We came on a Saturday night and the restaurant had a perfect flow of customers. We didnt have to wait to get seated at 6:30.Ordered a starter of roti and calamari followed by green curry with beef, house noodles with beef and yellow curry with chicken finished off with mango sticky rice.The roti was delicious but extremely rich. Tasted like and felt like a quarter stick of butter in those 4 halves. The roti came with two sides of sauce, a fish sauce with onions and chili and a thicker peanut sauce. The calamari has a light batter which I prefer. It came with a sweet and sour sour of sauce on the side.I enjoyed my green curry. I wasnt asked for spice level but mine came out relatively mild.I asked for less sweet on Thai iced tea and it came out just the way I wanted.Park on street. Weekends after 6pm are free at the meters up front. Otherwise youll have to pay.

Ordered the steak plate. I asked that they not over cook it because I have trouble swallowing. I was told that's not possible because it's cooked in the morning and kept in a steam tray. I asked what time it was cooked and was told 11:00. I ordered at noon. I was assured that it would not me dry. Not true. The meat was so over cooked and dry. Almost like beef jerky. The “salad” was just a little cut up old yellow lettuce that must have been cut at least 3-4 days prior. The Diet Pepsi was out and I had to ask that it be refilled. I had to ask to have a table wiped off.The employees were polite but that didn't overcompensate for the food. Very disappointed. I won't return to this Wabi grill. Other locations are considerably better.

My friend and i were just walking by this place, and decided to give it a try since it looked really nice. we've had a dish called manty, and it was amazing! I liked themso much that I came back after few days and get some for my family so they could try. highly recommend this place and look forward to try other meals they have. Also the people working there were super nice!

I placed an online order 15 mins befor my lunch i still had to drive 8 mins find parking and my 1 bowl wasn't ready I waited another 15 mins inside the restaurant and i herd the guy that was working ask the chef what she was waiting for to were she says there's no veggies so he proceeds to start making them since i didn't want to wait any longer (I only had 9 mins to clock back in ) i told him i didn't want veggies so then she starts making the chicken (which is litterly just pouring sauce on it )and it took her another 5 mins for that the place littlerly have 2 ppl inside and the lady was working soo slow there was a guy that was waiting 30 mins in there and stayed waiting after i left while the cheif was busy singing and danceing

Thai Victory used to be the best in the valley when it was ran by the older Thai couple. Now the Thai dishes are average and I feel like I’m at an Asian fusion restaurant and not a Thai restaurant. Really bums me out because I’ve been coming here for years and now I feel like there’s better options.

So far we are off to a great start. Small Vegan Asian Fusion restaurant. Its clearly a good choice that we picked this because almost every table was full even the outside tables.We ordered a few different dishes & are sitting back waiting there arrival. Chicken Wings, Panang Curry, & Basil Noodles. Yummmmm.So food arrived & since has been devoured. And DELISH!!!! The best Panang Curry I have ever had & its full on Vegan. The shrimp we added was incredible. More incredible that it isnt really shrimp but the root of a plant that gives it the flavor. I cant begin to describe how outstanding this place is. I cant wait to revisit. The Basil Noodle dish was also phenomenal. Light, warm & spicy & perfect amount of flavor. Not too much sauce & not too little. & the chicken wings, were dusted with angelic flavor.Tristene, our server was fantastic! She was knowledgeable & recommended spectacular dishes to try. Thanks for the added bonus of your smile. It shows how much you care.

