My favorite Vietnamese restaurant so far! Their vermicelli Bun is great. I recommend the BBQ shrimp and pork. The egg roll has a lot of crushed beans or something pasty that I dislike so I dont get it but the grilled proteins are well-marinated. Pho is also good; portions are large so plan accordingly. Service is minimal. So far Ive seen two gentlemen bringing out drinks/food/checks begrudgingly. But they are not hostile, just unenthusiastic. If mediocre service is the price for excellent authentic food, Ill take that anytime.

Pho the Bowl was the first pho restaurant I had ever tried. Let me tell you, I have tried other restaurants and this is definitely the absolute best. My favorite dis is oxtail pho, which is so flavorful and tender it makes my mouth water just thinking of it! (I had a bowl of it today!). They have other delicious foods like chicken stir fried with soft rice noodles, spring rolls, fried wontons to name a few. Service is always prompt. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed!

I wanna give more than 5 stars!!!They are all sweet and really care about ppl.I put aside my dish cuz I was full and he-maybe owner- took me a box, even tho I didnt ask him.I forgot to bring my phone.The other guy ran for me to give it to me.Lastly, the food is good!!!I definitely will visit here again bcoz of the food.Its really good place//I visited the restaurant againi recommend fried wontons :)Fried rice and pho are also awesome

Ok this place used to be pretty blah several years ago. HOWEVER!!! It is so good now. The soup has better/great flavor, the egg rolls and spring rolls are delicious, and they have tasty coffee. We were so excited to discover they had changed some stuff up. Not sure if new ownership or new recipes, but in earlier case this is our favorite local pho place.

Wow, AMAZING food! So delicious. Well worth the price, highly recommend. I got a fresh coconut to drink! Spring rolls were on point and my salmon came out perfect. I LOVE their fried rice. Keep up the great job :)

A good experience, I got Pho and I made it almost too spicy to eat but it was still a nice experience. Its a lot of food and can be hard to finish if youre not really hungry. As I normally do, I got Thai tea. It was fine, quite standard, but I dont expect it to be a standout at a Vietnamese restaurant.

Horrible staff. Rude servers and unorganized phone order system. When you enter, no one greets you. All they do is looking in to your eyes and using sign language trying to understand your group count for the table.When you ask them question about their menus, they point finger at random items and no one seems to be able to answer your questions properly.Try to pick up the phone and call them to place an order over the phone for takeout. Right off the bat, they want to start a fight with you.Simple word…stay away from this place.

The garlic chicken wings (pictured below) is very, very good and Ive had it 3 times in 2 weeks. However, the portion is actually to large for one person and a bit expensive.The service is good, but the music isnt. They play a local radio station that has a lot of commericals and rap music - not conducive for eating.

The rudest people I’ve ever encountered. I asked for chicken, they gave me pork which I specifically told them we can’t eat. And then they got upset at us. We could’ve been allergic and they could have killed us.

Been coming to this spot for a few years now and they have never disappointed. The pho broth I think is what sets them apart from similar Vietnamese restaurants.Super fast service and friendly. If you go on a sunny day you can expect to be seated instantly, but be warned if you come a rainy or cold overcast day this place gets packed especially during lunch hour.

Hands down my favorite Pho place! Service is exceptionally quick, and the pho flavor and quality is consistent and delicious . Every time I am in town this is on my “must visit” list. The chicken pho I ordered was delicious. The soup was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. My only complaints are the high price ($15) and for that high price, they give you a small amount of noodles. The food is good but I wont be coming back.

I went there with my family and it was a big disappointment, first I ordered a coconut, and they tell me they only have coconut in a bag ( It looked like a Ziploc bag with water in it and maybe two pieces of coconut floating) so big NO for me, second I ordered an Oxtail Pho and when I got my soup I was very sad to not see the oxtail bone but Instead something that looked like shredded beef with a very large amount of fat, it took me like 15 minutes to separate the fat from the actual meat and not surprised to see it had more fat than meat in the soup, my side of vegetables had yellow and blackish broccoli, not fresh at all and to finish with everything the noodles were not long like usual they were cut in small pieces made me think it was someone elses leftovers, at the end I did call the waiter and ask to speak with manager or supervisor and he told me they did not have manager or supervisor, I paid my full bill and left good tip but definitely will never comeback.

I can assure you the majority of these 5 star reviews are family and friends. Go up the street a couple of miles to signature pho if you actually want good pho. Its as close to going to little Saigon for pho. Seriously the quality of their meat is beyond bad.

I honestly do not understand how this place has 4 stars. Let me start off by saying the following the pho here is absolutely terrible the quality of meat for one Is bottom tier at best. And it comes out cold anyone who knows anything about pho Is that it has to be served piping hot. Ive given this place maybe 8 or 9 different opportunities over the last 15 or so years and every single time Ive left completely astonished as to how bad the food is. On this particular day the service was good But again the pho is attended with wsy too many noodles which mashed the soup extremely cold. And again the meat quality was tertible chewy to Mahe matters worse i found a fly in my soup half. When I brought it to my waiters attention all he did was take it away and I still got charged for it. It wasnt until I complained about it that they took it off my bill. I also ordered the shaken beef for my son to eat, which was to be fair OK, but thats about the only thing I could say about my lunch and experience. All at all I can say with confidence that I will never ever come back to this place ever again I know its the only Vietnamese restaurant in this area so I understand why so many people still come here to eat But man Ive got to tell you. Id rather drive a mile up the street and go to signature pho. They dont have as large a menu, but if youre actually looking for edible pho, I go there. Pho the bowl ought to change their name because pho Is the last thing they ought to be selling.

