Fusion Sushi Manhattan Beach

We had a date on Sunday evening. It was such a right choice for us to go to Manhattan beach & have dinner. We planned to go to Sugarfish but changed our mind in the last minute. The service & atmosphere is nice. Asian style, they take care abt their clients. The food is good & affordable. The seasoning is a lil bit plain. If you have tried Japanese food before, the flavor is Japanese. But if not, you should try. I love fresh sashimi but my bf, he liked fried chicken & others. So the bill is $73. I think it’s affordable in this nice restaurant & in Manhattan beach.

Best South-east Asian restaurant in the South Bay. Weve been coming here almost weekly for the last five years or so, and not once have we been disappointed. Great food, friendly service, our favorite restaurant, really. Hope theyll be around forever.
Panda Express
125 S Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, United States
We had just landed at LAX and we are from that area but we have not been there since 2018 and we wanted to eat and I saw there was only like a couple miles from LAX. It was 1045 in the morning we are so pleased with the food we dined, and it was fresh fried rice was wonderful. The chicken teriyaki breasts were unbelievable and the other things that we got, so I just wanted to tell you thank you we're here and we live here in Florida. We went to a panda express on US 27 and the food was terrible. We measure all panda express by your standards and it doesn't stand up thank you. I hope that we can come back and get the food will be just as good. Wonderful great place to be when we came in the morning. They were so many people coming in especially workers and the food you give a lot and that's awesome. Keep up the great work. Today 10/30/23 we came to a panda express in Winterhaven Florida, and have been to many other pandas express in Orlando in other areas. It does not compare to the panda express in Manhattan Beach. That's the standard and all these other ones are substandard chicken teriyaki they don't even give you the correct type of chicken it's supposed to be white chicken breast and they don't serve them so keep up the good work you guys are the best if and when we come back to California which could be any time we are coming to your panda express. We love Manhattan Beach. We love Hermosa Beach. We are from California and miss it a lot. Thank you

CASHIER MADE ME UNCOMFORTABLE.I love Trader Joes and am a regular at a different location. This past weekend I was in the area and decided to do my grocery shopping at this location for the first time. The flower/plant selection was amazing. However, i did not find some of the things I had on my list like sourdough bread (they only had sliced bread, not the specific one I was looking for). When it was time to pay, I realized I forgot to grab a can of beans and I asked my sister if she could please grab it for me. The cashier asked if I found everything I was looking for and I let him know my sister was grabbing one last thing and he joked that I needed to have her pay me back. Then he asked me what I was doing that day in which I replied that I had no plans. And he sounded like I offended him by saying I was doing nothing. Then he asked me what I was doing the next day and I better not say nothing. I should have lied but I just said I also didnt have plans for the next day, in which he responded You are going to turn into nothing like your mother. That statement is sooooo out of line and unprofessional. I told him my mom is more outgoing than I am and im sure she was going to enjoy her weekend more than i was. I do not need to be judged for not having plans. His tone and way of saying these things were not in a very joking manner and I was actually really uncomfortable. After his statement, I immediately noted his name: Ray J.He also almost charged me for onions instead of potatoes which were more expensive. I am so happy to have had been paying attention to his scanning amongst his weird comments. When my sister came back with the beans, he made a comment about i guess you can buy her beans. But again, it was the weird tone he said it in that made me think what the ---?Oh and the grapes I bought were also bad at the bottom. I have never had bad fruit from Trader Joes, so I didnt think to check the bottom of the box where it was gooey and brown. Immediately thrown to the trash. Never coming to this location again.
FanSea sushi

I dont know if it was getting a tax refund by a CPA across the street that put me in a great mood or if the fact that I walked away thinking, Go to this place for their amazing green beans! But, I felt this place delivered for the 5:00PM to 7:00PM happy hour!Sushi was fresh although I suspect the salmon was ocean trout (darker in color than farm raised Salmon) but the octopus was almost crisp - not at all chewy.Pro tip - make sure to check in! Get a hand roll free!Hand roll seaweed was fresh - crispy and not at all hard to bite through.Drink menu is basic (Asahi fans welcome, Sapporo fans stay at home) but they do have a better selection of wine and saki.Ok, so what really shined here was the details. The ambience makes you feel like youre in an effin Japanese fishing village, the sides got the salivatory glands pumping, and the Happy Hour specials are really worth traveling to one of the nicest places on Earth - just off the south end of El Porto.

PUBLIC BE AWARE - HEALTH HAZARD! I have never eaten here and now my curiousity is gone as well! I watched through Windows from outside handicap spot by99 cent store 2 police officers even went inside ordered food unsuspecting just now left. This may gross you out but from my parking spot I can see direct line of view to the restroom hallway. A male employee came out of restroom and across hall into food area. He was still sending his belt into the clasp. Idk about you but when I am done with THAT PARTICULAR business I do pants belt tick etc etc before I go to wash station. Who washed hands when pants are barely pulled up and buckled? Why they would fall down before you grab soap! Its clear what did not happen at this place but please be warned that food handlers are not watched enough to make sure that hand washing occurs and my stomach is turning as I just barely got over this stomach flu. (Spouse inside 99 getting crackers and ginger ale for unknown stomach upset!)
Manhattan Beach Post

