Based on my experience here, the food was really good overall. It was tasty, fresh, and hot. The firecracker chicken was my favorite. Not too spicy, but with a small kick. Vegetarian options available (tofu, etc.). Customer service was fine. It wasnt that comfortable dining in due to it being real hot inside. AC set at a cooler temperature wouldve helped a lot. Overall, would return and recommend.

First try. Flavorful, and good amount of meat and rice. My fave from my order was the spicy crispy tofu entrée.Place was surprisingly comfortable and clean. Plenty of spots for dine-in.Will go back to try more.Edit: Been trying more items, House special steak is the bomb! Sooo good! Chicken curry is great too!

I ordered the garlic chicken and was so surprised at how sweet the dish was. Why does a garlic chicken dish need to be sweeter than the ice cream cone I had at McDonald’s across the way after dinner? They really should label their dish “sweet” if they’re going to make it so cloying. Won’t be back :/.

Tried Pick Up Stix for the first time today. Ordered the Firecracker Tofu with brown rice. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. This plaza gets really busy around lunch time due to the McDonalds drive through but PUS was not busy

Well my son and I stopped by the La Mesa location and got the new nachos . Unfortunately I dont do spicy food at all,The nachos are full flavor, wonderful bold and right on the honey!!! Unfortunately due to spicy content, I only got to eat 1/8 of it. But it has great flavor and the staff is the bomb.....so nice and all with a smile. Thànk u

Loved it so easy we order and drive down pick it up. The drunken noodle with beef is very very good my wife likes the bourbon chicken, it has a good flavor. Dumplings are a good pre snack .the chow mein is good. Packaged real well last time I had garlic honey shrimp and that was good too. This place is behind the McDonalds on the side of Costco. Im not sure if people are eating inside seamed empty

I went here because they had 4 stars and I can honestly say I was very disappointed. I went with the family meal for 3. The fried rice was very dry, wontons were soggy, and the kung pho chicken was gross. The white rice was probably the best thing on the platter and that’s not saying much. It was definitely a waste of $36.88. Don’t waste your money. I won’t be going here again.

We ordered 2 combo plates, Kung Pao Chicken and Shrimp and Vegetables. The combos are a good deal at slightly less than the regular entree price and there are 2 cream cheese wontons included, which you dont get with the regular entree. The Shrimp combo was okay but the Kung Pao combo was SWIMMING in the sauce. Ive had Kung Pao at Panda Express and theirs was light and flavorful rather this drenched, awful mess which was painful to try to eat. I dont recommend it at all.

Not as good as it used to be. I think maybe my chef burnt the house special chicken. I asked for my soup first before the main dish and they told me of course they could do that. But then the complete opposite happened. They brought my main course out and said oh the soup isnt ready yet is that alright? And I told him no thats not all right but did he do anything to correct it no just put the food down. No thats not all right cuz thats the exact opposite of what I asked for and you know that so why would you ask me if thats all right. Perhaps coming out and saying. oh my gosh Im so sorry we messed up and is there a somehow we can make it up to you how about a chocolate-covered fortune cookie. The only reason Im giving three stars is in the past I have had good food here and good service and I dont want to have just one bad experience with the taste of the food and the service ruin it for everybody.Perhaps Ill go back once I forget about this last experience but thatll be a while.

This place is great. The staff is great. They are fast. They have never messed up my order. However I will only give them three stars because they close at 9 pm. At Pick Up Stix ... why do you guys close so early? Apparently all of the Pick Up Stix in the area close at 9 pm. Why not just close at 6 p.m.? It is an unfortunate situation because if I do make it into the restaurant right before 9 p.m. when they close there are usually several other people running in to get dinner as well. I also hate to be that guy that orders right before they close. Im sure if they were open a little longer maybe an hour or at least 30 minutes, they would have plenty of business. Some of the nicer restaurants in the area are open until 11. Honestly I do not understand why they close so early.

Tried this restaurant 8 years ago and found it to be very overpriced for the amount of food you receive and the food tasted too sweet. All of it had a strange overwhelming sweetness to it. Tried it again recently, and found the same thing to be true. Only gave it a second chance because we were desperate for Chinese delivery and there werent many options. 1/3 of our order was left out when we received it. We called the store and after putting us on hold 4 times, asked if we could come in and pick it up. That defeats the entire purpose of the expensive delivery and we werent able to do so. Then they offered some sort of store credit or coupon but we were definitely not coming back a third time. What we wanted, was for our money to be refunded for the items we didnt receive. Didnt expect anyone to bring us the rest of our food. They wouldnt do this and told us to take it up with their third party delivery company. The delivery driver did NOT eat our missing food, Pick Up Stix didnt pack it. So we just left it at that instead of causing a problem for our delivery driver. Lost our business permanently.

