I went to TKumi and got the popcorn chicken ramen as well as a thai tea. I always get the thai tea here because it’s so good! This was the first time i’ve tried the ramen and it was delicious. It came with lots of noodles as well as popcorn chicken. I would definitely come here again as the service and food are great

I am known on Google for my honest reviews, so here is another one, I think the food is a solid 4 out of 5 its not great bit its good and the price is reasonable too. I liked the food and the variety of drinks. The environment is really good too I think you will have a good time

There food is superb. It is the best ramen i have had. i ordered cheesy tonkotsu ramen with pork belly and my wife had spicy tonkotsu with soft shell crab. both were excellent and large portions for the price. we also had pomegranate strawberry tea with rainbow boba. it was also delicious and i was suprised how large the cup was. i will definitely be back again

Its tasty, you have to open your egg first because doing so makes the broth thicker. For Tonkatsu ramen its very thin broth. Personally I like a thicker both, taste wise it did not disappoint. The noodles and thick and tough not soggy which is good, you can let your ramen sit for a while to soften the noodles to your likeing. This is my second time getting ramen here so for its consistent and I appreciate that. Its also very clean inside, its has chairs and tables inside to sit down and eat but its set more for take out. The employees are also all very nice and inviting great people skills so Id go again and Id recommend it to others👍Oh and the images below are what I got, the black garlic tonkatsu with pork chashu, it has a smoky taste compared to og tonkatsu

Delicious! I love their boba drink called the “honey moon”- it’s so pretty and is super yummy too. I got their tempura ramen in the photo: but I recommend the tonkotsu one, as I’m not sure how I feel about the sogginess of tempura sitting in broth. I’ve always been able to find a table at this place even thought it gets quite busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Davis, the ramen is so yummy!

Wanted to try a local spot and came to t-kumi! Ordered the pork katsu rice bowl and a thai tea and both were really delicious! The pork katsu was super fresh and crispy and was unexpectedly juicy. I really liked the pickled radish side too. The thai tea is actually better than some boba shops and wasn’t too sweet. Overall would recommend and would come again if craving a good katsu!

Ordered food for delivery. There was no meat in 2 of our 3 ramens. Super disappointed. Broth was ok. Probably wouldnt go back. There are better places close by

I will be honest because i assume that is what we are here for.The food is oily and cheap(quality not price). The cost is the opposite of cheap. Its weird because this place could occupy such a solid niche of being low medium quality food and cheap price. Perfect for a college town, right? Right?Instead the price is like unreasonably high for what they know is low quality food. We arent mad about low quality high price food because we are used to that capitalist abuse, but more just dissapointed they dont occupy the niche they clearly should be filling.Spent $70 for two people.God love them.

Finally! Ive been wanting to come here for years and Im so glad that they have survived the pandemic as so many places have not, and Im able to taste their menu at last. Very clean establishment. We were a little confused when we entered as to where we were supposed to order, but figured it out. I had spicy tonkastu ramen with tempura shrimp. YUM

Been here before and their only redeeming part was the popcorn chicken. It was amazing. Went back today and they completely changed it. Literally gave us chicken nuggets. Wont be returning and I hope they close so something decent can take over

Its ok for a ramen place. First its pretty pricy for what you get. (This umami beef bowl and drink cost about 16 dollars and change. I wouldnt have minded if it was amazing but it really wasnt worth the price) I had two other friends with me who got cheese tonkatsu ramen and one regular. The only difference was that the cheese ramen just had cheap parmesan sprinkled on top of it. They both tasted pretty bland and there wasnt a whole lot of flavor to them. My drink (pomegranate strawberry) tasted like very weak tea. The three of us agreed not to come back to this place. The customer service was very good as the workers were friendly hence the extra star. For good ramen, Id go to Raijin in Sacramento and Yakitori Yuchan in Davis.

