Ive got a buddy who recently opened up a nail salon out here in the city. Twin sisters spa, next to the 7-Eleven and the barbershop. Check it out when you get a chance. I was helping him renovate the space in preparation for their grand opening and the night ran late. Im leaving the city. I decided I needed some food before I hit the road and being a fan of Thai food, I decided to try this. For those of you who have read my other tie reviews, you will know that I chase this basil chicken dish that all Thai restaurants make, but theres a particular Thai restaurant that makes it the best for my palette that no longer is in business. The basil chicken at this Thai restaurant is almost identical to that experience so you can imagine that I was on cloud 9 with this dish. It was so good, that I came back to San Rafael and took my buddy here for dinner and all their other dishes were also fantastic. They were flavored just right with that classic Thai flavor where the concern at Thai restaurants typically is whether or not the dish is under flavored. He loved it, and have taken others here since. And I have also returned to take my family here as well and they enjoyed the experience also. I can say without a doubt that this is a great Thai food experience and the decor in their small restaurant seems very authentic Thailand as well. The restaurant is located in the downtown so I had a nice walk to and from the Spa. Every time I come into San Ramon or visit my friend at the nail salon, this is a must stop by for me. I also try and get him to bring me an order of basil chicken if hes coming back from there and passing by my home. Im so happy that I can get my fix even if it is not as accessible as it used to be. Knowing I now have the option again is enough for me.

Quite pricey and I hadnt even ordered non-gmo/organic. I ordered vegetable chow mein with rice noodles and literally found myself digging through the noodles to find the vegetables. Spinach/tofu soup was acceptable as was the vegetable fried rice. It was a late night and no other Asian restaurants open except Yet Wah. Thank you for being open late. I will try a different dish next time and not order the vegetable chow mein in the future.

So I came here because I been meaning to try when I door dash I find new places thanks to you all lol.Lunch special I asked what was the shrimp made out of ... the lady was cool with it. I was happy with her response. I got plate but I didnt like the presentation .I have seen other places where my plate looks very pretty and decorated I dont know but they look clean . This one was kinda sloppy. ?My plate was very well in temperature that is a big plus . I tried the rice . I loved the rice and the shrimp I think its the princess ones but they little spicy very good and a kick to them the broccoli ? was very delicious its 3 stars here in GOOgle but I give the food a 8 out of 10Plus I loved the soup I did.And the old skinny man he was just old skoo no harm but for real let them know they messed up if they did . But they are polite in their way. My bill was 11.95 I gave a whole 20.00 like I said its a old skool joint ehh.. u get what u get . Its just that simple. Because we grew with this place its a local.. sooo 8 out 10 .

I Ordered my food for delivery then was asked do i wish to tip the driver i was then told i could only tip 15% and or more i said no that is incorrect i said give him $5 she finally said ok and then i asked how long till my order would arrive i was told oh maybe 1 hour i said oh one hour that is a while she said yes but it wont be that long ok fine thank you so the hour passed and i called hello hi where is my order oh she says the driver has not returned its going to be another 30 minutes well this is going to be 1.5 hours now its a bit long and is my food just sitting waiting ???? NO No No Sir its just now finishing being cooked ???? so it takes that long to cook it huh ??? wow thats strange but ok so the 30 minutes is passed and i call hello where is my order ??? The driver this the driver that ! ! Oh ok please cancle my order and i would like a refund pleaseNO ! I wont refund the driver is now at your house i said i dont want cold old sitting food take it back she says no i wont refund haNG UP ON ME i call back finaly she says HAALF i Give you HAlf you money backi said no way wont do you give me all of my money back or this is Fraud so they hung up again so i called back she says ok we too busy to talk with you now call back OMG so i did she says LIZ says the manager has refunded my money in full i said sorry for the isssues but you have to understand an hour and a half to be fed cold food and sitting food is not ok yeah whatever no lets see if they really do refund me in full i says this place is not so nice to there customers and they are CHEAP RIP OFFSso there it is

