 minutes and finally get our food at 7:32pm. Then we had asked for soy sauce and sweet and sour and nothing was inside the bag. So my husband asks the employee for the sauce and complete attitude and drops a variety of sauces in the bag that my husband was holding. We get home and the order wasnt right asked for Kung pao chicken and was given the steak. After waiting so long I would think the order would be right. Due to the lack of customer service, having a extra 17 minute wait for our food and the order being incorrect we will not return here.

Worst experience at a drive thru ever! They charged me twice for 2 different items. They also got my order wrong and gave me the wrong thing. They made me drive around and wait for my order, then came out with only 1/2 my order. It was easy to know because part of what they forgot was my drink, so I obviously checked everything closely. She then got what was missing and took my card and charged me. When I looked at the receipt I realized I was charged multiple times for 2 of the items. The food was very cold because of how long this all took. I then tried to call to speak to a manager, but no one answers the phone and it just hangs up on you. I tried to call the number on the back of the receipt for the survey, but its been cancelled. Now I have to go all the way back to straighten this out. I will not be going back. Theres another Chinese Restaurant in this shopping center...Id rather go there!

I didn’t think I had to add anything to this but Melanie should be less judgmental when asking someone if we want to donate. And we don’t, we don’t no need to ask again and again.And give people a chance to think about it if they want something more. Don’t keep repeating “is that it” all over and over. I would of said yes to donating but when you don’t give me a chance to think about wether if I want to add to my order or not I’m gonna say no to donating or even engaging woth you.Aside from the burnt chicken for my chicken teriyaki and the burnt chow mein, I didnt appreciate asking the cashier to give me fresh soy sauce from the food bar instead ofhanding me those packages of soy sauce. She reached reached over the drive through counter top and handed me cold sauce. I didnt like her attitude and the fact she was too lazy to go over the food bar thats less than 10ft away. Next time Ill go to the one in PS. Theyre more organized. Less attitude and no burnt food . Her name was Mayda S…. Very small portions served not worth the money. Normally I do not have complaints about this Panda location in Cathedral City. But today in the drive thru, ordered a good amount of food. Was told it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait for rice. And was told it would be brought out once ready. 35 minutes later I went inside. Another 10 minutes waiting to be helped, then im told sorry the machine is not working. So Ive waited 45 minutes for something that is not coming. Very irresponsible and a total waste of my familys time. Never going back, Ill spend my money elsewhere.

Its clean and the food is always fresh here. The only negative thing I can say is that online ordering for pick-up, and the drive through are oddly slow. If you want to eat Panda at home, run in, order and run out. Thats the fastest way to get what youre after. Other than that, the location makes it a quick stop for good Chinese food.

This is the absolute worst Panda Express in the Desert! As someone who used to work at Panda Express in Palm Springs as a Shift Leader for years, I am embarrassed for this location and embarrassed to even say I used to work for the company. Panda expects such HIGH standards when this location has extremely LOW standards. I only eat from this location because it is close by to my house. The past 4/5 times I have eaten here during Covid-19, my order has been either undercooked or I’ve received the wrong items. Tonight was crossing the line which is why I am writing the review. I ordered a plate with half and half & double honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken. My husband ordered half and half with honey walnut shrimp, teriyaki chicken and broccoli beef. When ordering through drive though he asked to please make sure the order is correct and noodles are fully cooked since those are the usual issues. He got home and was missing two entrees and noodles were BURNT. Not even just a little over cooked but totally burnt. He tried calling the location 4 times with no answer before he decided to drive back. He talks to the manager Jiovanni who said he would make sure the items were correct. After he got home, the orange chicken was cooked with pepper steak sauce instead. Tried to call the location another few times with no answer. I drove back to the location only wanting the correct item and I was told “we can’t give free items out” after THEY were the one who provided me with the wrong items multiple times. I am baffled at the lack of customer service and the fact that food is constantly not being cooked properly. This place needs new management and new hires who are willing to do their job correctly. NEVER EAT HERE ANYONE!! If I could give 0 stars, I would!

Astonishingly good customer service. I was greeted promptly after the customer in line ahead of me finished ordering. I only wanted a three piece shrimp. The order taker asked if I was willing to wait while it was cooked. I said yes. I then moved to the cashier to pay. Once having paid, Leslie held out a cup and asked if Id like a drink while I waited. I said YES! Thank you!!

My Grandchildren have been bugging me for Panda for a while now and Ive been steadily refusing their wishing because of my previous experiences at this Panda Express.I broke down today and decided to try them again.Well, Im sad to say that nothing has changed. I order 3 orange chicken Panda Bowls 2 with chow mein and 1 with fried rice. I received 3 bowls with chow mein. When I pointed that out at the drive through window, they accused me of lying about my order. Plus she told someone inside the restaurant that I was yelling at her. We have to wear masks, so I was raising my voice because she said she could not hear me.I also asked fir hot mustard and did not receive any.Ive been to hundreds of other Panda Express locations throughout the US and this one stands alone as the worst.

What is there to say about The Panda? They are all the same and serve the same food. This one is no different. My only thought are that they have kept me waiting more than once for Teriyaki chicken. I would think that with the limited menu, things like that wouldnt happen. The staff is friendly and efficient. With the dine-in option gone, they have quickened their drive-thru a lot. Even if there are 5 or 6 cars in front of me, it doesnt take long to get my food. Be sure to ask for extra Teriyaki Sauce. They have shorted me more than once when I didnt.

So someone comes a few minutes later and asks us the she questions from the drive thru how many bowls how many plates so we start our order and she reads it back and its still wrong so we order again she brings the food and the order is wrong .. it was just terrible service

Called to let them know the fountain drinks have a seriously messed up extra ingredient causing it to taste like bathwater.I would let it go but I had panda from this location over a month ago with the same issue.When I called they said theyve known about it for a while and are getting it fixed, but I think that is no excuse to serve potentially dangerous drinks. Why have you been serving it if you knew the sodas taste like dirty dishwater? The girl I talked to did not give the phone to the manager when I asked for one, but instead asked what it was about. When I told her she started speaking in Spanish with someone next to her (nothing against speaking Spanish but this was obviously rude). I wasnt able to speak with a manager like I asked, she just said thanks for calling maam like we were through. I honestly think calling the health department is in order.I hate to leave bad reviews, and take no pleasure in saying that they also forgot my sauce on the side and I got an empty fortune cookie. If you order something thats been freshly made, you will probably end up with a fairly tasty fast food Chinese meal. However, if you order something thats been sitting under those heat lamps for too long, its a pretty underwhelming. Thats why I had to give it two stars: Sometimes they just dont keep the food fresh, and when that happens, its just not good. Even though sometimes its tasty, youre rolling the dice when you order.

This is our familys go to last minute meal Panda. I like this location because the staff are very friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Since it is in a shopping center there seems to be a lot of parking but it can be hard to find a parking spot but its worth ot The food is always prepared perfectly.

To call manager which he was next to her totally ignoring her until I called him this huge dude didnt even aknowlidge me and told her just to give them to me but when he walked away he yelled out next time u come here your not getting. The Cathedral City location is supposed to be open until 11pm on Saturday nights. I arrived at 10:25 and the door was locked. After some hesitation a girl unlocked the door and let me in. When I went to order she told me they only had 3 options. All other items were already cleaned out. I think they should change their hours or serve until the time they advertise!

These people at this establishment are stupid. Me and my sister once spent $40 here for my family and our mom is bedridden so we had to use her if and they let us. These other people wouldn’t and one of them was the same person as before. They made my sister cry because that food was for our mother who is dying because of cancer.