The portions of food you typically get are well worth your money, especially when you order a ramen with a side dish. That being said, the ramen is a little bland, in my opinion, but still hits the spot if youre just looking for a quick meal. The snacks are pretty good, too. Ive ordered the calamari and fries before. The Thai tea was surprisingly strong and not watery at all. Theres free wifi and always a random movie playing on the TV, so its a nice place to hang out and grab a bite.

Really enjoyed it here. My first time visiting was on Sunday. I have my bowl pictured without broth. I took it on the road with me. Very good ramen. They forgot my fish cake which I specifically asked for but I still enjoyed my meal. They also forgot to provide utensils for me so my husband had to run all the way back upstairs for them which was kind of a bummer but we dont live in Davis so it was necessary.

First time eating here and my wife and I loved it! She got the seafood ramen and I got the teriyaki chicken rice bowl and we got the calamari. She loved the ramen, she said there was a lot of seafood. The teriyaki chicken rice bowl was packed with rice, chicken and broccoli, its a lot of food, I was full after eating it. The calamari was really good, we got it mild, but it didnt have any spicy to it, well order it again. They have different sauces you can choose from the self serve table where theres chop sticks, forks, napkins, toothpicks and more. The employees were all extremely polite and helpful. Were definitely going back soon!

It was crowded about half an hour before closing, I ordered a pork belly rice bowl and a honey moon drink, despite the long line and being told that our food might take up to half an hour, we got our food pretty quickly so that was good, the food tasted amazing, but I didnt get my drink and had to ask for it. Apparently they ran out of that flavor so they made me a different one, and the manager apologized profusely for the extra wait. I was overall pretty happy with the service but it would have been better if they had told me that they were out of the flavor when I was ordering. Ill still come back though, its worth it.

This is place is good. I actually have enjoyed the two times me and my wife came to eat. I brought my niece and nephew hear a week ago and they enjoyed it too. My niece is a big ramen fan but what really stole the show was the strawberry banana slushy with mango boba. She even wanted to take another one for the road 🤣

This place is amazing. Tasty ramen and chic setup. The place is super clean and a friendly environment. (Sometimes the food taste better when the people that work there are nice).If you like spicy, try their homemade chili oil.I normally get the spicy tonkotsu with soft shell crab and spam (yes, i am a fatty).Also the Green Thai Tea is unique, normally Thai tea is Orangeish, but its cool and taste great. Will continue to be back FOR SURE.

Many restaurants in Davis tend to disappoint in one way or another; small portions (I am a 6 ft tall male), uninteresting, uninspired, and less than delicious food, or poor service. Tkumi does not disappoint in any way. Their staff were very nice, and hard working. Their food was very delicious, and very reasonably priced for both the portion size, and the quality of the food, most dishes are < $10. Their ramen broth is savory, and full of flavor, their ingredients taste fresh, and prepared by hand. This place is a little bit out of the way of central Davis, but it is 100% worth trying.

I was there last night with my family and they wrongly charged me with a 30% tip even though I clearly pressed NO TIP on the screen. I hate to state the obvious but It appears after reading similar comments from 2 posters, my experience may not be a benign or innocuous event. I called them out on it and the manager promptly refunded my entire bill and recharge the correct amount. No matter how others claim how good the food was, AVOID THIS PLACE, NOT WORTH THE HASSLE arguing incorrect charging. As for the food quality, I wouldnt know. I lost my appetite afterwards.

Chicken teriyaki was dry and lacked taste. Asked for extra teriyaki sauce and they were out!!! It seems they pre-assembled the bowls. It was not cooked to order. I guess the lesson learned here at this place is to not to order anything but ramen here. Also, many of the customers claimed tables before ordering. Very rude. They need to enforce a rule that you cannot grab a table until after ordering. My wife and daughter had the ramen and said it was alright and nothing special. I must say the wait staff and cashier were very pleasant. Will not return.

I would have come back later, or waited outside instead of a standing in front of the counter, in a crowd of people trying to socially distance as best as they could.
