I try not to blast businesses but I cant sit quite.Tonight, I had dinner with a friend at this restaurant. We witnessed the restaraunt manager, Ken have a verbal altercation with an employee. The employee proceeded to walk off the job. Ken followed her, placed his hands on her, and locked her into the womens restroom. A customer questioned Ken regarding the manner, Ken replied, shut up, this is my restraunt I speak to my employees how I want. Several of the patrons spoke with the employee and are willing to help her get legal help. Employees tried to protect her and a few were also witnessed crying out of fear for her. After speaking to many employees this evening I have discovered they violate many labor laws. They do not receive required breaks or their lunch no matter how long they have worked. They do not receive overtime and are often denied time off even if sick. Minors are serving alcohol and some even consuming it while on the clock. They also do not follow work permit guidelines for Minors provided by schools. The employees I spoke with said they are afraid to speak out because they need the job. EXTREMELY ANNOYED by all of this. The food is good but this is the last time I will leave my money here and Im not staying quiet ?.

Ha-La Sushi
115 Alamo Plaza C, Alamo, CA 94507, United States
The atmosphere was nice, but thats all i have thats nice to say about Ha-La.(Used to be called Ha-Ru (which was a real Japanese word) Ha-La is not.) My girlfriend and I ordered, but our food came out at different times.(We pretty much ate separately.) My dinner was delivered first (cold) and had way too much Teriyaki sauce. Our second order was also cold and covered in way too much sauce. Once we were done eating we were stuck waiting for the check and had to call for the server out loud disrupting the other guests. Shortly thereafter both of us had terrible intestinal distress. Ha-La ? more like HA-HA...what a joke.

Haruki Sushi House

Great spot to get sushi and Japanese in Vacaville! The chicken curry and chicken karaage were excellent and steaming hot!Friendly staff and a cute small restaurant. Not many seats, but there is bar seating available. Service is quick and food is served fast and hot!Unfortunately ramen was not on the menu when I visited, though it was listed online.

Victorian Mansion Bed & Breakfast
326 Bell St, Los Alamos, CA 93440, United States
I want to preface this review by saying that although our stay was marred by some major problems, I still want to go back. The Good:We stayed in the Egypt Room and it was enchanting. I was worried it would be too hot but there was excellent temperature controls in the room. The theming was fantastic. The bath was enormous and luxurious. The shower was a standing shower that doesnt feel cramped, and a showerhead thats both high enough to stand over and adjustable as needed. The street sounds never permeated the bedroom, and though I did hear people on the stairs it was infrequent. As some reviewers mentioned, the TV placement is a skoosh awkwardly. You can see it from one side of the bed and the chaise lounge. That said, we really liked the CD and kept it on as white noise. (Additional thematic cds would be great!)I will also say that the food was delicious, and I loved how food etc was brought. Every meal is room service at no extra cost, and it really adds to the feeling of luxury. (And is great for an introvert!)The Bad:We brought up avoiding carbs when we booked our stay, and was told that while there would be some, there would be quiches and wed be able to eat the egg and leave the shells if we wished. This sounded fine. At arrival, this was true for the first day, but the second day breakfast was nothing but carbs. (Strudels and croissants) No mentions of our earlier request or agreement, no quiches second day. I didnt bring it up at the time because I really dont like to complain (as youll see later) But I would be wary of staying here if you have dietary restrictions, especially related to blood-sugar levels. (My need was based on a keto diet for that reason, but Id already decided to not worry about it for the vacation itself.)The much bigger issue:We had major plumbing issues. The hot water in the shower kept cutting out, turning icy and causing pressure to dip.My husband called the number wed been given, and the manager on duty said theyd contact the owner and get back to us. I finished my shower in freezing water.Later my husband noticed the toilet was running a lot, a sound I had noticed too but assumed old building, old pipes. He decided to check the well, and discovered a problem with the chain causing it to flush constantly. He was able to reach in and temporarily fix it, and we agreed to just let it go for now, and talk to the manager about it when they got back to us.The manager never got back to us, so we called ourselves the next day after breakfast, brought up the discovery with the toilet. Their reaction was something like oh, you fixed it? to which I very emphatically emphasized it was absolutely not fixed, it was a bandaid. They said theyd fix it for the guests after us, which I was not thrilled about, but agreed to because Im conflict-adverse.This problem would continue to deteriorate throughout our stay until, by the end of our second (and final) night and for the rest of the stay, the toilet was completely unusable. We had to flush by dumping huge amounts of water into the well. It was horrific and utterly ruined the final night (of two) and morning. We mentioned this at check out, and the manager said well you mentioned you werent planning to leave your room being utterly dismissive that THERE WAS NOBASIC PLUMBING DURING OUR STAY IN THIS LUXURY HOTEL and acted like we requested this. (We did not.)After we left, the owner herself called and seemed much more apologetic. Apparently, the first day she had called a plumber, but the manager had them sent away(!!!) after we called back.Owner offered a small discount (especially considering the gravity of the issue) which I accepted mostly because I DO want to return. But I still feel obligated to share this and emphasize that if you have issues, please stand your ground about it. Dont be like me. I regret not being pushier, I might have been able to enjoy the end of the stay if I was.

