I wish the food was as good as the service. The hosts in this restaurant were very mindful of our needs, they were quick to notice that we needed water, and tissues. The hot and sour soup was tangy, and tasty. I struggled with the spicy chicken, it was excessively sweet. The batter for fried shrimps was too thick, bland, and not seasoned at all. The fried rice was lumpy, and undercooked.

We were in the neighborhood and for the first time we decided to eat @ Yeung Shing. Were glad we did. Because the service, staff and food were awesome!All the dishes were delicious but my new favorite is the Singapore Chow Mi Fun!It reminded me of a popular dish from the Philippines, called Pancit. It had lots of stir fried vegetables, chicken, pork and shrimp. I asked for to be mild so Im assuming thats why they didnt include the curry sauce.Also,the staff wore traditional Chinese attire which was a nice touch.

They are gonna be rich soon or maybe they already are. Ordered chicken something served with lettuce leaves. It came with only 4 pieces of lettuce leaves. I asked more. They get me 2 pieces mote and charged me $1.80 for it. Later I found 2 wholesome of lettuce are 99 cents. Yes I know the price of everything has gone up. But this is little too much. Salty meat with very small amount of veggie? Not a good idea.

The food was as bland as it can be. All 8 of us were very surprised seeing the reviews of this place is what we used to find it. The service is just ok with minimal smiles or hospitality. The clientele here is definitely those that know nothing better with over sensitive taste buds. Their chicken dishes look better on photo but really fatty and oily. Yukk. Their onion pancake is super crispy and not flaky and also has no kind of taste. It’s a waste of time and calories.

About 30 years ago I used to go to this amazing Chinese restaurant called “Royal Garden” they had amazing food and fantastic chicken salad. They have been closed for over 20 years and I have been in search of a chicken salad with that caliber. Well, I finally found it after hundreds of restaurants later. This place is clean, friendly and have a real good Chinese food. Amazing chicken salad is back. :)

A perfect neighborhood escape. My food is always fresh, crispy, and delicious. Love the pieces of orange peel in the orange chicken. Everybody is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Parking in the shopping center can be your biggest hindrance!

I ordered sizzling Rice soup for delivery and they mashed the rice into the soup instead of separating like every other Chinese restaurant I ever have order to go from. They must be cheap with their containers. Anyways it so it absorbed all the broth. When I called they said it was my problem for not stating. So sizzling rice isnt really sizzling if you order to go from here. I will never order from here again.

I really enjoy this place for a quick filling dinner. The entrees are family portions so make sure you order for the table and not yourself, unless you want meals for the next two days! However the choice of Merican Chinese cuisine are what youd expect, but much better than any random place. Everything Ive had is great.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for many years. Good food and kind servers. The owner is extremely personable and very kind to all of her customers. I have had a party here once and they do great in offering all kinds of food for your event. They are very accommodating to what food you like and how you like your food cooked. I’ve never had an issue here. They give fast takeout and are very consistent in their fresh food. Their chicken won ton soup is particularly amazingly good. A must try. I recommend this restaurant highly. Lots of parking spaces and many handicapped spots are available. A great lunch spot, especially.

One of my favorite Asian restaurants in the Bay area. It has a nice modern decor and feels cozy which is partly because its not a very large place. The food is always excellent. The soups and the fried rice are superior to the typical Chinese restaurants. If you go at lunch, park in the back as the main parking lot can get full.

The soup had so much salt in it my woman had a reaction. Someone with a blood pressure monitor let her borrow it and this was the result. The tea tasted nasty because the water was not filtered. And in general the food was just bad!When brought to the attention to the staff about the Excessive salt content in the soup they did not want to replace it or refund it when it was not edible. They wanted to negotiate 50% off. I would just advise to stay out of this place. It looks extremely beautiful... but no one goes to a restaurant for looks if the food is trash and the Staff dont care!!!

Food has improved from COVID times, but service was the worse. The waiter yelling to the customers that he is by himself does not do any good for the restaurant... In top of that being extremely rude while taking orders or delivering them to the table. What a way to loose customers....

