We were here for a birthday dinner and had made a reservation ahead. The staff is very nice and friendly. We were seated and given enough time to decide on our orders. We ordered drinks, cocktails and soda. We ordered appetizers and main courses. We enjoyed the food, though it felt a little salty. We didnt go for any dessert as we had planned cake cutting at home. Overall, the service is great but the food made us bloated and hence I am not sure if I will go back here. I hope the feedback is taken and they could improve on their food. Otherwise, the ambience is good and the staff is very helpful and courteous and helpful.

After reading great reviews of this place thought of giving this place a try. Reached here at 9pm, 15 minutes before their closing time. Staff was courteous enough to seat us immediately and let us know about the last order.We ordered everything at one go and confirmed whether they will get the dishes out course by course, to which they said that they will bring the soup and the appetisers first and later will bring the entrée. However, the entrée was brought to the table right after the appetisers as a result there was no space on the table to put the dishes down and it was too congested. Anyways, the highlight of the dinner was that they started sweeping the floor, right next to us while we were still eating our appetisers.The food was good. The soup was really nice, the crispy corn was delicious however the drums of heaven was pretty average. Entrée was pretty decent too. Loved the hakka noodles and the pan fried noodles however the chilli chicken and the stir fried veggies were a let down for me.Overall, an average experience.Service -5/5Food- 3/5Overall- 3/5

Im reviewing this for a takeout order. They offer an extensive selection of food options, and while most of them are tasty, its worth noting that it leans toward the expensive side. However, we are frequent patrons because of the variety they offer.The pan-fried noodles are decent, while the Manchow soup is exceptionally good. The hot and sour soup is truly awesome, and the chili baby corn is quite enjoyable. The firecracker chicken and sizzling vegetables are very satisfying, and I have a strong preference for the sautéed vegetables in garlic sauce. The lettuce wraps with tofu are fantastic.They have a lot of other intriguing options to explore, so I definitely recommend giving this place a try

If youre a fan of Indian Chinese food, youve gotta hit up Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Their Pepper Chicken is just epic -The Chicken Momos, are just out of this world. And lets talk about those Shezwan Spicy Noodles and Fried Rice - they pack some serious punch and balance each other out so well.For dessert def. try their Mango Sherbet. Trust me, its like a little slice of heaven. And if you get Joe Cavallo as your server, youve hit the jackpot.Tell them you want the ‘Omair’ service and they’ll take real good care of you. Absolutely the worst Indo-Chinese food I’ve ever had.Our family came here to celebrate Mothers Day and after a 40 minute wait, we were seated at one of the many outside tables. That part is fine - slow service and a wait are expected on such a busy, popular day.The food however… atrocious! I cannot believe they are allowed to charge such absurd prices for serving sloppy, goopy, and bland food.The hot and sour soup was … definitely sour but in a distasteful way.The Manchurian coins were only 5 pieces in a vat of bland corn starchy gloop.The chili baby corn was undercooked and not crispy, so we ended up eating raw flour.The noodles were served sloppily and could have been replicated better at home with an instant noodle packet.Overall, we ended up spending $80 (no drinks) for one of the most disappointing meals of my life. I raised my concerns to the manager after the meal (since I didnt want any handouts) and instead got asked if I had ever eaten Indo-Chinese food (which, yes) before or if I had tried the alcoholic drinks which would be better.

The Indo Chinese food that originated from the bylanes of Tangra Kolkata, is also available in the California Bay area. I have visited the San Carlos outlet many times before this place opened in Fremont, CA. This has become the go-to place for all our celebrations. The food is consistently good.Things to note:1. On most weekends, this is a pretty busy place. This place can get loud with the open floor seating. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is probably not a good option.2. The fried ice cream is an amazing and satisfying dessert! Plan your food accordingly to leave some room for the dessert.3. If you are seated near the bar, you would probably end up trying one of their signature drinks, Sharbati Chuski! 😆Request to management:1. The sizzler (Kolkata Chicken) is a delicious dish. It would be great if this could be served with lids on top while bringing to the table.2. It would be great if you could add Kolkata style gravy noodles to the menu.

