Though I love Thai food and also this restaurant, I am writing a negative review because of my experience today. My toddler was moving his legs which hit the foot board of the seat we were seated on and had some tapping noise. He was just being a toddler and not causing any nuisance to anybody. But the waiters seemed to have a problem with it and everyone passing our table kept asking him to stop it. And some of them even told us parents ( me and my husband) to make him stop doing it telling us they had other customers. We even obliged and asked our kid to stop doing it. He did stop but occasionally his legs did hit the foot board, unintentionally. And then one of the waiter walks to us and tells us we have to ask our kid to stop it else he would move us to another table as other customers are getting disturbed. I asked him if someone had complained and he told yes. So I told him my boy was just being a toddler and we couldnt expect him to sit still. And more over he was not cranky, crying or throwing any tantrum. He was most well behaved for a child and eating his dinner. If someone complained of this child, he (waiter) had to move them to a different table and not us. I wonder why this different treatment to different customers? I am very saddened by this behavior of adults who forget they were once children too. Parents be aware before you take your kids to this restaurant. And till the no one even apologized for their attitude towards us. I may not want to return here. I am sure there are more Thai restaurants in town to fulfill my Thai food cravings.

Red Hot Chilli Pepper - Folsom

Hubby and I decided to try this out to since it is new to the area.Much to our regret, well never go back to this restaurant.Theres no wait when we went in at about 6pm on a weekday. We got seated right away.Ambience is casual, suited for families. It looked clean inside. When we sat down, the male server (never got the name), gave us a menu and left us for a few minutes to decide. When he came back, he asked: Are you ready to order?. To this, we replied: Yes, please. And then much to our surprise, he said: Ok lets go! We found this kinda a rude response to a customer, as if hes impatient in waiting for our order. We just ignored this, and continued to order the following:SWEET CORN SOUPFRIED TOFU WITH VEGETABLESCHICKEN DRUMS OF HEAVENWhen the food arrived a few minutes later, and we started to eat, we found all of these three very salty. Even the SweetCorn soup, was salty! The Vegetables were soggy, and the chicken were more on the tough/chewy side. We didnt want to waste food, so we ordered VEGETABLE FRIED RICE to counter the saltiness of food and hoped that the fried rice would help. But nope, after the fried rice arrived, it too was salty. While trying our best to swallow these food, heres the server coming over and asked us; Hows the food?, and to this, I replied and pointed to the food: These 3 are very salty (pointing to the three food). And to our astonishment, the server just looked at us and left. AGAIN! No response! I dont even know if he heard us, or just chose to ignore our response/answer to his question. Now, when we were asked for the bill, the server asked: Did you like the food?. To which I replied No. The food was horrible and very salty. Again, no response, he just left our table, came back with the bill, and took our card. Still, no comment. Im pretty sure he heard me when I responded because my husband even commented about my very too honest response. We were given the full bill and paid for it. I guess this restaurant does not really care what their customers feel about their food nor care to improve on both the food or service.Food: 1 Star. Too Salty. There are much more better tasting food option somewhere in Folsom than this.Service : ZERO star. I kid you not, this interaction between us and the server did happen. I even thought and felt as if we were being PUNKD!I suggest the owner train their servers/wait staff better or else, they will lose a lot more customers.Hubby and I eat out a lot, so in my opinion, this is the worst if not one of the worst tasting food Id eaten in, and the worst service I have ever encountered.Of course, taste is subjective, and service can be different and depends on whos serving you. But for me, overall, a hundred thumbs down.
