Pretty good spot but kind of over priced. Came to the one in Downey and dumplings were under cooked but rest of the family platter was tasty. Good service but you can easily go to one of those small chinese food spots and get way more food for less. Overall good to try.

I actually thought this place was going to be good. Boy was I wrong in my opinion everybody can’t make.Asian cuisine especially bourbon chicken so, I’m just disappointed I wasted $12 of my good tax paying dollars on this foolishnessLMFAO. This may seem so petty. Then the manager said she put a fortune cookie in my bag. Gina, the fortune cookie was not there, so I’m beyond disappointment but 🤷🏾‍♀️

I would like to Congratulate Cristian for being such a Great host, his customer service is Awesome! He’s very informative and goes above and beyond for customers and all big a smile. I appreciate you answering my questions about the menu and acknowledging my toddler and bringing me an extra plate. I wish all host were like you. This place was delicious I tried 302 fried rice, homestyle noodle soup and garlic chicken everything was delicious and the portions where quite big.Drink are awesome here too!! Matcha boba!!Its a small place so it does get crowded

Brown rice was dry and crusty, chewy and tasted old and stale. Firecracker chicken was all breading and had such a small amount of chicken it was unrecognizable. Terrible!

People hear cant get your order right here. Just stop for lunch and order the Curry Chicken with Brown Rice, got Curry Chicken with Noodles. This has not been the first time at this location that they screwed up my order. But I can say that this time my Wonton soup was hot, it is usually cold.

If you want old, stale tasting chicken teriyaki for the price of freshly cooked chicken teriyaki.... Well then definitely check out Pick Up Stix in Downey. Perhaps they should not hire some of these ex convicts as cooks (you know who Im talking about). I wish Pick Up Stix corporate would do something about this. Dont let your cooks get lazy, dirty and sloppy..... tell them to cook fresh food. I wouldnt trust these clowns in the kitchen to run a flea circus.

I live in Arizona and we don’t have this restaurant, not at least anywhere near me. So when I come visit in Norwalk I come here at least once each trip I take. The food never disappoints. It is always hot, high quality and tastes fresh. Their orange chicken is heavenly, like insurmountably better than Panda Express or anything you buy in stores. Their shrimp is good quality and really tasty too. I like their rice, spring rolls and the noodles. Everything I’ve ever had here was delicious and satisfactory. Wish we had one close by where I live! I’ve dined in and done take out as well, when I got take out the food was still hot and just as good as it is as eating it there.

Food has always been good. The problem was when the order taker was cleaning up for the night and had the nerve to pick up the rugs and walk right back k to the food packing area and handle orders never washing her hands! Luckily I had someone else pack my food, but this will be my last time ever coming to this location!

I am giving THIS Pick Up 5 stars ⭐️, not for the food. It is a fast food restaurant so nothing much to say about that. I am giving them a 5 star for the OUTSTANDING Customer service I received while dinning there… I was greeted by Alfredo or Alfonzo ( please forgive me for not remembering his name), the new manager. He greeted me with a smile, let me know proximately how long my order would, and checked on me half way through my meal. Businesses just don’t offer service like that anymore… Once again thank you for the great services..

Ordered the family meal, was not given the usual big tray with 5 compartments (easier to cover and serve)- just given tiny boxes. The worst thing was the House chicken (which I normally love) the house chicken was BURNT, it smelled like burnt and tasted like burnt. I had to throw it in the trash (the orange chicken was amazing) seeing as I had to toss out my House chicken, Will not buy again from this location.

So delicious! Loved that I caught the .50 cent wontons Wednesday. Only got 6 but really shoulda got more! The brocolli was a little funny tasting but overall a very delicious lunch that I craved since vegas locations are limited.

First time trying Pick Up Sticks.I was SO in the mood for a hot, savory wonton soup. I ordered a Large size and literally got ZERO WONTONS. I got about 13 pieces of broccoli though...Cashier was super nice, but waiting 15min for soup and then not getting the main ingredient is pretty upsetting.

This is the place to go for sum delicious 😋🤤 freshly prepared spicy noodles. Our favorite dish. Just eat them while still hot.I bought mine for my lunch the next day and they arent nearly as tasty, but still very goodSadly still cant eat inside, but they bring the food to you as you wait outside

First time here. I ordered take out with my friends, and by the time we made it home we realized one of my friends didnt get her teriyaki chicken and I didnt get my orange chicken. My friend called the place and they refunded her for the missing items.All I ate was the chow mein and fried rice, which tasted ehh. I honestly didnt like it, Ive had better.I was hungry so I ate it. 😶My friends liked the food. I guess everyones taste buds are different. 😏

Theres a parking lot, plenty of spaces. Food is made fresh and staff are courteous. I recommend the chow mein over the rice...its more flavorful in my opinion. I like that the restaurant is always clean and condiments are well-stocked. Its pretty cool they have iPads to place orders there. When I want Asian inspired food, I come here.

Food taste is bad I agreed with the other review the shrimp chow mein was bad and only had about 3 baby tiny shrimps in it was more noodles than anything else. Saturday I ate at the one in seal beach and today here and there is a huge difference in flavor is like rookies are cooking here they should have a protocol or something they should better food and service not get worst. That is my opinion.

The food was tasty, portions were adequate, and the service was friendly and professional. But the temperature in the Downey location was so cold that I feared hypothermia, we needed scarves, mittens and beanies to avoid frostbite. In all fairness, they did shut off the AC when I asked.

The house special beef lunch is bucking deliciousness! Only served as a special until 3 pm, I got it with rice and noodles- only downside was it was $8.50 with no drink, so I brought my own in a can and just asked for a cup or ice. :)

When I stay for business in the area, I always find myself here looking for a healthy to-go meal to take back to the hotel. Located in The Commons, i can go to Rite Aid for any necessary last-minute items....like WINE or in case I forgot my toothpaste....while my order is being prepared and pick it up on my way to the hotel. No fuss business travel and I can get back to finish all my emails and chill-out.

We came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Ordered lunch entrees. We both got 3/4 rice and 1/4 of the entree on our plates. They really skimped, totally not worth it for $8. The place was empty too. probably wont come back to this location. I know specifically what a lunch entree is supposed to consist of. Im full of rice now.

Food came out and was hot and fresh and tasted okay, no like it was super fantastic and the best in Downey. Seating is kind of wonky and walking to the drink station is out of the way. This restaurant is very consistent and being very good at what they do. I love the house chicken and the fried rice. One of my other favorites are the cream cheese fried wontons. Service is always very quick the staff is very friendly and the restaurant is always clean

My first time there. For an $8.31 lunch combo of Kung pao chicken with 1/2 chow mein and 1/2 white rice, I got yummy white rice, greasy sugary plain noodles (zero [0] veggies), overly sweet thick sauce Kung pao chicken, and a yummy chicken egg roll. Way too unhealthy for too high a price. I thought Panda Express was a little too greasy, but theyre so much better than this place, Pick Up Stix. I would NEVER go back.
