It’s one of the best Indian vegetarian restaurants I visited in California. Ambiance is pretty good and hygienic. Delicious food with quick delivery and awesome service. I recommend every vegetarian food lover to try this restaurant and I hope you will not be disappointed.

I’ve tasted almost every item that’s available here other than some rice stuff . It’s a decent, cost friendly South Indian themed restaurant with very limited dine inn area. Food available here are full n full vegetarian stuff. I won’t say the food is delicious but they all taste good. This place is moderately crowded during weekdays and heavily crowded during weekends. If you are planning to visit this place during weekends better be prepared for some waiting to get seated. Paratha is my favorite especially the kurma and raitha that comes with it . I was ecstatic to find this place by accident, for some reason it doesnt show up as being vegetarian/vegan. Its a vegetarian restaurant, with many vegan options and the kitchen was accommodating enough to leave off cream/butter. Everything was fresh and well prepared, comfortable seating and very reasonably priced. They really need to have a better online presence and list themselves as vegetarian.

VEGANS, DO NOT EAT HERE, YOU MIGHT BE EATING REAL MEAT: the young kids who work the register do not care about their job and they do not care if you are vegan. The two young kids that work there are consistently very rude and on their phones while working. I understand that they are kids but we’ve been very patient with them. My friend ordered the VEGAN cubano and the girl working had to be told the order 3 separate times because she simply was not paying attention. she also had headphones in while taking all of the people’s orders I brought to their restaurant. My friend who is a VEGAN of 10 + years ate REAL MEAT today. He was DEVASTATED. And he THREW UP EVERYTHING THE SECOND WE GOT HOME. I felt very let down and disrespected (I never leave negative reviews.) however, I have been given REAL MEAT TWICE NOW AFTER CLEARLY ORDERING VEGAN SANDWICHES. And the young kids that work their SIMPLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER OR IF YOU GET REAL MEAT. I have been eating at mundos since 2014. Although the owner came out and personally apologized, I still feel the need to leave this review because it is not fair to people who have food allergies to real meat, people who don’t eat meat for religious or cultural reasons and vegans/vegetarians!!!!As a vegetarian of 8 + years, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to you if you are considering ordering a vegan sandwich.

Chhat Bhavan in Fremont /Mowery is always full and has waiting period of 5 to 20 minutes. Staff here works very well to get you table as quickly as possible. Chaat Bhavan actually is one of the first few good vegetarian restaurant that started offering only vegetarian dishes. We had good time again yesterday night. My kids also enjoy Indian veg food here.appetizers are so yummy and delivers value for $$, we satisfied our hunger with appetizers variety only.Seating arrangement is bit tight and quite often you are overhearing other tables conversation.

1-star because google doesn’t allow negative. Palo Alto branch is much better than Fremont. Visited on Sunday noon for lunch. Slow service and wait time just to place the order. We ordered everything vegetarian. Food served was tasteless, bland and cold, got it microwave heated upon request. Chilli garlic noodles had no taste of garlic and/or chilli. Same with ginger and bell pepper rice. It was really hot and noisy atmosphere inside restaurant. Ignorant staff. We paid $100 (party of 3) Just for disappointment.

This place turned out to be a big disappointment. I had ordered chicken shwarma from the family meal section where they clearly mention serves 5-6 people. While placing the order also I made sure what I was ordering but what I got was just the shwarma meat and nothing else! The website needs to mention clearly that this is just the shwarma meat and not shwarma. Even a simple Google search will show what a shwarma is! And this is not the 1st time that I have ordered chicken shwarma but it was the first and last time from this restaurant. They didnt even try to help me when I told them while picking the order. The attitude was this is what it is! The meat was also bland in taste and lacked flavour.The website needs to clear what they serve in their menu and not write unclear terms for an item.

Bad experience with worst staff (tortoise).I ordered 3 items and been waiting for 30 minutes but I never received my order. And they said they are short with the staff. I can see four people working there. 1 among them was just laughing by seeing the crowd when we are requesting for food. He is an Taco Bell employee and just relaxing on table by saying that he is on break and smiling without least concern about food being late. It's not just only for me everyone were waited fir 20+ min to see the response on their order.And their is a lady who don't know how to operate the system. She is always checking out for the help, how can they make her to be at front desk when she don't have any idea and making her tense at desk.It's not about their fault, it's about the management and hiring team by taking such employees into work who are least bothered about customers.I don't have rating to give for food because I did not receive my food even after 30 min. I requested them to cancel my order and refund. Worst part is without any apology or asking for few minutes they cancelled my order by taking someone help how to refund and finally refunded by taking extra 5 min. Totally 40 minutes almost came out without food and cancelled transaction.
