If I order shrimp fried rice, Id like a decent portion of shrimp in it. If I order beef chow mein, Id like a decent portion of beef in it. Each order item is EASILY $10 & up. $10+ FOR ONLY vegetables & rice/chow mein noodles; the CHEAPEST ingredients? If you place a PREMIUM meat/seafood ONLY order be prepared to pay the price. But again, the SIZE of meat/seafood does not justify the much higher price.Thats my point with this restaurant. The food is good. VEGANS must REALLY love this place!Please, put a DECENT amount of the main ingredients; beef, chicken, shrimp, pork into your orders & I will you give you 4 ⭐. Now, I must SIFT & SEARCH for pieces of meat/seafood. But dont increase your price! Its too high already for Chinese cuisine.Dragon Valley is fortunate (wise?) to be in Napa where there is NOT MUCH competition for Chinese restaurants. I doubt they would remain in business very long if they were located in SF. I grew up in SF. I am Asian/Pacific Islander. ALL Asian restaurants are in FIERCE COMPETITION in the City. Napa chinese restaurants only serve what Napa residents actually believe is Chinese food. It isnt. Regardless, WHERES THE MEAT?! ?

As a mobile technician I travel the whole Bay Area and I stop at little Chinese restaurants all the time. Today I stopped at Wah Sing and dang the lunch specials are under $10!!! I got the Broccoli chicken. And it was the most delicious Broccoli chicken I have had at any Chinese restaurant so far! They gave us a big meal, soup and tea! Bill was 10.50 before tip! U can’t beat that!! I will keep coming here when working in Napa! Totally worth it. Great taste and great prices!!

I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in Napa. Being from S.F I have had plenty to choose from. So far this is pretty close. I had dinner with my son last night and enjoyed it. Pot Stickers were cooked perfect. Chicken fried rice was ok. Orange chicken was great and so was the Mongolian beef. Give it a try. Still searching for the best low budget Chinese food in Napa. Someone come here and open one please.

I have always came here and ordered the family feast. Rarely have any issues but today I asked the lady if everything was in the bag she kept telling me yes trying to rush me to leave. I always check my bag before leaving since I live on the other side of town. Figure hey she packed it and assure me all was in the bag. I even paid the extra $ for the side of fried rice. I got home and of course my side of rice was missing. Now this really upseted me since I could have checked my bag but I know it was busy and she kept assuring me all was in. I called and Chris who answered the phone said all he could do was to make sure that on my NEXT purchase they will assure to have it placed in the bag?! Im sorry but how does that help me now? I paid for it, but did not receive it!? Honestly I will pay another $50 extra to go to the Chinese restaurant at the premium outlet in napa than going back here! Super disappointed! Will definitely never recommend anymore and will start taking my business elsewhere!

I was highly disappointed. I come here often with my family. Today i came in for dinner by myself and i ordered the same combo my daughter gets a $16 combo they added $2 to change the entree to orange chicken. I also, had ordered an egg flower soup togo that was amazing. But my plate was horrible. The chow mein was greasy and flavorless. The rice had literally 3 tiny pieces of bbq pork and barely any veggies. But the most disappointing was the orange chicken. Only 5 small pieces with almost no sauce. I was so sad i didnt want to eat. Like $18 for a plate of mostly chow mein that was the worst Ive ever had here. Service was Okay even though the guy has to be asked for ever single thing. But he was more friendly when i was leaving.

We go to Napa a few times a years, this time we tried the new Empress M and Single Thread, the last Michelin Star restaurant to try in Napa, plus our usual Buchon and Oxbow public market. To survive the foodies assault in Napa, and stand up against all the top restaurants in Napa is no easy task, and EM has undeniably staked her place as the upscale authentic Chinese restaurant in Napa and got us to return again before we left Napa. The food, whether dim sum, with lots of varieties, or banquet style abalone, by their Michelin Guide chef, is first class. The long and complete wine list includes even Screaming Eagle. The decors of E M are exquisite. The huge courtyard with an authentic gazebo reminds me of the traditional courtyards in China. It even has live performances on Fridays. Although the service side is still rough on the edges, return we shall.

Being single & a lazy cook, I rely much on reasonably priced, pre-made, takeout food. One of my weekly go-to takeout places is Hop Hings Kitchen for Chinese food. My normal order is teriyaki chicken (medium), chow mein (large), & plain white rice (medium). The total cost for my order is under $25 & is enough for 2-3 meals. HHK is not just for takeout. If you desire, there are tables/chairs available if you want to eat your food there. If I go to a typical Napa Chinese restaurant, a similar HHK type order would cost me approx $35+ (with tip), $10, or about 40% more. HHKs food can easily hold up to these FULL SERVICE, Chinese restaurants, despite its smaller size menu selection. HHK satisfies MY OWN personal needs. HHK is a place to consider if you want fast, cafeteria style, simple/limited menu Chinese food at a reasonable price.

The quality and the taste of the food was outstanding! I had a craving for Chinese food and ordered Panda Express yesterday because this restaurant was closed and ended up giving it away. So I ordered from Hunan Chinese Express through doordash today and my boxes were filled To the top with food Also they bagged each box and then through those in another Bag so my food arrived steaming hot. The food was delicious and my craving was satisfied.

I have been coming to Amy's for many years, the food had been good despite there being rumors of questionable quality of the food and this Wednesday I can confirm the food is not okay. After eating half of a medium sized box of sweet and sour chicken I discovered fly eggs inside of the chicken and peaking out of it. I threw up and have had bad stomach pains. I'm terrified to just think about how much of this disgusting food I've eaten. I went back to Amy's to tell them and they themselves said they didn't know what it was but they would give me my money back, a new order, or free food but I refused it all. The cook tried to persuade me it was normal and possible flour eggs or corn starch that wasn't mixed well but we all know it isn't, they opened up a few piece of the chicken to show me it was the same but clearly it wasn't. I remained calm and friendly through out the whole ordeal which is recorded, uneasy about the situation I looked up fly eggs at home and YES! Amy's Peaking Palace served chicken and maybe more food infested with fly eggs. Definitely will never go again especially after how untrue their statement of explanation was.