You know the foods good when the entire table stops talking just to focus on eating. The appetizers and entrees were fantastic. The dry cooked paneer were just right and the cauliflower Manchurian was crispy and flavorful. For the entree, spicy paneer tangra style made a good combination with the ginger bell pepper fried rice. Had to wait a while to get seated but once in, service was good.

One of the best indo Chinese food i have tried. I even tried the hottest dish they had, made out of one of the hottest pepper Naga pepper.I have a high tolerance for hot pepper, but this one was through the roof!!Any hot spice enthusiast, please try this dish and let me know 😉👍🏻Overall it was very good experience! Loved it! The closest you can get to indo-Chinese taste in Bay Area :) it was an impromptu plan bcz me & my husband were missing the indo-Chinese that we get back home (India street foods) and this place met our cravings far beyond our expectations.Special shout to “Sharabi chuski” cocktail. NooGoodenough to give you a happy buzz:PWe tried Calcutta chicken large plate, couple of cocktails, garlic noodles and fried ice cream.Calcutta chicken - gravy was great but chicken could have been better as it felt a bit over cooked but good taste overall. Great place to dine in. I had ordered Schezwan rice, cauliflower Manchurian, paneer chili (small portion), and soup. I enjoyed the taste of all the dishes I have ordered. The prices were similar to the restaurants around. They could expand the portions of other appetizers ordered. If you like Oriental cuisine I would definitely recommend this. They have drink options as well. The staff was very friendly, not too crowded during dinner timings. Easy to locate and a clean place to dine.

Ordered egg wrapped fried rice which was decent. Liked the egg wrapped around but the rice inside was mediocre. The other thing I ordered was veg garlic noodles was pretty good. 5/5 for the noodles. Apart from this, I ordered vegetable coin in Manchurian sauce. The sauce was very good but the vegetables coin was over fried and it tasted a little bitter. Overall good food though.

Came here a couple times and both instances had some amazing food with excellent service. Azhar was great to take care of us.Quality is pretty consistent across dishes.For starters, we tried the Gobi Manchurian and Pan fried Paneer. A+For the main course, we had Schezuan fried rice, Chilli Garlic Noodles and Veg coins in Manchurian sauce. A(+)Mazing!Warm Lava Chocolate Cake for Dessert is a must have. Triple Chocolate Cake is excellent.Kids happy, family happy! Enuf said!! :-)

Had got good recommendation for this place, hence visited. But was highly disappointed. The appetizer was decent in taste . But the entree. We had ordered Manchurian gravy and veg fried rice. They both were totally tasteless, there was no salt or seasoning. It was the worst Manchurian I have ever had. Since my kid was eating it, before we tasted, we felt it might be ok. But when we tasted we realized it was missing seasoning. When we called the waiter to tell about it, they way he reacted was as if we were asking to return half eaten food. His behavior is reason for reducing one more star. Surely not worth the money.

It is an indo Chinese inspired fine dine restaurant. The service is top notch. We tried a masala Limca which was really good- perfectly sweet and sour. We tried the munchow and hot & sour soup and both the soups were kind of bland. We had to add salt and schezwan chutney to make it spicy. It did not even have a lot of vegetables or garlic in it. It was more like a broth. Next we tried the classic vegetable coins in manchurian sauce and schezwan fried rice. The vegetable coins were really tasty but the schezwan rice was more like plain rice in red colour. There was no flavour or taste to it. For the desssert, we tried the fried ice cream which was served cold so kinds ruined the fun of it.Overall - the dine in experience is good but the food is just ok. The food is also kind of pricey for the taste and quantity.

I went there for the first time and I was happy with the reservation the restaurant holds!! I can also change if required!! Along with that I wanted to try something which we don’t order usually so choupsey with noodles was the perfect combination. In the end the freshly made lime soda was super awesome!! This is a great Asian fusion spot serving classic Indo-Chinese dishes that are really well done. We made a reservation ahead of time which was helpful for a busy Saturday evening. The ambience was great inside, lively but not overbearing or too crowded to impact service.We started with a couple of small eats - Gobi Manchurian and the baby corn dish. Note they say these are shareable, which it was but for 3 people it wouldnt hurt to order a bit more if hungry. We then got two big eats (family style, shareable) the schezuan fried rice with egg and paneer stir fry. The fried rice was top tier, not too spicy and really well done. The paneer stir fry was decent but not exactly what expected, felt a bit more liquid than I thought. I also got a fresh lime soda which was delightful. We didnt get to try their dessert menu but everything looked quite delectable.Overall, Id recommend this spot for a nice twist on classic Indian dishes and make a reservation to save time.

