Super frustrated! Went through the drive thru to get a broccoli beef bowl, a chicken teriyaki bowl with a side of potstickers, easy yeah? First, the lady taking our order kept talking to other people while on the headset and was rushing us like crazy!! I was the only person in line at the time and they acted like my 2 minutes was the biggest inconvenience of their life. Then my order, didnt include ANY teriyaki sauce (in or out of the teriyaki bowl), the broccoli beef was literally just broccoli with two baby pieces of beef?? To top it off I asked for some sweet and sour sauce and they ignored us and then finally opened the window and rolled their eyes when I asked for the sauce. If I even got fortune cookies Im sure theyd say dont eat here again lol
TAO
6421 Selma Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028, United States
Hey everyone! I just got back and wanted to share my recent dining experience with you all. I was craving Asian cuisine, so I decided to make reservations at Tao. I have to say, the receptionist was pleasant, the host was amazing, and the waitstaff looked like they belonged in a movie. The atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant were fantastic, and the food, drinks, and dessert were all wonderful. I cant say enough good things about this place. Its definitely one of my top 10 favorite restaurants in Los Angeles.

Good Pho. They use cilantro in place of the other veggies to flavor the soup. Today I had the chicken and shrimp. The size small is a perfect size for a lunch meal. Their broth has very good flavor, and I like how they cut their chicken on the bias. This seems to make it better when you add the sprouts, jalapenos, and the rice noodles. All in all a flavorful bowl of soup. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Rosas Pizza Selma
2833 Whitson St, Selma, CA 93662, United States
Stopped in here the other day to get some food to wait for the rains to let up. We had never been here before. We ordered the All Meat and a Veggie pizza. Both were very good pizzas. The amount of toppings is great and the crust really put it in the upper echelon of local pizza places, for me.When the veggie pizza came out, it was a little overdone and the employee recognized that. If it was for me, I would have gobbled it up because I like my pizza more of the done side. But it was ordered for my wife so she agreed that it was overdone and they made a fresh one. The crust of the pizza really shines. It was a little crispy on the outside but tender on the inside.Overall, the service was great. The food was great and my daughter enjoyed all the options for games & quarter vending machines. Allen and Victor did a great job of taking care of everyone that came through while we were here. If we pass through Selma again and want some killer pizza, were stopping in.
Chipotle Mexican Grill
3120 Floral Ave #108A, Selma, CA 93662, United States
Went into store to order lunch for my husband and I and walked out with only his food. After I was shouted at by a male employee because the rules state I have to finish with the first order before I start the second. That would have been fine if the employee who had started my order asked me about my second bowl. Before I can say anything the employee very rudely said “ITS THE RULES you have to complete one order first” I consider myself a rule follower and if there had been THE RULES posted I would have followed them. I was so embarrassed by the way this gentleman spoke to me I just said forget it. The other employee looked concerned but didn't offer me any recognition of some type of apology. There was a line building and all the employees looked stressed. You would think management would better prepare staff and store for the lunch rush. The manager was busy counting out receipts with 2 other employees. There was no steak, no chipotle vinaigrette, and the guacamole I paid top dollar was so sour and inedible. I am a Selma resident and I will not be returning. If your in the area The Habit is good and Deli Delicious is always fresh. Avoid this Chipotle.
China Garden Restaurant
2719 Whitson St, Selma, CA 93662, United States
Alright for what it is but the change to the menu was shocking. Everything about it is far from the China Garden weve known and loved for decades.Ordering was a nightmare over the phone. Had to literally ask if this was china garden. Gentleman couldnt understand a bit of english and sounded beyond confused with my simple order. When all that was sorted out he hung up without ever adding my name to my order and couldnt tell me what the total would be.When we opened the bag the food was not at all what we thought wed get. It was the new owners version of chow mein and spicy beef. Oh and the pan-fried noodles were so thin, chewy, hard (not crunchy), and pretty much see-through or saturated with oil? Very weird but not good at all. Color was far from white and the noodles are the orange style now.Very disappointed in the change to something that was great and the best for years. People came from other towns and cities to have it. Now Ill likely go to fowler or fresno for my fix of Chinese.Because Im paying china garden prices for something I can get across the street for much less.
New India Sweets & Spices
2711 Whitson St, Selma, CA 93662, United States
I've been going there about once in a month. They have different Asian spices, sweets and vegetables. Recently I bought some sweets, based on your experience if you had tasted at different places, you can judge their ratings. I had Jalebi and Samosa and they both had different or awful oil smell. Theses food can be better if properly cooked with better/ quality ghee and flour.
KATEEN
6516 Selma Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028, United States
My recent visit to KaTeen Hollywood for my bday celebration with my Girl Friends left me with mixed feelings, and I cant help but express my disappointment. We had made a reservation with a confirmation for outdoor dining, but upon arrival, we were seated inside near the kitchen area.Feeling like we were profiled is an understatement. As an Asian diner, I couldnt help but wonder if we were treated differently based on our ethnicity. This experience left a sour taste in our mouths from the very start. To make matters worse, the restaurant also implements wellness charges. While I understand that some establishments may choose to add such fees, it should be made transparent to customers before dining. This unexpected charge only added to our disappointment. On a more positive note, I must mention that the food itself was decent, and the service was adequate. However, the overall experience was marred by the seating discrepancy and the surprise charges.I sincerely hope that KaTeen Hollywood reevaluates its practices and ensures a fair and unbiased experience for all diners. Discrimination should have no place in the hospitality industry, and clear communication about additional charges is essential for building trust with customers.
