Lemongrass Asian Cuisine
3376 Wentworth Dr, Hemet, CA 92545, United States
This Asian restaurant was busy during lunchtime. The menu was good. There were several choices in the appetizer section, spring, grilled pork, egg, and vegetable egg rolls. They also offered grilled chicken satay, shrimp, fried tofu, grilled calamari, pablo breaded chicken, prawns, and a seafood platter. Their specialty is Pho, which are rice noodles served in flavorful beef broth, with scallions, basil, bean sprouts, cilantro, onions, jalapenos, and limes. They offer talapia prepared two ways. Also they have salads, one called yum woon Sen, that has glass noodles, chicken, shrimp, squid, lettuce, tomatoes, sweet onions carrots and fresh cilantro served with a juicy lime dressing. Curry is also available to satiate your palate, with four types to choose from, all served with jasmine rice. If you prefer stir fried wok style, that is there as well, with 16 choices. After a sumptuous meal, they also have desserts if you have room, or you can take with for later. Eight desserts includes yummy chocolate cake! I enjoyed their delicious ginger beef stir fry! I definitely understand why Lemo grass Asian Cuisine stays crowded and is a favorite!
Osaka House Ramen & Sushi
3353 W Florida Ave, Hemet, CA 92545, United States
Updated from going there more! Because theyre good!Again, a foreword to Hemet residents, sushi takes time. Unless youre at the bar expect to wait a bit. That sushi. If you are at a table and throw a fit because you havent gotten your food within 20 minutes and they are busy, you are a baby and everyone will know it.Anyhow, Ive tried about 7 of the rolls now and theyve all been beautifully constructed! The double pleasure roll had a bit much for veggies for me but I know many would love it, the dragon roll with its eel tastes delicious, the sauce is just sweet enough, and it goes down smooth. On busy nights (remarkably theyre even busy on Mondays, when I first went) it can get a little hectic but as taxed as the waitresses might be they never show it and have shown a great deal of patience with myself as well as others. Overall, I think theyre great and a wonderful addition to the city, theyre growing nicely and the owner/manager dialogues openly with you if you have any concerns. I appreciate that. Website could use a little work but I mean I go here for sushi not for web browsing. That said they have a nice gallery on the site if one is curious. Thats cool.An aside, This place both makes me happy for hemets future and simultaneously makes me disappointed in the residents of hemet. The atmosphere is great but some of the older customers the first time I went were insanely demanding of attention and slowed down the whole process for everyone. 3 older ladies basically taking up the attention of one of the chefs the entire time they were there with their demands. That said the staff there handle it all in stride and you get your delicious sushi. Good stuff.
Pho Fresh & Yummy
3112 W Florida Ave, Hemet, CA 92545, United States
It was a enjoyable meal. It was a Asian fusion more than an Vietnamese restaurant due to the fact that they had certain things that were usually with a Korean or Japanese restaurant. But I did like the food. The young Lady running the front of the house was great she was very understanding and patient. Due to the misunderstanding of having an important phone call come in while we were trying to order a meal.

I got a Togo order at 8:35 pm on 9/18 but this isn't about that. It is what I witness and how I was treated that night inside the restaurant while waiting for my food. Since they close at 9, the staff was cleaning the lobby & the cook was cleaning the kitchen. Here's why I am writing this horrible review…. The cook was spraying chemicals onto the wall, directly over the food being prepared in the fryer. Being 7 years in the restaurant industry myself, it stuck out to me. As I stood there and watched it happen multiple times, also watching the particles in the air move down towards the fryer, I brought it to the attention of a staff member “Amanda”. She notified the cook “a customer brought this to my attention” and the cook immediately started talking back. He started arguing and talking loud enough to where I could hear him stating he's not doing anything wrong. He said “it's a closed floor so there's nothing wrong with it” & I said “you're spraying chemicals directly over food you're preparing”. At this point he stayed quiet (until I left) and I stated “I work in a restaurant, I took the test. That's a hazard.” At which point I grabbed my food and left, thankful it wasn't my food being prepared, yet nervous to eat my order. I am not only furious of the blatant disregard this cook had for food safety, but the fact he felt the need to argue back when a paying customer pointed out he is commuting a hazard that could get a lot of people sick. Never going here again and I genuinely hope he gets reprimanded & has to take the test again.

