It’s Panda ExpressI’m under no illusion that this is “chinese food”. What is is, though, is fresh cooked vegetables and meats, reasonably flavored, with good portions at a decent price. I challenge anyone to find another chain restaurant that can get you a plate of fresh healthy veg in as short a time frame.While I certainly wish there were more authentic and traditional Chinese (multi province would be fun too) fare, this is a reliable spot when you want healthy and low carb options fast.Speed: 5Variety: 4Price: 4Cleanliness: 4Atmosphere: 3Friendliness: 5

This might look great but when you doordash this x 2 for $46.06 you’d expect them to actually fill the side dishes with food. A 5 piece orange chicken and 5 shrimp. Never will I ever order again from you unless you fix your wrong. Train the staff to fill the actual to go dish. You make the small mom and pop shops more appealing.

2nd time Ive ordered a meal through Uber eats and they always forget something. Please read the ticket! If you are ordering through Uber eats please connect with your driver with the full order to make sure you get everything. This is ridiculous and they wont even answer the phone.

This place is constantly missing timely orders. Dont bother placing an online order as they seem to ignore those and only fulfill your orders once you arrive and ask about it. Then you have to wait for the cook to finish up whatever else they are behind on. You may want to try the Pinole location, it may be further but it will save you time

Came in starving to death. I needed to pick up dinner for me and my wife. I was greeted right away by a friendly fella. He proceeded to give me decent portions on my entrées. Service was prompt and prices were fair. Just be sure you get your plastic utensils because they don’t give it to you in the to go bag, & no napkins. The place was super clean and they gave me the code to use the restroom because I need to wash my hands after work. The bathroom was immaculate. I was pleasantly surprised. Overall the place was stress-free and the female cashier even smiled behind her mask. Thx Panda keep up the great work. 🙂

Mobile/ online pick up customer need to be prioritized if advertising service. The whole reason why you pay more for it. Delivery drivers are notified enough to be waiting and that’s with me not even being a driver I’m just waiting longer than the in store customers for my own order. A whole second line for nothing really. Manager should over staff or just be on the sales floor

The food just never taste FRESH. Something always seems off… chicken too slimy, my rice was hard today, $20 buck for some food I at least want one thing to taste good! The egg rolls don’t crunch… could of just went to Mr.Wongs smh. Plus the customer service is trash… idk those people just seem lethargic and depressed. I usually like panda express, and I order them often as a staple asian fast food, but today I was very disappointed especially with this branch. We ordered two bigger plates with fried rice and broccoli beef. The rice comes very dry, tasteless and the broccoli color looks pretty pale. I have to guess but I think they just stuff in expired food from the day before and warm them up. Yet even then they cannot do fried rice correct, as most of the rice grain are pretty bland and obviously without any seasoning. This is very disappointing and this Richmond branch is a huge embarrassment for the Panda Express branch

I love Panda Express. I eat at all pandas at least once a week. I mainly go to the Concord locations. This was my 1st time coming to this location.I place a order online to pick up. The pick up time was fast! 2 stars for that, Service was good 1 star for this = 3 Stars. The Food Primarily the Walnut Shrimp was Extremely Greasy it Litterally felt like it was dipped in oil and placed in an oil sauce. Never had it taste this way at any location ever.I will continue to eat Panda but I probably wont be back to this Location

I have eaten food from this restaurant twice. Both times food has been freshly cooked. The Mixed vegetables have been great. Not all mushy and over cooked, but fresh and crisp and still have texture to them. I was apprehensive about ordering them at first. Happy I chose to order them. I also have had the String Bean Chicken Breast and Honey Walnut Shrimp and a bite of someone elses Orange Chicken. They have all been very good. I will be back

I work down the street and in the past year or 3, Ive been coming to this Panda Express location a lot, I mean a lot, like at least once a month! In all my visits, only once have I had an issue-which the manager on duty took immediate action to resolve and provide complete customer satisfaction. About half the staff is friendly, the rest at least get the job done. The food is normally warm and fresh, and its Panda-if you want more portions, you can simply ask for more.I would say the biggest issue is that this restaurant is located next to a bus stop, and Richmond is the hood, so theres a fair share of homeless and ratchet entertaining people and people watching that youll be forced to take in. But some people, like myself, dont really mind it as its so entertaining!

The chowmain and rice was too dry and tasted nasty. The terryaki chiken was the only thing that I liked. But I hate the fact that I paid $10 for a 2 entree one side meal that didnt have good taste. I could have bought me something else that was more enjoyable to eat for that price. I had to throw the rest of it away because it tasted so bad. :( Go to the one in El Cerrito. For some reason that one has better tasting food.

What can I say, it’s Panda. Good place for ok Chinese food. I do like that you can see the kitchen and how everything is made, fairly clean... you never know what’s going on behind closed doors in a random hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. I still only give three stars because it is a major chain and not a greasy hole in the wall.... which sometimes is delicious if your willing to take a chance!

Work down the street, come here for lunch 12, they will get a long line, and be low on food, knowing the lunch rush is about to arrive. Rather than waiting to put in the cooking, the team should be getting the food ready as soon as less than half the bowl is left, considering the time it will take to cook the food. Ordered three bowls, portions were rushed out while i waited and were small. Definitely still needs lots of improvement, even after 1 year of coming here, I do go to others, except this is near my work, and due to this disappointment I only visit maybe once a month. Today I even ended up giving away one of my bowls to a person that was rummaging thru the garbage looking for food. What else can I say...

I understand the pressures the workers in there are facing with the whole situation we’re in right now. So my respects for trying to hold down a job. Apart from that, this place is TRASH!!! Got food poisoning last night from what I have deduced to have been the Beijing beef. Went with my family and the only thing we didn’t get alike was the Beijing beef.I’ll take responsibility in having gone to a place where multiple people are being served from the same dishes that are open to the air, protected only be a screen shield. That was my fault for not being cautious. But I will NEVER take my chances with this place ever again.Worst night of my life in recent memory!

Worst Panda Express I have ever been to. Opening times vary anywhere from 10:30 to 12:00, quality of food varies from uneatable to bearable, service varies from rude to always rude. The only constant here are the shady people that frequent this place and the music turned up so loud it distorts the sound.I have had to return food either because it was so undercooked I was scared I would become sick from it or it was so fried that not even a dog would want to eat it. Corporate Panda Express needs to take a close look at this franchise because they are making a bad name for every Panda Express out there. Do not eat here.