I pass this place a lot and finally decided to try it. It was simply okay. Some items were quite pricy in my opinion, you also have to pay for rice. I got kung pao chicken and my partner got sesame chicken. KPC was spicy but bland. Sesame was good. Crab Rangoons were good just could have used more filling. I wouldn’t recommend to a friend or go back.

The lunch was exceptional! We had the hot n sour soup, clay pot, kung pau chicken, mapo tofu and Szechuan seafood. The dishes were very delicious and well-seasoned, made with fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend (and we are Asian.)

Best Chinese food Ive had thus far. We had veggie chow mein, chow fun, shrimp and tofu and eggplant. Everything was perfect. The spring rolls were crisp and the vegetables were fresh and not mushy. Hot and sour soup was veggie base too so vegetarians have many options here! Overall great food with no bad taste afterward and great service! Highly recommend

BEWARE!! inspect very well what you order at this chinese restaurant .. today 12/13/22, I ordered #12 on the menu lunch special (beef with tofu). I chewed on something I thought was a chunk of bone. I SHOCKINGLY discovered a black piece of sharp ended wire! about a centimeter long!....I picked it out with my fingers and poked my lunch buddys hand with it and he reacted saying thats a sharp piece of wire!. I called on the asian waiter (the tall one) and showed him first what I found in my order and poked his hand with the wire, too, so he understands how sharp that object was in the food that he just served. The deadpan looking waiter with no apologies whatsoever just said oh let me make you a new plate. Upon paying the check, the nerve of that waiter still charged me for my order and he never apologize. Very poor customer service. Never going back to that restaurant with a dirty kitchen ever again.

Ive eaten there several times and always thought the food was great until the last time I was there a couple of weeks ago, I decided to use their bathroom which is right next to their kitchen. They had a plate of some type of raw or marinated meat out in the hallway ready to be cooked, and flies were all over the meat. After seeing that, they wont be seeing me there any longer.

Very disappointed in the food. The Chinese chicken salad was wilted when it got here. The deep fried prawns had too much dough on them and the fried won ton were not fresh. There was no filling and the fried wrappers were very thick and hard. They had to be days old. Overall, I spent $75.00 and didn’t eat hardly any of it

This has been a go to place for us for a while, but this last time the soup and one of the dishes we ordered was pretty bland compared to what we have had in the past here. In general, very fast service and courteous servers, so will definitely go there again. They have all the regular Chinese food on the menu, so you will not miss out on anything that you have a craving for.

I love Yeung Shing. You can’t get Egg Foo Young everywhere and it was delicious. I also had the house fried rice which I found very tasty. And lastly, pot stickers that were perfect. I’m having leftovers today for lunch and it’s all as delicious as it was yesterday. I couldn’t be happier. Everyone was very friendly and nice. I took my order home, but sometimes I eat there. I’ve never been disappointed.

I have no idea what some of these people are thinking. This place is excellent and the service is great!! We love the Sesame Beef, Won Ton Soup, Lemon Chicken and Pork Fried Rice, as well as many other dishes weve tried. If you like Cantonese style cuisine, give it a try. Probably, one of the worst chinese restaurants I have ever been and this is coming from a person who rarely gives a bad rating. I ordered szechuan chicken and they gave something that I would definitely describe as sweet and sour chicken. At first I thought they just messed up my order but I ordered it again (by actually going into the restaurant) and I got literally the same thing. They just use the same sauce for almost every dish. Very disappointing coz this is one place is really close to where I live.

The food is ok. I got the spicy fish, which is deep fried and kind of looks like tempura in a way. The fish itself was good but the batter on it makes it quite heavy and it was anything but spicy. I was a little disappointed but the other two dishes we got were better.Ill have to order something else next time.

Great food. A little pricey and the take out boxes are getting smaller. As with most the best value is lunch. Will never understand why you dont get rice with your meat selection. In the south you always get white rice or fried rice with your meat selection. They dont let you buy a small amount either you have to purchase an entire order of rice to get some. Always thought Chinese ate their food with rice. Strange.

