Classic Chinese Restaurant
23565 Moulton Pkwy # C, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, United States
The place is place terrible to eat.First - Cashier is very rude to the waiter and to its customer. During the time that im eating in their so called restaurant i saw a scene which is not every nice in my eyes, the waiter and cashier are yelling to each other in rude way. While the waiter is serving our food i asked one of the waiter if he likes working there and he frankly said NO! which is funny in my opinion. Lastly when we are ready to pay our bill the cashier is very rude and doesnt seems to be care to its costumer.Second - Food is oily and seems to be frozen. The vegetables that used seems to be fresh but the meat that they used is definitely frozen in my opinion. Duck too oily in my opinion, when i squish the duck the duck is overflowing with oil. Fried Rice too much oil, you dont need that much oil in a fried rice. The Soup is fine but they put too much vegetables on it that you cant even enjoy it. Sweet sour chicken seems to be frozen. The fish that they gave us is sooo thin that i can compare it to a papers and very dry that i suspected to be a frozen food. The vegetables also has so much oil on it.Lastly - The Place seems to be small. if you guys are going to eat with 4 people and the biggest seat is filled you guys better turn around and leave because the second biggest table is very small We order at least 5 dishes which is not that many in my opinion considering we have 4 people. The chair i have no problem but the table is sooo small. that we have no space. also i checked the tables and its full of gum. In positive note they changed the table clothes after someone is done which nice in my opinion. Lastly the dessert that they gave us is sooo cold that i have to put it back and leave it
Hai Master Kitchen
24401 Ridge Rte Dr # B102, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, United States
My granddaughter referred me to this restaurant. Amazingly authentic Chinese restaurant. The server is friendly and knowledgeable . I liked her recommendations, such as Juicy pork dumpling, wanton in spicy/ non spicy sauce, steamed sole, sauted chicken with vegetables, pork belly with vegetables ... Too many to list here. I have a class in Laguna Hills every Tuesday which ends at 4 pm. I go over to Hai Master Kitchen for dinner after. Usually not crowded at 4 pm.
Mas House
24291 Avenida De La Carlota, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, United States
School cafeterias provide better food and better service then this place. Sparse decor, sticky tables and menus, cold, unappetizing food and shady workers. We were a party of five, ordered chicken corn soup which arrived cold, bland and with absolutely no chicken or chicken flavor. We let the server know to at least give us hot soup. He looked at us and shrugged his shoulders....take it or leave it was my interpretation. This was a good precursor to how the rest of our order tasted. Cold, slapped on to the table and unappealing. Also do not use their condimemts. They are filthy and old. Halal food is why they get customers, they know it and they exploit it. When our check came, I gave it a cursory glance and was about to add a tip (I am a ridiculously generous tipper much to my familys chagrin. I get it, I waited tables in college) when I realized we were overcharged by about $20. I called the server ( btw good luck getting their attention) He said and I quote, I added tip because you didnt like the food. Im rarely left speechless. I said you cant do that, were not a party of 6. He said, 5 or 6 we add tip, our choice I looked at the bill again and he had literally made the check out as 6 guests up on top of the check, and suggested how much to tip on the total of bill plus his tip. I would have given way more anyhow. Look your bills over carefully. Halal food does not equate Halal practices.

Trader Joes
24231 Avenida De La Carlota Ste 100, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, United States
Ah, Trader Joes of Laguna Hills, where the parking is a high-stakes game of musical chairs (but somehow, its part of the charm). Stepping into this store is like entering a parallel universe where every item on your grocery list has a quirky, more adventurous cousin. The aisles are like the yellow brick road leading to the Emerald City of snacks, where Two Buck Chuck flows like water, and the freezer section is a wonderland that could rival Narnia. The staff? Imagine if your best friend decided to moonlight as a grocery clerk, armed with an encyclopedic knowledge of cheese and a knack for recommending the perfect seasoning for your avocados. Yes, thats them, sporting Hawaiian shirts like badges of honor, guiding lost souls through the sea of organic kale and artisanal bread with a smile. And lets talk about the selection. If youve ever dreamed of a place where pumpkin spice isnt just a season but a state of mind, welcome home. The variety is astounding; its like theyve scoured the globe for the kind of treats that make your taste buds do a happy dance. From snacks that tickle your fancy to the staples that hold your kitchen together, theyve got it all, often with a twist that makes you wonder, Who thought of this? The answer, of course, is Trader Joes.In the end, shopping at Trader Joes in Laguna Hills isnt just about filling your pantry; its an adventure. Its about discovering that yes, you do need a jar of cookie butter in your life. So heres to you, Trader Joes, for making grocery shopping an experience we never knew we needed but now cant live without.
Kings Fish House
24001 Avenida De La Carlota, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, United States
Food is mediocre. Definitely not a good value for the high price you pay for your entree there . I dont mind paying $25 for a piece of salmon but not when I get it and its dry and overcooked. Also no rice pilaf at this place. What you get when you order rice, which isnt even on the menu, is a scoop of plain white rice like at a Chinese restaurant. Fish and chips was also mediocre.... two small pieces not worth the price or the flavor. Mai Tai was made with crushed ice, served in a small glass and it wasnt very good . The glass of wine I ordered was not even a 6 oz pour . Not sure why this restaurant gets such high ratings.
Mint Restaurant
25381 Alicia Pkwy C, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, United States
I have been living around this area for 16 plus year, but I have never got the feeling that at restaurant waiter could bring me an unhygienic utensils as he argued with us as we appeared there to pick up our food 5 to 7 min before he told us over the phone. We decided to eat there but he refused very harshly stating we are an arrogant customer. There is was a huge gap of communication and understanding. He really gave us very bad look and gave me and my friend an empty box when we ask for paper plates so we can sit outside and eat. He gave us one disposable box and asked to tier apart and use it for both of us. I asked him to charge some money and give us another box so we can eat decently. He argued and went inside unhappy to grab the box, that's where I got the vibes that I never ever got in my whole life from any restaurant that he is going to give us unhygienic box or plates to use. We left the restraint with one box and me and me friend ended up eating in that one box by tearing it apart, which is not a bad thing for us. But having such disrespect and bad vibes from a person who you expect to prepare and give you food is not safe at all. I would never recommend to eat there, as safety and health is first while eating anywhere. Just to clear this is the guy who normally charges your credit card and he refused to share his name.ThanksUmer
Khao Hom Thai Bistro (Laguna Hills)
24881 Alicia Pkwy ste c, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, United States
Consistently well-prepared, authentic Thai food, with several dishes you won’t find at other Thai restaurants in the area. The Katiem Prik Thai with chicken (garlic chicken) is a standout if you’re a garlic fan. Their soups are also excellent; their Thai version of Won Ton Soup is better than what you’ll get at most Chinese restaurants. I’m partial to their Tom Yom Gai. Family-owned and run, and they’re really nice people.
Rodrigos Mexican Grill
23972 Avenida De La Carlota, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, United States
Nice restaurant and ambiance but its not Mexican food ? There is no nice way to put it but when youre a Mexican restaurant and you have no Mexican customers, something is wrong. If you want great Chinese food, go where the Chinese people go, get it.