The kids really like the fried rice, noodles and chilli chicken. They also like the lollipop at checkout but then they are too young to realize one doesnt need to have a $100 dinner to get a 25c lollipop. This restaurant is more expensive than our usual haunts and we save it for when the kids have earned a reward or have guests. We enjoy the Chilli chicken, Chilli prawn, drums of heaven, fried rice and noodles. We did not like the pan fried Chilli fish or konji lamb too much. The chicken sizzler was interesting and nice as well. The music/TV is always loud and one needs to yell to be heard. Service is prompt and courteous. Only once they gave us Chilli chicken gravy instead of dry.

I must say if you are from Mumbai and craving for Chinese food then this is the place. Must try for Chinese food. For the price the quantity is worth it. This is the best place for Indo-Chinese food. Their food quality, portion size and presentation is excellent. We also tried their Lychee Martini and it was amazing. This place does serve the Indian adaptation of Chinese cuisine. The sharbati chuski is plain yummy and a great drink choice. The chilli chicken was done just right with its spicy chili sauce. Loved diving into the bowl of chicken chow mein!The decor is nothing out of the ordinary but the food is surprisingly good and definitely worth a try!

We ordered dry Chilli chicken and it was smelling sour literally sour and we complained the waiter about it, he just took it fried it and later he came to the table and asked about it we told it was better than previous, he just replied NEXT TIME DONT ORDER THIS THIS IS HOW WE MAKE WHICH WAS VERY RUDE. Perfect place for my corporate lunch.Surprised to see their food quantity this time (family dinner). Ordered sizzling chicken, had an amazing 20 min to find few pisces of chicken. Full off unevenly chopped vegies. Most important, food literally came as a manchurian chicken on a sizzler plate without sizzling.Same story for Calcutta chicken. Looks like there is a crisis with chicken, and someone was rushing to chop vegies.Deep fried icecream is a must have at this place. They kept that quality. Thank you! Not sure if I am gonna sit there for dine-in with family. But definitely takeaway the deepfried ice cream.One of my fav crafted places. My dining experience at this restaurant was truly disappointing. The food was terrible, offering no value for the money spent. We ordered chili chicken and veg schezwan fried rice as our entrees, but both dishes turned out to be an absolute disaster. The chili chicken tasted nothing like it should, and the chicken used was disappointingly stale. The veg schezwan fried rice lacked any vegetables and was essentially tasteless red rice with red chili flakes. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone, as it appears to be running a scam under the guise of an Indo Chinese restaurant with no authenticity whatsoever.

I enjoyed the dining experience. The food was delicious with the right amount of spices and sauces. We really liked their chicken sizzler. They have a good selection of veg and non veg options with family size portions. They also have a good selection of desserts. I would recommend making a reservation if going during the peak hours. I have been to this restaurant twice until now. Once with my husband & second time with my friends.I would definitely say its better to go off hours to get a good atmosphere or else it gets really busy & crowded with a lot of sounds of kids & family. We went early on a friday & had a great time.We have tried their sharabi chuski & some litchi drink. I liked gobi manchurian dry. We also ordered honey chili potatoes, which i would not recommend trying.In my recent visit, i would say appetizers were really good, but I was a little disappointed with the main course.I would recommend trying veg dumplings, dry cauliflower manchurian, pan-fried chili paneer.

Very disappointed. Went for business lunch with 6 of my colleages. Was happy to note that the restaurant was not so crowded. There were only 2 people serving the entire restaurant, our server was grumpy the entire time we were there. The food - was really bad. The chicken drums (lollipop) and the lamb was fried and refried so that it was chewy, became black and bitter. The shrimp was the same for appetizer and main course ( which had tons of sauce). The so called Chinese fried rice was prepared by extra-long either jasmine rice or basmati - seriously. The dessert was ok - nothing spectacular. The rates per dish expensive but please bring in some quality in the food, I am wondering why would you charge so much just because you all has success in the other location.Absolute bizzarre!!