The UC Bahn Mi chicken sandwich & adult grilled cheese 10/10.Both were extremely excellent. Unique in flavor/quality, perfect meal size portioning and competitively priced. 10 out of 10 points for both sandwiches.Urbane Cafe has a excellent variety of healthy food options for all dietary restrictions.This location also had, excellent customer service, a clean/new establishment environment and a polished feel.The sandwiches were still warm 15 minutes later when we got home and the smell of the sandwiches in the car while driving home really stood out to both of us.First I will speak of their new UC Bahn Mi sandwich which I ordered for myself. It is extremely unique in its flavor profile. The portioning was perfect, the amount of sauce on the sandwich was perfect, the sandwich was filling yet felt like a healthy light option.Tastewise, my tongue felt this sandwich was an artful expression of local and exotic world flavors combined perfectly at once.Hands down, I would recommend getting this sandwich over all others if this is your first time coming.Also, all sandwiches come with a quality side salad of spring mix, a couple Mandarin orange pieces, feta cheese sprinkle and balsamic oil and vinaigrette mixed dressing on the side.Its my first time coming here and the food is extremely fresh and the flavor combinations in their sandwiches are spot on. During our visit we purchased two sandwiches so I cannot speak of anything other than that. However, if the food that we got is a good representation of the unique flavor profiles of the rest of their food then I would rate their menu an A+. I give top scores for presentation, flavor profile, unique combinations, freshness, menu options, and customer service. Also, apparently you can get extra sandwich sauce on the side which comes in a pretty large portion cup.We placed a to-go order at the register around 2:30p they are fairly busy & it took about 12 minutes for our food. They bake their sandwich bread inside what looks like a large brick type open oven as a pizza place would do. When you order a sandwich, your bread is pretty much baked to order as you watch. Theyre able to do this as the sandwiches use a flat bread style.You place your order at the register they give you a number and you can wait anywhere in the cafe where they will bring you your food regardless if it is for here to go.It appeared as though it was the manager who was filling the roll of expediter, inspecting, packing & running completed orders to guests.I have to hand it to the person that was handling this at 2:27pm 3/8/24. This gentleman was extremely friendly, gracious, professional, warm, welcoming & part of why I would come back sooner.Please, pass on to him how noticeable good he is at the things that he does.I left feeling like I had made a good decision to go there and I would like to come back. The guests in this location appeared well put together with a mix of middle and lower classes.My final comment is not one directed to this establishment itself. My only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the general cost of eating out. The final bill with two sandwiches, each coming with a small side salad automatically was a competitive $24 which is a tidbit too high for me. The cash register uses a system to ring you where you are automatically asked to accept or deny leaving a tip to which paying customers likely never appreciate.The location seemed steadily busy at 1:30 in the afternoon on a weekday but not so busy where it was uncomfortable or a noticeable wait for food. There is plenty of seating inside and out with umbrellas outside and a fenced-in patio which is across the street from a park. Its very nice location where Inside the establishment I saw a nurse on her computer on her lunch break, families, professionals on lunch breaks and just local people or couples out getting lunch here.The seating arrangement inside is extremely variable from cushioned bench, booth, chair and high barstool style of seating options. The patio is very large as well.

One of our FAVORITE local restaurants....not your typical Thai or Asian restaurant in LA...the menu is truly unique, and there have so many YUMMY options. I think it’s probably majority Thai food, but seems to have a California fusion feel to it.One of favorites are the Tofu Fries to start (I’ve never been anywhere wheee tofu is prepared so crispy...I don’t know how they do it). By themselves, they’re kind of bland, but when dipped is sweet chili sauce (with peanuts and cilantro), the Tofu Fries are DELECTABLE!Other excellent menu items include: Ribeye with String Beans (small pieces stir fried...YUM!); Garlic Chicken Noodles; Thailand Yellow Curry; Pad See Ew (so?). They also have tons of delicious seafood options, but our family isn’t big on fish very often, but or friends say the love it all.We eat here about every 2 weeks, and we bring friends and visitors all the time. The service is truly EXCELLENT! (Very friendly staff who know us by sight...all so nice). It’s casual enough to wear shorts and a nice T-shirt or polo shirt in the summer, and most people don’t dress like slobs, but it’s definitely not too fancy.Overall. If you’re looking for a nice local restaurant to add to your places to try, Summer Canteen is great choice. It’s a great place to bring people visiting from out of town, as they probably have never had food like this before.
