Just terrible. I placed an order for curbside pickup. I arrived on time and used the appropriate button to let them know I was there. I could see them helping the people at the drive through and the counter. After about 5 minutes I called the number for the restaurant but no answer. So of course I went in. No one was at the counter, just one person working the window. Again after waiting about 2 to 3 minutes I loudly said hello, is anyone going to help us. When I finally got her attention she said she was the only one there and she would get to me. There was someone cooking and two people just talking in the back as well as someone at a customer table, maybe on break. The counter person finally asked my name after packing up a couple of other orders. She said mine wasnt ready yet even though it was now 15 minutes late. She finally gave me my order but it was missing a plate. So she rechecked and then was asking the cook for another chicken order. After another couple of minutes she said they were out of veggies. I was a bit sparky and said if it had been ready on time I would have gotten the veggies. She said it would be another 5 minutes. I said the two plates on the counter would get cold and she said it would still be hot. I asked (was not offered) about a substitution and got coleslaw. I asked for the manager name and number and she said she was the manager. I never once got an apology of any kind. When I got home I found that one other order also had no veggies. Service and attitude was horrible. Seems this is the new standard for fast food chains.
Kasai Teriyaki Bowl
15335 Hawthorne Blvd, Lawndale, CA 90260, United States
With so many teriyaki joints around, sometimes you dont know what you will encounter, yet Kasai Teriyaki Bowl on 15335 Hawthorne Blvd is an absolute winner. I had called ahead to see if we needed a reservations for 12 people for 2 days in advance. Wow, when we had arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservations on our reservation, everything was set aside for us when we had arrived. It was Friday evening, of course, packed, yet the service was very professional - timely and smooth. Boy, the food was awesome. I am from SoCal via Honolulu and Japan. I know when I taste a good Teriyaki! Many of us had Teriyaki Chicken Combination. Everyone gave perfect 10! The sauce was flavorful, not too sweet...light and delicious. Chicken was plentiful and the salad was fresh as you can get. I loved it so much, I had ordered 12 orders of take out for the same group (Bible Study Group) in 3 weeks; again, it was a grand slam! The owner of the place had called us 10 minutes prior to our promised arrival time and met us front of the restaurant parking lot.....everything neatly boxed and prepared fresh. Highest recommendations to yall if you want a great Teriyaki Bowl served professionally!

I ordered over the phone when I get there my order is almost ready, and when I hear the cook coughing so bad (nasty cough) and I look over and hes not covering his mouth NOR did he go wash his hands and to top it off the tray he was putting my pancakes in was open while he was coughing I did not take my food and when I requested my refund he got mad saying it was only a cold, TF . I told him he should know better I even asked if he had his food handlers certificate, because if he did he should know what happens when you are sick and work around food . ?Burgers are so good, Ive been coming here since a was a little kid ? good burgers and fair price ?
Padrinos Draft House & Grill

There is no sign to indicate that they are open. I walked and it stinks and you can see people smoking inside. People looked at me, pointed at me, and laughed, like I didnt belong. It is a Hispanic bar that only has Mexican beer and is not welcoming if you are not Hispanic.Super exclusive vibe. And Im black and Japanese. I was not welcome. They were happy when I said, Only beer? Thank you. And left. Seeing a crowd smile bigger when you leave than when you come in is a bad sign.
Saigon Market
15705 Hawthorne Blvd A, Lawndale, CA 90260, United States
Best ethnic market in the most conveniently located area. Easy in and out. Freshest produce, fish, meat, and goodies that you would usually have to drive hours for. I love this place. Tony, the manager was the original manager of this store takes pride in running it . It shows in the fresh offerings and reasonable price of the goods. He is honest and takes notice of all his customers. The place has become quite international. The owners are Peruvian but they are quite open, worldly, and down to earth in their offerings. I really love this place and come in to buy their fresh offerings at least once a week; sometimes more. It feels good to support a local market with good, decent folks; knowing that your money is well spent. Highly recommend it.

Very bad visit. First, they sat us down, took our drink orders, I asked for a water with lemon and never got the lemons even after I reminded the server. Then, we get a bowl of soup but we had no utensils. I asked for some from the server as she walked away, guess she didnt hear me. By the time someone walked by that I could flag down for utensils our soups were cold. My husband ordered his food last. By the time he ordered he had asked the server to put in the kids and my order. He got his plate first! The kids had a 1/2 chicken and fries to share and they had to wait to get it. How do we wait for chicken that they are constantly cooking? I asked for a lomo saltado. By the time I got my food everyone at the table was done. The server just kept telling me Its coming. Its coming everytime she walked past. My food was hot for a few minutes and turned cold rather quickly. It was more onion than anything else and the rice was COLD! My husband asked for a chicha and was brought a coke, had to send it back. We got the check, figured wed pay upfront so we go. The girl working in the front was too busy talking to a guy that went to pick food up for delivery and another server that she never acknowledged me. She only spoke to me to give me my total and never said anything else to me. This place is awful!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. We regret this decision and will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

Lunch buffet; mostly Asian style. ( wheel chair friendly)Protein: chicken, fish (several dishes of deveined shrimp and stir fried whole jumbo shrimp, mushrooms fish, calamari on salad bar, maked salmon, baked muscles), beef (broccoli only choice unfortunately)Sushi bar has about 8+ tasty different rolls to choose.Soups (4): 1 seaweed, egg based (2), 1 unknown to me.Salad bar: spinach, seaweed, lettuce, small tomatoes, boiled eggs, calamari, potato, coleslaw, artichokes, olives, and much more.Fillers: steamed rice, fried rice, white noodle, sweet potatoes, French fries, pizza.Dessert bar: 2 or 3 seasonal fruits variety of orange, melons, mango, etc. Pudding cream, chocolate, and banana, fried or raw banana, individual size cakes, and ice cream when the machine works.Everything is tasty and well prepared.Service is friendly and always around but overwhelmed when it gets really busy.Atmosphere is clean, comforting and something of the 90s or early 2000s. Could use a new face. Half is with booths, and the rest with chairs. Good for company luncheon and birthday party (you wont get help from the stuff though), It can fit big parties as tables could be adjusted.Overall a thumbs up and great value for the money spend. My favs are the sushi bar, cajon shrimp, mushroom chicken, and sweet and sour soup.I will include photos next time.
