Fusion Corner
11382 Beach Blvd A, Stanton, CA 90680, United States
Parking: Parking is free. It is fairly easy to find. I visited on a Sunday, and they had a consistent flow of customers.Environment/Ambiance: Fusion Corner is literally located in the corner of this small plaza. They have a large menu filled with Vietnamese-Thai foods and drinks. As you walk in, youll be greeted, asked how many is in your party, then youll either wait for a table or be seated immediately if theres an open table. Its very spacious inside with a warm, welcoming, and modern ambiance.Service: Servers are very friendly. They constantly check on you to ensure you are enjoying your food. Kitchen staff is also quick and efficient. We waited under 20 minutes for our food and drinks.Food & Drinks:1) Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings - I usually dont go for lemon pepper, but I heard it was one of their popular appetizers so of course I had to try it. I actually really enjoyed it. They were seasoned very well, wasnt too salty, and super crunchy. Make sure to dip them in the ranch for more flavor! 10/102) Spicy Wontons - These were my absolute favorite appetizers! If you like spicy foods, this is the perfect way to start off. Dont forget the extra sauce at the bottom. 1000/103) Beef Bulgogi Fries - I also tried one of their popular main dishes. Its a combination of both sweet and savory flavors. Its similar to a Lomo Saltado dish but with beef bulgogi of course. This was my second favorite dish. 9/104) Pho Tai Bo Vien (rare steak, beef balls) - Every time I go to a restaurant that serves Viet food, I must try their pho. Their broth is simmered for 12 hours. Youre able to choose your choice of noodles. Add ons are extra. They only have one size, and I would consider it a large. Theyre very generous with the meats, and the broth is delicious. 8/105) Signature Milk Tea - If youre a milk tea person like me, try their signature milk tea. They serve basic milk teas. Not sure if they offer boba. Their signature is regular milk tea topped off sea salt foam. 9/106) Lychee Rose Tea - If you need a refresher, try this fruit tea! Not too sweet. You can definitely taste the lychee; not much of a rose taste. But its topped with dried rose petals. 9/10Pricing: Since they serve modern Vietnamese-Thai dishes, prices are $$$ than average. But lets be honest, what hasnt gone up in this economy? Id say the prices are worth it for the amount that you get. Their dishes can be shared between 2 people.
WaBa Grill
7048 Katella Ave, Stanton, CA 90680, United States
Ive been to several Waba grills in the past however Ive always gotten inferior service from those stores. The reason I go a little bit further to come to this location is as Im always greeted with a smile and Im always treated with the utmost respect. The portion sizes are excellent. And the food at least to me is top-notch. For a fast-food food restaurant you cannot surpass the service and deliver food that this Waba Grill offers. The person at the counter has always been very friendly and she always ask if I require anything else including the drink or any sauces. It has been a couple times where Ive gone to other Waba grills 15 to 20 minutes sometimes even 30 minutes prior to the establishment closing and they told me that the place was closed. Almost all of those times if I really wanted Waba Grill I would leave that location and head directly to this location. The store would still be open and they still be willing to serve me food even five minutes till the end of closing. Customer service is a dying art but Im glad to find an establishment that still believes that the customer is King and I stopped going to the other two Waba grills that are actually closer to my home. In my opinion if a place closes at 10 then they should be serving customers until 10 not closing 20 to 30 minutes early. If you were to go to a bank, the DMV or even a supermarket and arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the place closes they would not tell you Im sorry were closed. Why do we put up with it at restaurants that basically do the same. So I commend the people at this Waba Grill excellent customer service, Friendly Smiles and great attitudes. Thank you for always being polite and servicing my needs
Oi Asian Fusion
12885 Beach Blvd STE 10, Stanton, CA 90680, United States
There is no better meal for an Asian than a bowl of hearty rice with protein. It's the epitome of “homey” for us. Now that we're in this day and age with plenty of influences from different cultures and flavors, where else can we bring our comfort foods to make it just as comforting but fun? Oi Asian Fusion basically sums up their purpose in their name.Looking at their menu I'm going to go out on a limb and say that theyre primarily focused on Filipino flavors. The most recommended bowl for me was the Adobo bowl.Adobo Bowl - ($10.59) - The bowl came out fresh and ready, the wait time was maybe 10 minute max. The most alluring aspect to this bowl for me was the perfectly soft boiled egg. This got me excited. Next to it was a thinly sliced piece of pork belly with a generous helping of adobo sauce smothered over the protein and rice. The pork was not as tender as I would have preferred, especially with the slices being so thin. The adobo sauce was amazing, and it was even better with a bit of egg yolk with a spoonful of rice. BOMB. Now, I dont recommend getting this and taking leftovers home or even takeout if you're not planning on eating it right away. As soon as we got home and reheated it the adobo sauce got super vinegary and the smell was less enticing. (as nice as I can put it)Overall, the experience was okay. The bowl was pretty good, the price point was decent and service was quick. I think if Im in Rodeo again I'd be down to try something else on the menu!