Every Valentine’s Day, we try to experience a different restaurant in LA. Upon our daughter’s recommendation, we ended up at Manhattan Beach Post this year.It was a good recommendation. The food was good and the vibe of the restaurant was awesome. It was packed for the Valentine’s Day dinner. Each table probably turned at least three times. Good thing that we booked table months ahead. The Valentine’s Day dinner menu fixed, we didn’t have to spend anytime in figuring out what to order. It was a four course meal. By the time we got to desserts, we were stuffed. The service was fantastic. We were served by three people and our plates were cleared succinctly and the drinks were filled at all time. Our lovely waitress constantly checked on us to see if we need anything.Just as our daughter described it, the food was fabulous. Each dish was made meticulously well with love. The flavors were enticing and pleasing to our taste buds. I particularly liked the main course of the tiger prawns with Thai spices. By fusing Asian flavors and western cooking technique, the resulting dish was a gourmet main course meal that’s fit for a most discerned food connoisseur.Another great food to try is the cheddar cheese bacon biscuit. Even though it was not on the Valentine’s Day dinner menu, we ordered it and it was so good. This is what people come to this restaurant for.I would have given it a five stars, but the food was so slow in coming out that we were so hungry while waiting for our food. We’ll come back to try other dish on a regular day.
Big Wok Mongolian BBQ
926 N Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, United States
Chill restaurant? What hipster writes this stuff? The ambiance is not relaxed, but rather can feel a bit frenetic, as the wait staff tries to get people in and out as fast as possible. Thats not to say they rush you at all; theyre just very efficient and are used to people ordering as soon as they sit down. There arent a lot of options to ponder. You can choose the vegetarian option, which is slightly cheaper. Or you can add appetizers like soup or egg rolls, and they have a small but adequate selection of domestic and Asian beers and wine available for an extra cost. But this is a buffet, so most of your choices are made AFTER you order --- but before your food is cooked. So you can select nothing but very healthy vegetables, or pile on meat and spaghetti swimming in oil. You can avoid adding condiments if you like a bland meal, or you can add a pound of garlic and so much hot chili youll be gasping and crying with joy(?)Note that its all you can eat only at dinner. Lunch is quite a bit cheaper, because then youre allowed just one trip to the buffet bar. But that single trip can be plenty, with some planning, and the creative use of zucchini slices as flying buttresses. :-)The bottom line, is that I love this place and find myself craving it, if I dont go at least every few weeks. I can get a satisfying, delicious yet healthful meal I feel good about eating.
Nicks Manhattan Beach

Nicks Butter Cake is a part of my soul at this point. When anyone asks me anything about dessert, my mind immediately runs to Nicks Butter Cake. When you speak boxing, you speak Floyd Mayweather. When you speak dessert, you speak Nicks Butter Cake.Ill get back to the butter cake but let me back track. This review will be like the Ghandi movie.Came here with my parents and girlfriend, as it was our first sit down meal just the 4 of us. My parents were lowkey nervous because it was my first time bringing someone home in like 10 years (red flag ik) so they picked Nicks as it is the perfect spot to show you have great taste without doing too much. Honestly a great first date spot when I think about it. This was kind of a first date in a sense...We sat down and vibes were up off rip, the wifey and I ordered espresso martinis and Big Steve (dad) ordered a whiskey ginger ale because he is beast. Nanc got a glass of champagne cuz shes different. The vet move here is to start with the shrimp taquitos, as they are a dish unique to Nicks but delicious. Jumbo blackened shrimp wrapped in a fried tortilla with some avocado and a little chipotle. Cant miss. For mains, I got my usual, the blackened fish sandwich. Its just so perfect... I mean I get it without tartar sauce because its a little too much for my tummy, but you do you. Imma do me.I also love eating with my mom because she eats like a mouse and I get half of her kale and quinoa salad with salmon on top. The salad has grapes in it which is such an underrated touch, its one of my favorite salads on the planet tbh. Now, it was time for the main event. We had been hyping this Butter Cake up to wifey for the past 12 hours straight, but honestly I wasnt worried because its that good. Its essentially a warm butter cake with a crystallized firm outside that is almost like a cookie, and a warm doughy cake-like inside, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top that is slightly melted due to the warmness of the cake, and a raspberry compote to finish the job. Job finished. When it was approaching the table, I heard a church choir belting HES DONE MIRACLES ON ME.......One by one around the table you hear some form of MMMMMMMM or Oh my god matched with a furrowed brow and a big soft smile to signify pure joy. The warmness of the cake paired with the coldness of the ice cream, brought together by the raspberry compote is a trifecta that I cant help but compare to Jordan, Magic, and Bird running the floor for the 92 dream team. The wifey loved the parents, and the parents loved the wifey. One can't help but wonder if it was the shared love of Nick's Butter Cake……GOD DID!IG @jnov_Tiktok @jnov__
Top Tenders & Wings - Redondo Beach

Cant get enough some hot chicken! Ok Top Tenders been on the radar for some time, I went with a chicken sandwich consisted of (2) Tenders, Top Tenders Spread, served on a toasted buttery brioche bun with pickles, got the tenders Asian sweet chili flavor. sandwich was ok, tastes good because the Asian sweet chili flavor, chicken was in the dry side, no slaw on their sandwiches made it pretty plain... also got the chicken on fries, I dont see them on the menu for some reason, went with the original plain with top tender sauce and Buffalo sauce, chicken pieces were of good portions, pretty juicy, fries were regular. what I really liked was the drink variety, kool-aid, strawberry, peach, and mango lemonade along with sweet, and unsweetened tea. clean restaurant plenty of seating, staff was super nice, would want I try different levels of spice, with different sauces. its OK for now hopefully better next time...
