I recently had the pleasure of dining at Red Hot Chilli Pepper in Folsom, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Snehal, the manager, has truly worked wonders in creating a unique and vibrant dining experience. What sets this place apart is not just its Indo Chinese cuisine but also the warm and inviting atmosphere that permeates the entire establishment.Being the only Indo Chinese restaurant in the Sacramento area, Red Hot Chilli Pepper has carved a niche for itself, and I must say, its a niche well worth exploring. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a welcoming vibe that instantly made me feel at home.One standout aspect of my visit was the impeccable service provided by Praveen, an exceptional waiter who went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. His fast and friendly service added to the overall positive impression of the restaurant.Now, lets talk about the food—a true highlight of my visit. I started with the TROPICAL LYCHEE MARTINI, a delightful concoction that blended the sweetness of lychee with the kick of vodka. It set the perfect tone for the culinary journey that followed.The Chilli Chicken, ordered at medium spice level, was an absolute winner. Cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spices, it left my taste buds dancing with joy. Following that, I indulged in some vegetarian momos that were a burst of flavor and texture. The softness of the momo paired with the delicious filling made it a memorable dish.The Calcutta Chicken transported me straight to the streets of Calcutta. The authenticity of the dish was unparalleled, and I appreciated the chefs dedication to preserving traditional flavors.To wrap up my meal, I opted for the detox tea—a refreshing and healthy choice that perfectly concluded the culinary journey. Beware of food poisoning and having precooked food, horrible management.Me and my roommates fell sick and have reported to their manager as a courtesy he did not even apologize rather patronized telling they have decades of experience.Very disappointed with quality of food which was served to us. The konjee crispy lamb was super tough to eat and swallowThe devils chicken has just plain habanero chillies. The Calcutta chicken felt this dish was reheated multiple times. The fish in a sauce felt like jelly bean soup.The egg wrapped fried rice was the only dish which felt fresh rest everything felt pre cooked.We were very excited to have this new reasturant in Folsom and even after reading negative review we dared to try this reastura rant but this is a complete disaster after everyone in the house fell sick. Wasted $140 and health got effected.Hoping the RHCP management look into this and stop boasting their decades of experience and focus on actual food quality.Update: RHCP claim I did not call them, I have ordered food on April 14th evening, fell sick next day, called manager on April 16th first time they told manager is not there so took my details, manager called on April 17th I had a missed call, April 18th when I had called manager, same boasting again that they have decade experience.Hope RHCP understand we also have decade experience of eating good food.If RHCP needs more proof I can provide. Diarrhea lasted for more than a week.

First time coming here and the food, service, and ambience were excellent! A very cool fusion take on Indian and Chinese. We got the chili garlic noodles, chili chicken, and tofu appetizer and everything tasted great. Allison our server was attentive, helpful, and friendly. Praveen the manager came by to check how we were enjoying the food as well. My photos dont the food justice as i went to town on it... :)

Nice place for Indo chinese food. Great ambiance and service were quick.We ordered a few veg, fish, and chicken dishes, and everything tasted good. Loved the soup we ordered. The noodles were just ok.

My new favorite Indo - Chinese food place in the area. Ive been trying outstanding dishes, including Konjee Crispy Lamb, HongKong Lamb, Veggies Momos. So far keep coming back many time for their HongKong Lamb - it’s chunk of lamb meat with onions and red peppers - my favorite one, never forget to request it’s made extra spicy. The momo ( green steamed dumpling) was just ok for me. Waiting time around 20 mins for this dish. I don’t mean it’s bad taste. I’m just certainly not a fan of dumpling carb stuff. But I have to admit it has good taste goes with vinegar dipping sauce. Cant comment on the service or atmosphere as all my order experiences have been take-out only so far, but everyone seems quite friendly every-time I picked up orders.Overall: Excellent food and value... A bit high on price though compared to other Indo - Chinese restaurants. That’s why people say it’s expensive but my motto you get what you pay for. Everytime I order this food. It is consistently delicious with decent portion and even have left overs (More than half of it)Would absolutely return to try many other things on their menu and recommend this place to my friend.

Review of Red Hot Chili Pepper in Folsom, Ca.This was such a pleasant surprise!This place is Indo-Chinese, so expect Indian flare with Chinese influence.The restaurant is more upscale and the dining room is modern. We tried the Szechuan eggplant, it was absolutely delicious. We also had their Hunan chicken, which was also very good. We also had a side of basmati rice. Well definitely be back!!

We certainly liked the drinks, service, and ambience. However, their food was hit or miss. Out of 5 items we ordered, I can say we really liked two and the other 3 were sub par, and I believe the reason might be that those were a tad heavy on the salty side, which might have masked the real flavor of each item. We will visit again, but will make a point to let the server know to have the chef hold back on salt a little

The food is delicious and of good quantity. The quality is great as well! It is one of the best Indo Chinese foods I have had here in the US.The service is outstanding as well. They made sure to check on the feel of the food to make sure it was too our liking. They even went the extra effort to modify our honey chicken as it turned out to be non spicy to our level. Going that extra mile is always well appreciated.

I have gone with my friends to celebrate birthdays. Food is really yummy and delicious. Servers are great and friendly.
