The food is TERRIBLE!1 piece of shrimp chopped up in some rice isnt fried rice alsoWho burns shrimp fried rice and serves it to paying customers?Ill tell you who Linko Sushi. This is the worst Japanese Restaurant I have ever been to.The lemonade was watery, and unsweetened it was more like water with lemon which is fine but usually free.My family is new to the area and we adore Japanese food and were excited to try this place but ended up throwing it away.

This is a real mom and pop place, basically good service and food. Note price wise pretty much similar to the other Japanese restaurants, I may visit again if the other restaurants are too busy or ???

Poke is great… the rice has a great flavor and their sauces are fantastic. I give it two stars because it seems that they increase the price every couple of months: $20 for a large bowl now. 70% of the bowl is rice (thankfully we are rice lovers) and the scoops seem to be shrinking! The girl working tonight on cleaning and closing was completely rude. Chairs were up at 7:10, we asked what time they close, the girl serving us told us at 8:00 after we asked. We were just going to take our food with us but the same girl asked us if we wanted to eat there, we said “can we?” She said yes just put the chairs down. So we were done eating at 7:45 and the girl cleaning stopped us from leaving (like actually called us) to tell us “we close at 8 and our boss doesn't let us stay one minute after because he doesn't want to pay us so if you see the chairs up you can't sit down”… I said, we asked and your coworker said yes, she replied “well, she was wrong!” I just said again, well, we asked!… I should have said “complain to your coworker or your boss, but don't go out of your way to stop a happy client who somehow might help keep the business running so you can have a job and that actually left 15 minutes before your deadline, wiped the table and threw the trash away!!”What is happening to good customer service??!! And no wonder I see more and more bad reviews… maybe the prices are going up because they make less and less money… at this rate they might just go out of business… the goal should be to keep customers happy so they keep coming… just saying! I don't think l will be going back… in the end it's not the only poke place!

HUGE shout out to Rick. The restaurant is spectacular, clean and inviting. I was just here for my first time after the change from Ninja Poki Yaki to Koi Sushi. All around an excellent experience. If youre looking for quality sushi, youve definitely found it. Staff is very friendly and courteous, they were attentive to me throughout the duration of my meal and made sure that I was being taken care of. The cuts were well portioned and executed flawlessly... The rice is just OUT OF THIS WORLD, I cant figure out whats going on there... but I LIKE IT A LOT. Im sure that you will know what Im talking about when you try it. Thank you all for providing such a wonderful experience, Im really looking forward to coming back with the family and trying more.FYI:I made an attempt to photograph both of my plates but I absolutely Inhaled my peppered salmon nigiri. It looked gorgeous. I was able to snap a photo of my delicious citrus salmon roll after having eaten some though..
Sudsys Coin Wash

Nice laundromat with multiple sized machines. Not terrible prices. I recommend bringing plenty of quarters, although they do have a change machine. Snack and drink vending machine if you get peckish. Good music playing. Interesting laundry related antiques on the walls. Polite customers. Restaurants in shopping center, Japanese sushi salad place, Italian, tacos inside the gas station convenience store. Not hugely busy on Sunday when I went. Not a lot nearby for keeping children busy, so bring your own entertainment, WiFi nearby.Overall, pretty darn good laundry experience, even though the bigger machines are more expensive and the lint traps could do with a cleaning as they didnt dry terribly well on denser materials, but more effective at drying than most Ive been to. Some of the machines give you options for a second wash for heavily soiled clothing (in case your kid is as messy of an eater as mine) and a second rinse cycle for just a bit more.I definitely recommend going here. They also have a water machine in case you need to fill your big water bottles while youre there.
Apple Valley Towne Center

This shopping center has a wide variety of stores to choose from. The Stater Brothers and Lowes are the anchors, but the little shops give it variety. The Stater Brothers use to have a great selection of IPA beers, but since the remodeling not so much. The UPS store is convenient for Amazon returns and there are several eateries too. As an fyi - The A1 smoke shop takes cash or ATM debit cards only. Probably why they arent very busy cause their prices are ok. There is a Wells Fargo bank on the other side of Lowes if you need cash/ATM machine. The Walgreens also has an ATM. Overall this is a convenient little shopping center. I gotta mention the Parking lot cause a lot of folks have. It is very poorly designed and depending what way you need to go it is not easy to get in and out of. They definitely needed a better Traffic Engineer to design the parking lot, but that seems to be the case for ALL of Apple Valley and Victorville. Just Horrible timing on ALL the traffic lights. I believe that is why so many people run red lights out here. You should Never Ever jump a green light out here or you will eventually get T-Boned by someone running a red light.

Let me make one clarification. The food is amazing. What I feel is a major growth edge is related to customer service and online order processing.Last week, my wife ordered a meal for our family of six via their online service. I am not a native of the Apple Valley area so I traveled over 25+ minutes, one-way, to pick up my order. When I arrived, after spending a few moments clarifying with the representative that our order was via their online system, I was handed a bag - in hindsight, I should have checked the bag, but I was not provided with a receipt and I should have asked my wife the entire order content. In all, I thought everything was accounted for after I traveled back home.Once back home, my wife informed me that we were missing significant parts of our meal. My wife tried to utilize the online order system she placed her order with but it would not work. After several attempts, we were able to speak to a representative on the phone. After working very hard to make the representative understand that we were missing items, they gave us the option to return to the location (I remind you, this is a 25+ minute drive one-way).It is at this time, my wife drove to the location. Prior to her drive, the representative let her know that she would have the meal prepared prior to her arrival. Unfortunately, when my wife arrived, she had to wait and they STILL did not have all the food prepared. Actually, they informed my wife that the grill was closed and that our missing order items could not be made at this time.At this point, my wife asked if she could get a refund and the representative informed her that she would have to call some number to clear up the bill because they could not give a refund at this location (possibly corporate). The worker did notify my wife she could return another day to get the missing items at no charge.***Lessons Learned***It pains me to write this message, and yet I know it is important to share my recent experience. I can remember in the past when I frequented the establishment and was very satisfied with the service and meal.I am not sure if it is under new management or leadership. With all that is been going on, staffing could be a major concern. All I know that I am still $30+ dollars short on a meal.I would ask that Ninja Sushi consider the following:1. Find a new online ordering system. It is obvious it is difficult for you and your staff to track or interpret orders; therefore, affecting customer service.2. Buy your establishment an improved call system (i.e., phone).3. Training. If turnaround/ retention of workers is an issue, I wonder if you can take some time to see what your employees need.4. Leadership. Who is the leadership in this place? Are they on call to assist employees when though decisions have to be made?Just my thoughts. If you got this far in my review, I appreciate you. I am sure I will give the establishment a second chance in the future, but, in the meantime, I wanted to express my frustration in the poor quality of customer service received. Anyone who has followed my page knows that I usually like to promote positive reviews, but I do have to express other thoughts in order to help improve the experiences of others.