Ha! What an enchanting place. We found this gem on our way to Muir woods. Let me give my breakdown.Parking: have about 8 to 10 car parking at rear. Decent size parking, enclosed and safe.Ambiance: Very tastefully decorated, they followed the lotus theme all around the restaurant from the windows to the ceiling. very impressed with the details.We were fortunate to be there early on that day., they just put the food out. We had a buffet style lunch. Here is by breakdown.For Appetizers there was Potato cutlet, Onion Bhujjia for vegetarians and tandoori chicken and Fish Pakoras for non-vegetarians.Cutlet: perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.Onion Bujjia: Usual fried Indian item, nice and crispy. You should try this with some lager beer. Yumm.Fried Fish: Similar batter but light and fluffy. nicely done.Tandoori chicken: Spiced perfectly. Not too spicy and not bland either., they mastered the balancing act.Three types or Rice (Basmati and brown rice) offered along with freshly made butter Naan.Main dishes were many.Chicken tikka Masala: Grilled chicken cooked in tomato based gravy was excellent. perfectly spiced.Goat Vindaloo: I expected this to be too spicy, but surprisingly it wasnt ., so you can actually enjoy the flavors of the Goat along with the spices.Dal Makhani: My favorite... nicely done., nice and creamy and well blended.Baingan Bhurta: Grilled eggplants in spice., loved the dish.Veg Sagoo: Spinach dish., nice, creamy, beautifully blended with spices.Navratan kuruma: Mixed veggies cooked perfectly.,They had different types of chutneys and pickles to top it off.for Desserts Gulab Jamun and Kheer was offered.In summary, this place was fabulous, decorations was great., food was phenomenal.Fast Service, Friendly faces, very clean. Restroom was one of the cleanliest among the places I visited.If you are around the area dont miss it. If you are not., make the trip., it is well worth it.

Mediocre food and I mean its nice...you get what u expect....tacky plastic lights,Asian decor n to be frank the place had no personality ....now a lot of cops go there n other people too who must like what they serve....I seen the back of the kitchen n the way they handle refuse n the fact they mostly all smoke like crazy....n these are the people preparing,handling food?? Im not goin there again...its my choice n my opinion that the kitchen is not the cleanest but again is my opinion by the way their refuse is handled n dirty on the side entrance....to me its a not very clean....most people would not see this side of business but check it out....n dont park too far from restaurant...that harbor is full of undesirables,drugs rampant n at night the homeless roam the place casing the joint as they say....that harbor needs to be shut down,sanitized n the sea water in it is so polluted u can walk in it...Im just not comfortable eating in a place 40 ft from this environmental nightmare....

I got the avocado green curry house special. Very good. More like a big bowl of soup. Lots of generous chunks of avocado in there along with pumpkin, peppers and other veggies. My only complaint is that I find they didnt really cook the veggies enough. Too hard and raw. The zucchini, cabbage and pumpkin too under cooked. I find that many Asian restaurants tend to do that. They ought to partially cook vegetables in the morning and then finish them off before giving to the customer. I think they tend to undercook vegetables in the interest of time but if they partially cook them in the morning that would save time later

Great sushi is hard to find around Marin,,, you would think this to be a great area for it but no not so much anymore and I have ate in the quote best of the sushi spots that Marin has to offer sad to say very disappointed,,,, But then I was walking down the street in San Rafael and here it is I was like I dont know,,, not ready to be disappointed again so soon after that very expensive mistake I made eating sushi in Sausalito Total burn,,, but I had hope and so we went into the place and WoW so happy i did this Sushi To Dai For is Just that so worth it just a wonderful place the waitress hostess is a beautiful light straight up the food is FRESH !!! No bait fish served up here and beyond this the prices are very reasonable I heard some one posted that there prices are high well if they really believe this they should maybe get there sushi at Safeway Sushi is in my opinion still Art and well Sushi to Dai for is my new place for Art Thank you Dai will see you soon

This place makes the BEST PHO I have EVER had in my life!! The broth is seasoned to perfection. The vegetables are always so crisp and fresh! The Daikon is my favorite! The service is absolutely amazing! Fast and efficient and they do not skimp on the bowls!! And all for an EXTREMELY affordable price!! Nothing like all these other overpriced, underseasoned places on Marin. The staff are all so professional, kind, and accomodating. The best part, besides the Pho, is the music and the atmosphere!! A little bit of everything for EVERYONE! Love this place!

This place has seen better days -- I was here with a friend once at lunch, and another time for dinner with a small group. At lunch it was near-deserted... at night, a bit more lively for sure, but still had that were going to seed, slowly feel to it.The food is ok; not terrible, and also not cheap, which is somewhat astonishing because the mall that it is in is somewhat low-end (except for the Trader Joes, everything else has that yuck factor associated with it).You can do better for sushi, easily, and the hot foods are only slightly better. Go elsewhere.