39872 Los Alamos Rd STE A4, Murrieta, CA 92562, United States
We were looking for a new Asian restaurant to try in Murrieta CA and happen to find the Golden Triangle.Although there are many Asian restaurants in the area, Thai & Vietnamese food are just some of our favorite cuisines to eat! Like I said the food is phenomenal even the Thai I ced tea was Bomb!! They also offer the Boba in your drink here! The prices are on point and the service was perfect! Everyone had a smile on their face and were all very kind. The restaurant was very clean! Full Of Life Flatbread
225 Bell St, Los Alamos, CA 93440, United States
If I could give zero stars on this visit I would. I want to say before I rant this was one of my family's favorite spots to come pre Covid. Their flatbread, desserts, beverages and staff were amazing. Not really sure what has happened over the months. We were very excited to come back here knowing they had outdoor dining. We checked in at 430. Staff was very cold. I ordered drinks for myself, son and wife. My wife's mask wasn't quite over her nose when we ordered drinks. Staff member told my wife to fully cover her nose because people close to him have died from Covid, which immediately made me and my family feel uncomfortable and wonder has he been exposed and are we going to get Covid now???? After waiting an 1 1/2 hrs I decided to ask the waitress if our table is getting close to being ready. Her eyes got big as they made a mistake and said it would be another 30 minutes. Geez that brought our wait to 2 hours which is ridiculous, at this point my family is starving and the only option was to wait an additional 30 minutes to be seated. Finally after waiting two long hours we got a table!!!! Staff came out pretty quickly to take out order. Once again not very friendly which is unusual. Staff notified us there are no large pizzas available only small. Whatever not a big deal. We ordered smalls. When our pizzas were served the amount of toppings were way weaker than the normal. Maybe an ounce of protein on our pizzas. They didn't give us any flatware or napkins with our food until we asked and then they brought us 1 napkins. So kind. We are extremely disappointed in the overall service experience. Being a local we love supporting locally owned businesses. I guess at this point they only care about the tourist. I will make sure that my family and friends will not be visiting this establishment in the near future unless there is significant changes...... Extremely bummed about this experience.

RJs Asian Fusion
3162 Danville Blvd C, Alamo, CA 94507, United States
OK IN A PINCH My go-to dish in Japanese restaurants is shrimp tempura. Before getting to it, let me just say I also always order edamame. Before getting to it, let me just say I always order fried, not steamed, pot stickers. OK, here goes: edamame, good; pot stickers, good, but sauce way too potent; and shrimp tempura, blah . . . .something about using oil to fry in way too many times masks the flavor of the last food to come out of the fryer.

Norman at the Skyview Los Alamos
9150 US-101, Los Alamos, CA 93440, United States
Had a fantastic dinner experience at Norman. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Skyview property and didn’t want to venture out again after a long day of wine tasting so we decided to try the restaurant attached to our hotel and it was such a great decision.Starting off with the yellowfin crisps, the freshness of all the ingredients were perfect. You can really taste all the different flavors from the fish to the Japanese slaw to the soy glaze. Everything sat on crispy, airy, fried won tons. Great appetizer to start the meal off with.Kept it simple and ordered the Bates Burger and that exceeded my expectations as well. The American wagyu beef was so tender and juicy. The caramelized onions were done perfectly, and the creamy garlic aioli was the perfect extra layer to this phenomenal burger. For dessert we ordered the cookie skillet which was on special that night. Very warm cookie with firm edges and very soft and melty inside with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was the perfect way to finish off our meal. Will absolutely come back to eat here again in the future. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
