It was our first time here and Keith made it to where we will come back. He knows the menu well, gives you genuine suggestions and is so friendly. The food is better quality than Panda and the price is about the same. I hope the owner takes note of a good employee because he made all the difference today.

Pickup Stick is a fast food Chinese. I arrived at 11am as the store was opening to beat the lunch crowd. Food is always good and hot. I had the shrimp fried rice. The facility is always clean and staff is very courteous. You can dine in or takeout.

Just ordered the Family Meal which we have consistently purchased over the years. The portion size has been diminishing each time we go, to the point where a Family Meal doesnt even cover 2 adults and a 10 year old! And the price has steadily increased as well... If you have a take out order, you better look inside if you dont want to get an added surprise (shorting you food) with your fortune cookies!

I spent $40 for three entrees for lunch today none of them had much flavor at all I asked if the curry tofu was spicy and she said no it was sweet and it was dry and too spicy both the orange chicken and the teriyaki chicken were very dry with very little sauce and the vegetables had very little flavor

Do not order from this Pick Up Stix!! They cant get orders right even when they are not busy. I ordered two adult entrees and one kids menu item. My husband picked up our order and found that the Crispy Honey Shrimp we ordered was not in the bag. I might add this was a $1388 item which we did not get....not even the rice to go with it. My husband ordered some extra rice not realizing they shorted our order which included beef and chicken. The beef was inedible as it was tough and full of fat. IF you order from these folks be sure and take your order apart at the counter prior to leaving to insure they havent messed up your order.

I visited Saturday October 2nd at 3pm. I had not been to a Pickup Stix in about 15 years. The location in Hillcrest was one of the Original locations. Food is not as good as it was 15 years ago.. but its definitely better quality then Panda Express. Service was very good, prompt, restaurant was updated, and well cleaned inside.

Delicious! I drove a little ways away form home to get Pick up Stix and was not dissatisfied in any way. Food was soo good and the staff were so friendly. Eveything I ordered including the house special chicken salad was fresh and delish. I really wish there was a location closer to me. And this spot threw in a complimentary desert. Definitely glad I made the trip!

This location looks clean and safe. The food though dissappointed my husband and I. The Mongolian beef taste ok but the beef is tough. The lettuce and bean sprouts for the wrap are not fresh especially the bean sprouts. Chix filling for the wrap is ok. Fried rice is bland and no longer taste as it used to be.

Nasty food!!!! Lettuce for lettuce wrap red around the rim and hard to find chicken in container only mushrooms and water chestnuts. The vegetables are dryed out. KP chix had way to much pepper. Chicken and veg meal was bland and not flavorful. Not happy at all!!!!

Excellent food choices and great tasting fare. Service is usually exemplary except for a few front clerks who are slow and not customer friendly. Management should dedicate to training cashiers to be more efficient and inviting to customers.

Really BAD food. Under cooked salmon. No green onion or green bean, told no longer served with. Photo on web site shows it. Rude help with problem and bad attitude. Waited 15 minutes both times. Strongly recommend NOT eating here.

The staff is very helpful when trying to make a decision. I told them that I didnt want something too greasy, and the immediately suggested two entrees that both sounded very good, so I ordered both. They were a bit expensive, but the quality of the dishes was the finest of any order-at-the-counter restaurant.

I received the best customer service today. I had my dog in the car while it was running and I went inside and placed an order. I went back to my car to keep my dog company. I had plans on going back in and picking up my order but the wonderful young lady came outside and gave me my order. I really really appreciated that gesture. There are still good people out there. ☺

I really like this particular place because of the connivance of been able to order on line. The food its good I have tried the majority of the rice and noodle options which have a great flavor. but I usually come to this place for the Asian Lettuce Wraps. They are the bomb. I think this appetizer its great specially on a hot day or warm night.

This was my first time eating pick up Stix and for a quick service reasturant it is fantastic better than Panda express in my opinionWe had Wonton soup chicken fried rice and firecracker shrimp combo with white rice everything was hot and delicious and we will definitely be back and tell a friend 😋And great Service at the Rancho San Diego reasturant as well!

My food was delicious and I was happy however I went with a friend who has a gluten allergy and told the cashier this when she ordered. She asked them to tell the cook so that there wouldnt be any cross contamination. The cashier went and told the manager instead who then came over and talked to my friend. She again explained to the manager that she has a gluten allergy and would become very ill if there was any cross contamination and again, asked them to notify the cook of this. From there she could see that nobody ever went and spoke with the cook (open kitchen) and then watched as the cook picked up my ingredients (which contained gluten) and then handled hers without ever changing his gloves.

Order two entrees and some spring rolls and Toto be 10 to 15 minute wait. 15 minutes later I check to see where my food was and they said it was still coming out. 30 minutes go by and they dont know where my orders at. Had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the cook to make my food. Obviously when its busy they cant keep their orders straight.

Burnedlean location. Polite staff. The food was not good. Basic chow mein, with an upgrade paid for beef chichen and shrimp. The noodles were greasy and drowned in a sticky sweet sauce. Shrimp was good. Beef tasted freezer burned and was in tiny litte pieces. Chicken? Didnt see any. Cabbage was sliced super thin and only a couple strips of it in the whole dish. Mom got veggie egg rolls, and they didnt have a normal sweet and sour dipping sauce.

This place has great food but they often mess up the order when ordering online. Today, I tried to order Firecracker Tofu with white rice and a side order of steamed vegetables. The order taker insisted that I couldnt have both! Even though, I told her I understood that I was paying extra for the steamed vegetables...we actually went around and around ad nauseum. I still dont understand why I cant have white rice and a side of steamed vegetables if Im willing to pay for it.