The cashier gave an unpleasant welcome. she made me feel very unworthy. i give EXCELLENT reviews for this site, and she just gave me a very unpleasant experience. i paid over 60 dollars for 5 bowls and drove 24 minutes one way. I LOVED this location. i visit last week, and for the first time i heard a customer ask for sides of garlic serrano sauce (and she was given multiple). I never knew they even had that (as much as i go, go figure). So this visit, I ask the young lady may I have 2 sides of garlic serrano sauce and she told me, while giving a sour look, Well normally i would have to charge you for these. That just made me feel so bad, because not only did i just spend 60 for 5 bowls, they hardly had sauce which is the only reason I ask for 2! Also, I dont ask for ANYTHING to be given to me. i work hard for my money and pay for everything. so dont THINK you are doing me ANY FAVOR by saying what you NORMALLY do. if thats the case, YOU NEED TO BE CONSISTENT WITH ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS, RED, YELLOW, BLACK AND WHITE! Because im not asking for ANYTHING TO BE HANDED TO ME! Because of her, will NEVER give them my little service anymore
GOLDEN HIBACHI BUFFET
1778-1986 W Florida Ave, Hemet, CA 92545, United States
Have been looking forward to the buffet opening again. I asked the front staff is this was the same owners and told no. My wife and I went today to celebrate my upcoming birthday and left disappointed. As others had said the buffet has a taste issue. Many items such as the white fish were pretty tasteless. The chicken dishes such as sweet and sour and orange chicken had a great flavor but were overly tough, and if you pulled the breading off the chicken pieces, the actual chicken looked like it was poor quality and couldnt be cut with a fork. French fries were the best item in the buffet. The fired rice was good as well as the broccoli. The spring rolls were really good, but they exhibited the same characteristic as most of the dishes. when you bite thru the crispy crust there was almost nothing inside. I opened one and it had a filling that was about the same thickness as peanut butter on a sandwich. Not what Im used to. The desert section had some of the worst deserts I have ever tasted. The cheesecake was a poor imposter, the chocolate cake was a poor tasting flan, and the banana pudding was the only thing that slightly tasted as one would expect. The remaining desert whatever it was supposed to be - Wasnt. Our friends ate there a couple of weeks ago and voiced a similar opinion, but we wanted to see for ourselves as we missed the old pre covid place. But quoting the old saying, to each their own, some folks will probably like it.
Hemet Asian Market

I love this place! Its not the most extensive shop, it does have exactly what I was looking for. I lived in Guam and would drink this canned tea, Assam black tea. Outside of Guam I have not been able to find it anywhere in the U.S. until today!! They also have these Adobo cracker covered peanuts. I havent had these nor been able to find these in the U.s. either. They even had taro leaves so now I can make one of my favorite Hawaiian meals, Lau Lau. The employees were so sweet! Im definitely going to be a frequent shopper! They also have a small restaurant inside which I meant to check out but was in a little hurry and it slipped my mind. Ill be going back and will definitely try out the restaurant.
O Yish Ramen & Grill
1121 S Sanderson Ave, Hemet, CA 92545, United States
Ordered miso and black garlic ramen. Too sweet! Flavorful, but over sweet on miso. Black garlic wasnt as sweet but still had an overpowering sweet aftertaste.Tried to doctor it with chili at table, barely hit and added more sweet( I think it was cut with sweet chili) Staff didnt really smile or seem happy. Chop stix are just piled in box on table( I dont trust people not playing with them and putting them back). Considering we were the only ones in the restaurant, no one was cleaning and we were fighting flies at the table. Hot environment with AC either struggling or not on. Kids had grilled chicken and beef with rice. Good flavor! More meat then rice was served. Overall, we would not go back.

I came here for lunch on my birthday a month ago and had a fantastic experience. The food was really good and so was the Mango passion fruit tea. I've came back a few times and gotten a Togo orders. Honestly the food is always fresh to order and the ingredients are good. I recommend this place to everyone. Not only if their food and customer service amazing but they're also really nice. Yesterday father' day Sunday we were a few doors down buying ice cream. The ladies at the ice cream shop delicias michoacanas denied my 4 yr old niece to used their bathroom. Not only were they rude about it even though we were buying a lot of things from them. We ended up walking out and going down the street. My sister in law brought my niece here and was able to use the restroom without having purchasing anything. I'll continue coming here and supporting this business. thank you for being kind.
Luckys Donuts & Ice Cream
150 E Stetson Ave, Hemet, CA 92543, United States
WEIRDO STAFF! I'm sorry but the customer service is really off here. The staff are laughing at customers and are not the friendliest. I walked in past 9pm as I heard this is a 24/7 donut shop. Wow, was this visit a let down. The donut holes were too chewy and they weren't fluffy, they seemed smushed. The only high point of this visit was the sour cream donut, I recommend it. However, I probs won't be returning unless it's an emergency because customer service and feeling welcomed is a must for me and I don't get that vibe here. The shop had a good night time stock of donuts and they didn't look too bad, however the donut hole consistency and flavor was so disappointing it kind of scarred me now.