Buenos Migos
12885 Beach Blvd #5, Stanton, CA 90680, United States
I dont know how long this place has been here at the Rodeo since it wasnt originally here when the place first opened. Their spot was originally Shootzs, which has since moved in the corner next to Banh Xeo Boys, but I was excited for a new place to try.I absolutely love Mexican food so a modern Mexican food stand was totally up my alley (and fits the vibe of the Rodeo). The staff here, like with many other stands, have incredibly amazing and stellar staff. Though the music they blast is way too loud. The food though is absolutely incredible and anything you try is bound to be great. From tacos, to quesadilla, you wont find anything bad here. For drinks, I absolutely highly recommend the ube horchata, which is absolutely delicious.

The goodness begins with the name Sweet Mango and the lovely people working to meet your every need. This is a new Burmese restaurant serving fusion style Asian delights. Bob and I had fish soup, a meat and vegetable dish accompanied with Burmese rice. The food was above average; but, it is the service that stands out and makes it a pleasure to eat here for lunch.
Rodeo 39 Public Market

This place is amazing! All the different Asian fusion restaurants inside have great variety and ALL of them serve amazing food! Absolutely the best Asian fusion Ive ever eaten has come from all the restaurants located inside.I cant forget the atmosphere of this place. I love the industrial theme with the Asian/Western fusion Art on all the walls.
Shootz
12885 Beach Blvd #11, Stanton, CA 90680, United States
I ordered the hot kimchi butter katsu chicken sandwich and omg it was the tastiest thing I've had in a while. It's hands-down a favorite now. The chicken was delicious, the mac salad was perfect, and the bun tied it all together perfectly. For $6.99 too?! I was satisfied with one, but I can definitely eat 2 if I'm really hungry (don't judge me.) I will definitely be back to try everything else on their menu. Their prices are really good and they also have family-sized meals. The staff was suuuper sweet and friendly! (The employees helping me kept complimenting my outfit ?? so sweet) I seriously can't wait to be back. I took my food to enjoy at the beach, and it was still delicious, but I'm sure the food is even better when eaten there, which is what I will do next time. They were one of the busier spots in there (and I now know why) but they were quick to help their customers. I also appreciated the fact that I could order ahead online!
THE SPOON
11382 Beach Blvd #4, Stanton, CA 90680, United States
DESSERT DONE RIGHT!!This new establishment recently had a soft opening and being that it is in my neighborhood and we love to support new businesses in Stanton, we just had to stop by. I am sooooo glad we did! (Im not sure it is truly Open yet as the owner told us February 22, however, I saw the open sign up today so stopped by for the second time to get more of their addicting delectables! If you like the unnecessarily oversized American desserts, this is not that. They call it their desserts Contemporary, which is hard to define, but I relate them to the desserts you find in France, Japan, etc. They are well portioned (small, how desserts should be), artistically-beautifully designed and taste absolutely divine!!! I have been telling all of my neighbors, friends and family to check it out. You can eat in or take it to go - and if you take it to go, youll notice the to-go boxes arent just simple, boring boxes but they also have a fancy yet practical design whether you get 1 small item, many small items or a larger cake/dessert (for more than 1). I hope this small business flourishes. Highly recommend. So far we have tried 4 different types of desserts (see my photos) and my favorite is the Raspberry Chocolate Mousse followed by the perfect valentines day dessert heart shaped Dulce De Leche Choco Mousse. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I cant wait to see how well they do. Highly Highly Recommend. The desserts pack the perfect amount of flavor that isnt too overbearing but also allows you to take a small bite at a time and take in all of the flavors without being a glutton!
