The five star goes to the tofu soup! This will be my new favorite Korean place to eat. For anyone who’s gonna dine here you MUST try the tofu soup 100% recommended. The Korean roll is also one of my favorite. The soup and the roll is always a must get for me when I go there. We also got the beef Kimbap but it was a little too salty for me. Besides that everything else is okay. Will always be back for the tofu soup and Korean roll😙😙

Food is great!! Service a little slow but it goes with atmosphere of just being chill. We paid 28.99 for the beef bulgogi, 11.99 for kimbap and I believe 14.99 for the fried rice. Server was very attentive

Food was really good and tasty. Abalone porridge was fantastic. Beef Cabbage soup very delicious. Galbi cooked perfectly thou its a bit pricey for the serving they provide. Server was very attentive and nice. Overall, well come back.

Yei San Jib offers some of the most authentic and delicious Korean cuisine ever. The food is made with great care and hard work. The service is impeccable, very courteous and friendly. Words do not describe my love and respect for this place. You simply must try it yourself.

My family enjoys coming here and it was THE late night spot to be going. My sisters had already ate, but I was craving it so we decided to go.Wow. I do not recommend coming here at this time unless you want your mood to be spoiled by the service.We ordered and Helen gave us an unbelievable amount of attitude in a condescending manner because we just ordered a beef combo. Insinuating we did not order enough and scoffed when I said that was all. We were not given all the side dishes and only noticed upon looking at the other tables. We were given two bowls of rice when we had requested three. I decided to not mention this because we felt like it was enough. When I took a look at the check we were charged for two bowls when the combo comes with one.When I mentioned this, we saw that Helen was going to grab another bowl of rice and give it to us after we had finished our meal. The other server had stopped her and she begrudgingly fixed it. We felt very uncomfortable and disappointed.We had such good memories of this place throughout the years and to say that we are disappointed is an understatement. I hope management does something about the service.

This was my first visit to this place. I arrived at 10 PM, and there was a decent number of customers already. We were seated promptly and given the menu. I decided to try the bossam, which I had never had before, and I ordered it as a combo with the sulungtang. The bossam was absolutely delicious! It tasted great with the lettuce, pickled radish, and the brown sauce (I dont know its name). Each bite of the bossam, followed by a sip of the hot sulungtang, was exactly what I needed on a late night. I will definitely return to this place!

I ordered hot and spicy goat soup and kimchi fried rice. After 2-3 bites I felt something sharp in my throat. I told the male worker in the front and he asked me if I tried the dish before and proceed to ask why did I order it if I never had it. I dont know why he worried about that more than me swallowing a sharp object from their food. I went to the bathroom and checked and saw a small sharp object in my throat. I walked out and my table was cleared and no one came to ask if I was okay. I waited to tell them but no one wanted to leave the kitchen so I decided to leave for ER. I ordered the cold noodle to go. After picking it up and bringing it home I noticed there was no soup. I called back and the restaurant told me that I ordered the wrong cold noodle. The menu description is misleading between the cold noodle and the spicy cold noodle. The spicy is dry and cold is with soup. When I ordered I told the restaurant to put the spicy sauce on the side, they probably assumed I wanted dry cold noodles. The only difference between the two is the soup and the price is the same. The restaurant was not willing to offer soup if I go back to pick it up. This restaurant does not have hospitality in mind to treat the customer to make them happy. I am very dissatisfied and will not order from them again.

Galbi portion in the combo is stingy albeit flavorful and tender. Seafood pancake is an absolute DOUBLE THUMB-DOWN! Itd better be justifiably renamed VEGETABLE PANCAKE instead since there is hardly any seafood in it at all, not too mention the flour is doughy. Yes, $2.50 charge for rice. I regret visit to this place. There are better Korean restaurants in the neighborhoods like Young Dong. You have been warned.

Im in LOVE with Korean food! This place is open 24/7 and always hits the spot for my son and I when we are craving a late night snack. The portions can be split between 2-3 people. The kimchi fried rice is my favorite paired with the bulgogi. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food feels like a home cooked meal every time! The only downside it the parking is pretty tight. If its a weekend night, youll have to wait a bit for a parking spot to open up.

Yei San Jib is one of the best authentic Korean restaurants I’ve ever been to. They accommodate you with excellent etiquette and courtesy. The service couldn’t be better. 5 stars is not enough for how much I enjoyed this place. 100% must try. Amazing and delicious. These people work hard and it shows through their cuisine.

I cant help but reiterate how genuine and gracious this generous restaurant is. Whether it is the packaging itself, the food quality and taste, or the sentiments Im reminded of when eating the food. The restaurant seems like changed the owner and chefs that originally were Korean. Now is like a Chinese restaurant other than a Korean. Foods were changed taste was different and smaller portion. The opening hour has changed as well.

Came here for dinner on New Years Day. We had a group of 7 and this was the only place with open tables in the plaza. The waitress is very friendly and helpful. The menu is in English, Korean, and Chinese. We ordered hot pot, BBQ pork, kimchi fried rice and spicy squid. Everything is great. Great time there.

Im on vacation from maryland and we dont have much authentic Korean food around the area. I was craving some authentic Korean food and came across yei jib san. I ordered galbi and dukbugki and this is by far the best Korean food Ive had since Ive been here. I would recommend this place to anyone. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the food.

The food is very different from before. I ordered budae-jjigae, and this is my first time seeing budae-jjigae like this. Its just kimchi soup, and its definitely not budae-jjigae. Whats clear is that they dont use the ingredients that should be in budae-jjigae. This food is just kimchi soup with 2-4 pieces of ham. If you order budae stew, you are wasting your money. But the beef jerky at this store is okay.

I dont know if the person working is the owner, but hes very rude and seems like hes forcing his work...When I got home, I found that I had just added wilted vegetables without washing them. Its such a hearty and delicious place that I want to eat here at 1:00 a.m., and on some days I want to go there twice during my stay in Lauren Heights.