Very good food and super nice staff. One of the better non-chain places in the area that we so desperately need. One thing - the bathroom is gross. I’ve been many times and always like to wash my hands. The bathroom always smells disgusting and seems very unclean. I only believe in 5-star rating or no rating, so hope the management will see this and deal with the bathroom.

Ive been visited more than dozen Vietnamese Pho restaurants at Orange County. My takeout order starting egg rolls- surpring only two small ones, spring rolls with shrimp- not tasted fresh, the Pho rice noodles with beef combo- rare small sized beef pieces. The quality of the food and guest service is below the average.

We love this place. Been going for years. I worked with 300+ Vietnamese for 15 years and truly learned to appreciate their food, especially PHO.Since were about 30 miles from Little Saigon and it taking 45 minutes to get there where the best restaurants are, this little Gem is the next best thing for us. Id go nuts if I couldnt get my #1 PHO a couple times a month. We always get Egg rolls and Spring Rolls as well. There are a lot of local Asian Americans that live near us that visit here frequently, so it does get people from all walks of life enjoying their food. I only have tried the one on La Paz, but I think theres another one on Crown Valley Pkwy. and Marguerite Pkwy.People order more than the PHO so go give it a try and hopefully youll enjoy it as much as we do. 😋

Delicious grilled pork, fresh green salad and a generous rice portion! Very tasty with all the sauces you need to sweeten it up or make it spicy. My only complaint was the tap water tasted a little off. I will solve that problem next time with a tasty iced coffee.

Rude staff!!!! Zero customer service ethics!We have been regular customers to this place. Yesterday we had order chicken curry and it was spoilt and the side salad was rotten. We called to let know and the person was rude and asked to come over. We took the curry back and the service was extremely rude instead of being apologetic. He told he would not be able to give back money and asked to pick something instead. Which we agreed on. He Replaced the spoilt food with the worst attitude ever. My tab was 27 dollars and I didnt tip. The waiter threw the menu at me as I arrived and I sat myself. He never welcomed me. And I felt that I was causing him a inconvenience. I mean who cares about the DINING EXPERIENCE right? Just your hard earned money being spent on a small luxury, that these days youre lucky if you can afford it. Who needs my business, right? The other gentleman working there were alright. I ordered a second beer on purpose simply because he kept looking over as if he wanted me to leave. So I sat there for another 15 minutes as I drank my beer. I was there a total of 35 minutes. Average for a night out alone having dinner. Disappointing, I must say. Visited this place for the first time and I got the Special (#1). Broth was rather bland and lackluster. The large was a bigger bowl of noodles and broth but not much more meat. I was really hungry so at least it was filling and hydrating enough, but I suggest you go north if you can and get better pho for 30% cheaper.

Without having to go to Westminster or Garden Grove to get great Vietnamese food, Pho the Bowl is pretty darn good for South County.I generally get pho and the fresh spring roll, but sometimes I get the broken rice dishes too and Ive never been disappointed here.The staff is young and friendly so that is a plus too.

The food here is really good, I always go for the vegetable fried rice and the noodle only soup, most of the staff is very friendly, but sometimes they forget about you after they have brought over your food, I asked for more lemons and they waiter never came back. Overall good food.

I love this place because theyre the only pho restaurant that I know of that doesnt put soy in their broth...since I cant have any kind of soy. And Asian food of any kind that I can have other than plain white rice makes me so happy❣Especially, since Im half Chinese. If you’re coming for only Pho, this place might do. Pho broth is meh. They are on the “skimpy” side with the amount of meat they put on fried rice and noodle/Stir fry dishes. Banh Miah pork sandwiches are good but easily $4.00 overpriced compared to every other Pho joint in the area. Spring rolls are tasty and plentiful. I won’t do you guys dirty and leave you less than 3 stars but it’s important that people who enjoy good Vietnamese Cuisine know what they are getting into. Pho Thanh Binh in San Clemente has way better Pho & Banh Miah

Great soup but the service is very Vietnamese. I say that because the waiters are just there to take your order and serve your food. They dont know anything about the food and cant answer your questions. Dont be shy about calling the waiter to your table, they wont get offended, otherwise they will ignore you.

Good broth in pho, dont need to add anything but chili if desired. BBQ pork in other dishes has nicely charred bits and has nice flavor, only subtlely sweet. Three serving sizes available for pho at standard, reasonable prices and a healthy amount of food. Medium size is best bet if in doubt. Bun noodle dishes are decently done, but more veg and larger portions would be appropriate. Left me hungry.

This is one of my favorite pho places. They have other dishes but without a doubt, their namesake pho is to excellent. Dont be scared of their rare beef in the soup since the hot soup will fully cook the thinly sliced meat. If youve never had pho (pronounced fa) before, they give you a plate of veggies that you can flavor your soup to taste with. Also, there is a hoisin sauce on the table that I also like in the soup.

This is our go-to pho place in South OC. Its incredibly affordable and you get a ton of pho. I appreciate the ratio of broth to meat/toppings. Ive been here at least 5 times and its always consistent and fresh. If youre looking for a quick place to grab pho on a dreary/rainy day, this is the place to go.