Hot and Sour Soup was one small step below the best I have ever had! Seriously, it was awesome and almost had me crying because it so much like what it is supposed to be...not too thin, sour/tangy, spicy. Would go back to this restaurant just for this soup. Perfect.Mongolian Beef was near the top of my list of best Ive ever had. Tender beef and as there should always be - there were the little white ricey noodles under the meat and onions. Slightly sweet sauce. Maybe a bit too much onions, or else I was just a little to sensitive from still reeling over the soup.Beef and Broccoli was good as were the Chicken dish we got and the House-made Tofu dish. These though were shadowed by the first two.A little trouble in communication of our orders, but not a big deal.Very nice place which made me feel a bit underdressed in jeans and t-shirt, but not really an issue. I just felt like I should be dressed better. Could be remnants of the soup.I would highly recommend this restaurant which is not usual for me in terms of recommending Chinese restaurants other than Peking in Athens, GA - that restaurant by which I judge all others.

I have been here many times over the last few years and was recently reminded how great the food is when they became a part of the the lunch catering rotation at the company I work for. Most Chinese restaurants in the area have more or less the same typical selection but Yeung Shing is definitely among my favorites as ingredients seem a bit fresher and more flavorful than some competitors. Service is great. The staff seems like they take pride in their restaurant which is apparent even when stopping in for take out. Its located in a small strip mall which includes several other restaurants, shops and offices. Its often crowded parking and its easy to miss from the street but its worth the effort. Prices are average, a little higher than your run of the mill corner Chinese take-out spot but definitely worth it.

When I came here a few years ago, I didnt like the food. However, the ownership must of changed, because now the food is some of the best Chinese food in the valley (my fav is Mandarin Gourmet in Cupertino.) It is not inexpensive, but it is worth it. I love the Honey Walnut Prawns, Sesame Chicken, MuShu Pork, Mongolian Beef, and just about everything else. The service is prompt and friendly. The restaurant itself is a nice place to have a meal in, but the take-out is very efficient and packaged well.

This is our FAVORITE Chinese restaurant. The food is delicious and everyone is so friendly. Weve never once had a mistake with our order, and the food is always fresh. Our favorites are the BBQ pork fried rice (best in the area), orange chicken, mu shu pork, broccoli beef, pot stickers, chicken chow mein, and chicken salad. Sometimes the salad is a bit strong (can clear out your sinuses!) but still delicious. We like to both order take-out and dine-in, depending on the occasion. They are accommodating even when we have family get-togethers with lots of children. Portions are are good size; not too much so a variety can be ordered, but usually enough to have at least a little to take home.

Been there 3 times now. Its pretty good. The broccoli dish was saturated in a salty garlic sauce which almost made it impossible to eat. The kung pao chicken was good, and the staff gets extra points for making mine spicy by dicing up jalapeño peppers in addition to the regular bell peppers they use. Service is so-so. Value? One person ordered a kung pao dinner, a broccoli side, a side of sticky rice and one Tsing Tao beer. Came out to $34.44 without tip. 2 stars for value for the buck.

I went with my family and ordered multiple entrées, chicken with basil, schezwan chicken, crispy chicken, and sesame chicken. This was one of the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Some of the dishes even tasted the same and the only difference being the dressings like sesame seeds and bell peppers. Seriously, save some money and eat in Panda Express.

Sweet sauces, sweet chicken, pork and beef etc....even the most spicy dish restaurants have on their menu is sweet!!! However, eating at Yeung Shing I was completely aaawed by their food!! for the first time I was eating Chinese food which was not sweeet!! Their fried rice is to die for!! I think they cook the rice in chicken stock which makes it even more flavourfull!! I am a big fan of their Fish dishes in black bean, hunan, kun pao and chilli sauce!! You must tell them to add extra garlic to any of their fish chicken or beef dishes !! it would accentuate its taste atleast 4 times!! Their service is very very nice ! Food was mediocre. Uncomfortable chairs. As you take a seat, the chair cushion immediately sinks in the middle, kind of like a balloon deflating; feels like sitting on a toilet, no center support. Service was okay.