Hi. I travel a lot and I like to explore good places. I wanted to try the Indo Chinese place in Fremont and looking at the reviews I thought I would try red hot chilli pepper. I am not exaggerating but the food was horrible. Every item had a very bad oily after taste. I had my dish replaced twice but still it was very bad. In addition to the bad food experience I had a very bad stomach ache/ diarrhoea and it was horrible. I generally do not give 1 star reviews but this place truly deserves a 1 star review. I will write to the department of food health and safety to seriously inspect the quality of oil and other ingredients that this restaurant is using. Sad to see an Indian restaurant serve poor quality food.

I had my farewell party with my girlfriends. One of the best Gobi Manchurian I have tasted in bay area you must try it. Taste similar like what you get in India. We also ordered cauliflower Manchurian in sauce, chilly babycorn, Vegetable momo dumpling, chilly garlic noodles was so delicious. The worst food available in Bay Area. I had the misfortune of going there. Ordered Momos, tasted like Traders Joes Momos, served after being microwaved. Ordered a NZ lamb. They flipped the order and gave me another Lamb dish. It tasted like smoked LAMB with a lot of Salt and Soya in it. Worst food ever. I asked them for a replacement. Gave me fried rice, with no flavor at all. I still had to pay for the Lamb, which was priced higher. No Apologies, nothing, Pleas stay away from this place. The only bright spot was their Noodles.

The food here is very disappointing. Not on the standards of regular RHCP. The apetizers were good. But the main course really sucks. We order vegetable coins in manchurian sauce, The sauce was very gooey and sticky, like its made by a first timer who cooked. The veg fried rice was disappointing too. The rice was too bland, zero flavours and really half cooked. We eat at san carlos location and compared to it, this location is not all upto standards.

The food was insipid and nowhere close to what we identified RHCP’s food to be. One example was the chicken sizzler - laden with a tasteless sauce and full of vegetables including broccoli and you had to literally look hard to find chicken. Here are our ratings (3 adults) and comments regarding each item.We paid over $130 in total for 4 drinks (2 mocktails, 2 juices), 3 appetizers (fries, hot and sour soup, chilli chicken), 3 entrees (hakka noodles, szechwan fried rice and chilli chicken gravy) .The overall ambiance of the restaurant was okay. Dim light, music and chit chat of other customers in the store. The food arrived a bit late. We were first served our mocktails and juices 15 minutes after ordering, followed by appetizers after 10 minutes, than mains 20 minutes after that. I asked for no scallions or cilantro in our food which they listened to and nothing arrived with either in it. Staff was nice.We won’t be going in again, just because we expected it to be better for the price we paid. I’ll stick to Inchins Bamboo Garden (similar price and serving sizes but much better flavors)Chilli Chicken dry - 6/10, wasn’t hot and fresh, chicken was chewyChicken hot and sour soup- 8/10, hot, flavorful but had minced chicken instead of traditional shredded chicken pieces. I didn’t like that.Szechwan fried rice- 6/10 the chicken added in both noodle and rice were the same kind, had an intense chicken smell and not much flavor.Chicken Hakka noodles- 5/10, had an intense chicken smell and taste with every chicken bite and was lacking flavor. I prefer my hakka noodles with thicker noodles and these were thinner noodles normally used for garlic chilli noodles (maybe thats just me or thats how I grew up eating hakka noodles in Canada).Chilli chicken with gravy - 7/10, did what it’s supposed to but again, it was overpriced for the portion and flavor.

TL;DR Indifferent service, tepid food. They have no redeeming quality.I got food catered from them once. I dined at their place recently and I got take-out on another occasion. The food has consistently been bland and unappetizing. That they automatically added an 18% tip makes no sense.

We started off with the chili tofu (vegan version of chili paneer) but it was very unimpressive. The portion was tiny for the price, and the tofu was quite flavourless. Clearly they prepared it the same way as they would have prepared paneer, without understanding the difference between the two - the tofu should either have been marinated, or cut in smaller pieces with a larger surface area on which to coat the sauce…The veg manchurian coins & Hakka noodles were decent and the portions were reasonable, but nothing to write home about - still very overpriced given the standard, and definitely nowhere near as tasty as Indo-chinese restaurants in India. It is a popular restaurant, supposedly - maybe we just ordered the wrong items…The service was good though.