I ordered online delivery. They messed up the order, my drink was only 2/3 full and the food I did get was horrible. They gave me chicken chow mein. The noodles were so overcooked that they are no longer noodles. I got a box with a solid clump of something that was almost exactly like mashed potatoes with vegetables in it. Literally inedible. I will never eat food from here again.

It had such an awesome flavor. The egg fried rice is really good and taste great the next day for lunch. Save time use the online ordering.

Just ordered curb side pick up. Sat in my car for 25 minutes staring at my bad of food. 2 Other people received their pick ups next to me, so its not that you didnt notice me sitting there since its directly in front of your restaurant. Not like the people bringing out food didnt notice there was a vehicle in the 2 curb side pick up slots sitting there for 25 minutes. I finally had to call to get my food, and watched you pick up a bag from the counter that had been there when I pulled up. Thanks for the cold food, and melted fortune cookies. Really appreciate the garbage service.

Meh. Food was just slightly ok. Took over 25 minutes for noodles and orange chicken and wonton soup. The wonton soup should have been way better. They use a water broth. There was 1 wonton in my soup. chicken, which was rubbery, and a random pea... I dont understand how you can be so pricey and the food is NOT up to par. $18 for noodles, chicken and one wanton in water.Never will i ever go vack here again.

I mostly order online and by the time I get there my food is ready. Its fast Chinese food that is made to order so i dont expect much then the food tasting like it should. Not a fan of some of the he dishes there so I stay away from them. The biggest issue I have is that they dont always give me brown rice and end up with white rice.

Atmosphere is a two. The taste and ingenuity was a four. Our dishes were very well prepared; the Cod was outstanding and the Kobe ribs were melt in your mouth buttery. Hang on to surprise flavors like a wasabi infused sauces. The downside is that the waiters want to turn tables and rush their customers.

Portions are not substantial for the price you pay. I ordered the thai chicken curry with brown rice lunch combo. There was a very meager & poor serving of the curry & veggies. I only had 2 pieces of chicken in the whole thing & it looked like I was given whatever was left over from another order & tried to compensate it with more rice to fill the plate. My plate also had a tear in it (theyre plastic). The only good thing here was the soup. I had to poor some of the soup into my rice also because it was super dry & very bland. I could get a whole lot more & more substantial portions & @ the same price at Panda Express. If I do come here again I would only order the soup...at least I know I would be getting my moneys worth then.

Good food. My first visit here the staff was very helpful in trying to make a dish like i get in Ohio becuz I wasnt familiar with their menu & it was delish. Nice touch that they give you a cup to get what u want to drink (even though they call it a water cup- they tell you to get what you want) while yiu wait for your takeout. Clean place with TVs to watch while there. Friendly staff & quick service.

Pick Up Stix has recently overhauled their menu. It is no longer a Panda Express style place. Everything is made fresh, and is still okay for takeout, but it takes longer and I think the prices have gone up. The flavors are good, but I was disappointed in the veggie mix dishes because the dishes were half cooked carrots.

The food was good but they forgot my sauce for the wantons.. Im disabled but walk back to get it cuz its so good, and they have closed in the 8 minutes it took me to realize they didnt put any dipping sauce. So I knock on the door.. everyone is still there and there is food on the order station, but they just look at me stupid and yell they are closed, like the locked door wasnt a big red flag... really? I was the only customer in there and I was the last customer before they closed, do they recognized me, and didnt care that I had an issue, like, why else would my crippled azz walk back unless there was a problem. Im not going back. It was painful to walk back in the cold, so you lost a customer. Good job.

I ate there last night and woke up at 2 am with severe stomach pains. In the past 7 hours I have thrown up 5 times and have other bodily fluid issues that you probably don’t wanna hear. Fresh Woks food is always a good thing. Kind of a loud place however. Average fast-food prices $7-$10 a meal. Large enough lunch portions. Parking lot is horrible, navigating through it is sometimes difficult when busy, Shares the lot with Costco and McDonalds.

Just ordered the General Tsaos chicken and white rice. The chicken is overcooked. I could throw them against the wall and it would sound like a rock. I found hair in the chicken also. The rice was so dry not even the premium soy sauce they gave me could make it soften up. To sum it up, I feel ripped off and completely disappointed. Oh and this update, just now, I opened my fortune cookie and there was no fortune in it. Its a sign. Im not going back.