We stumbled upon this place and were pleasantly surprised. Tasty Indo-Chinese dishes, we would definitely come back again. Our party tried most of the soups and vegetarian small plates. Munchow soup and dry cauliflower Manchurian were the favorites. Our server Joe was great, service was very fast and everything tasted freshly made.

I went here for the 1st time last week. I never heard the term Indian Chinese Cuisine. The person I went with did all the ordering.The food was good and pretty tasty. Sorry that I don’t remember the dishes that we had. I know we had the fried Cauliflower and with their Fried Rice and a Shrimp Dish with a type of sweet and savory sauce. The only dish I ordered were the dumplings and they were just ok. Nothing special like I thought they might be.If you want a flavorful experience and are in the area you should stop by and visit. Excellent service and great food!! Came here on a Friday night with a group of friends and we all loved it! The place was completely full with a long wait outsidebut the host and servers were amazing in their service. They actually make you feel pampered! The host recommended their signature cocktail - Sharabi Chuski - and it was awesome 👌. The food was very fresh and by far the best Indo Chinese in the bay area.

Order Hunan Chicken and Garlic Spicy noodles (was able to get rice noodles) and Brown Rice. Food was excellent. The noodles were pretty spicy. The Hunan was not as spicy, yet it’s gravy was flavorful. Atmosphere and service was very nice. We enjoyed our night out for dinner.

Went there with a lot of expectations for the Wedding Anniversary.1. The place is crowded, so dont expect any privacy.2. Took 30 minutes for them to serve us the starter after placing the order.3. The staff is so busy that they just keep the food/plates/utensils on your table and run back. They wont serve you.4. The food is served warm not hot. Loved this place. Ive been a big fan of the Sam Carlos location and was trying the Fremont location for the first time. We were a group of 7. Very prompt and unintrusive service. Drinks, appetizers, soup and main course were all great. Desserts, specifically the fried ice cream stole the thunder - - it was amazing! Highly recommend to check this place out.

We had one very negative experience.Ordered food for a work gathering. I vouched for the food and ordered from RHCP. One of the dish, vegetables in hot garlic sauce... tasted bland. We found that they had not added any spices or key ingredients at all. Even after following up multiple times, no acknowledgement or response. Very sad indeed.

First of all, I really was hoping this place would provide delicious food as indo-chinese restaurants are difficult to find (I mean just indo-chinese). However, I was really disappointed when I tested their food. I ordered fried rice, chilli fish, crispy lamb, chilli vegetables, 2 soups. The hot and sour soup was the only thing we liked. The fried rice had a burning smell, vegetables was soggy and the taste was awful, chilli fish was too sweet, corn soup too sweet and lamb was not crispy at all. I am not sure whether they are always like this but my experience is very bad.

Decided to try this restaurant for the first time this evening with my wife and our 3 year old daughter. We were greeted very friendly by the staff at the front. Our waiter Joe was very friendly, especially with our daughter and even asked what her name was and she replied with Im *Name* the Big Girl. Our daughter is always quick to let grownups know that shes a big girl 😁 and throughout the dinner, Joe would refer to her as Big Girl. The food came out very quick, within 10 minutes of ordering and it was very good! The one star is for their veg hakka noodles, and that is it. None of the other dishes I tried was even close to good. Most of all, we ordered calculla chicken, and they served us a sizzler plate, where the description was completely different from the menu. When asked, our server/owner said thats how the dish is, even when it was clearly not. Just so that one does not ask for the correct dish, they went on to protect their lies saying we are served what we ordered. Pathetic experience. I know it is bay area and all, but people should demand for better food and not be complacent because they do not have an option in the area. Highly disappointed!

This is my top most favourite Indo Chinese food restaurant. They have amazing food specially there Soups are mouthwatering 😋. I would just say that even if you are driving 50 miles for there food you gotta trust me it would be worth it. Servers are very polite and humble. Great customer service :)
