Kabuki Japanese Restaurant
24045 Newhall Ranch Rd Suite A-2, Valencia, CA 91354, United States
We had Valentines dinner at Kabuki in Valencia and the experience was good but not great.I had a Kabuki Old Fashioned which on paper looked delicious, Whisky, Japanese black sugar...but in the glass it was no more special or distinctive than any other Old Fashioned Id had. It was a blend of Makers Mark Bourbon with a Japanese Whiskey. I like Makers Mark but at a high end Japanese restaurant that Im spending a lot of money on a cocktail for, go ahead and please use the nice Japanese Whiskey. Also the Japanese Black Sugar I was hoping would be a noticeable special ingredient and it was not. That having been said we really liked what we ordered to eat. Were vegetarians and there was also a little bit of a disappointment that some vegetarian items on their website menu didnt seem to be present on the in-store menu. Still, we did have choices and our server let us know about one item that wasnt on the menu, a Crispy Tofu roll which was a vegetarian take on a crab-cake roll. It was good.We also liked the Green Roll. Nicely presented and tasted good too.We also shared the Curry Rice Bowl...I was lucky enough to still have a memory of having curry in Japan and the taste of this definitely reminded me of that experience. Thats part of what one can hope from food...that itll transport you to another place in your memory. Eating good food luckily can be like traveling. That just about happened here with this curry dish.Well probably try other places before we come back, but wed comeback.
Temakitto
28126 Newhall Ranch Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
It is a small unassuming place located in a strip plaza. Walk in, order at the counter, and take a seat (if you can find an empty one). Lots of folks were getting takeout. The staff explained the menu and made some recommendations. We chose to share the refreshing homemade Ginger Lemonade, a Japanese Burrito, and a pizza. The pizza is not the normal pizza. Theirs is quite unique, and absolutely delicious!! It is called the Ahi Tuna Sushi Pizza. The fresh ingredients include ahi tuna, crab meat, baby scallops, salmon, and dynamite sauce. The mixture of these ingredients caused both our tummies to be very very happy!! It was a flavor explosion of happiness!!

Hungry Ninja
27674 Newhall Ranch Rd UNIT 50, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
The Hungry Ninja - A Nostalgic DisappointmentThe Hungry Ninja, a local favorite, has held a special place in my heart since 2011, when I was in high school. The half chicken and half beef rice combo plate was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece back then. It was known for its perfectly cooked meats, flavorful rice, and fresh vegetables. Fast-forward 13 years, and the anticipation of reliving those cherished memories of what I once considered my dream food was palpable. With great expectations, I revisited The Hungry Ninja. However, my excitement soon turned into a deep sense of disappointment. The food items that once were a testament to quality and flavor have undergone a noticeable decline, leaving me with a heavy heart. The chicken, once cooked with such intense heat that it achieved a perfect char, now lacks that fiery, satisfying texture. The beef, formerly tender and aromatic, no longer possesses the same enticing allure. The accompanying steamed rice and mixed vegetables, which used to complement the meats so perfectly, failed to impress as they once did.It pains me to say that the overall umami of the dish has diminished. The Hungry Ninja now stands as a shadow of its former self, a mere memory of the culinary delight it used to offer. This once-beloved combo plate did not meet my expectations, leaving me to reminisce about the vibrant flavors of the past. The disappointment was not just in the taste, but also in the loss of a cherished memory, which made the experience even more disheartening. While my visit was fueled by nostalgia, the reality did not live up to the cherished recollections. Thus, I rate The Hungry Ninja three stars, with a glimmer of hope that it may one day recapture the magic that once made it a standout dining experience.
AROMA RAMEN
27530 Newhall Ranch Rd UNIT 109, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
We came here last October (I know I'm sharing this very late but came across this pictures so I thought I would post them) after I spotted this place from a restaurant across the street. We walked in and found out it was their first day open. At the time it was called Love Ramen (which also caught my eye). I don't know if the same people are still running this place but those who were there at the time were very nice and I remember a chef coming to talk to us about the menu which I enjoyed. The service was very slow but we were patient as we knew they had only been open a few hours and were trying to figure out everything. Our ramen was delicious and I appreciated the friendliness of the staff despite the wait. Hopefully they are still there and if not, I wish the new business and staff the best!

I am only twelve but I have been coming here for all of my life this is my all time favorite restaurant. This is my family’s favorite “go to restaurant”. I can honestly tell any sushi lover that, that’s where they need to go. The sushi is always fresh and cut very nicely. I know all of the staff and they are all very friendly. My eight year old sister and I love this place along with all of my family. This has the best sushi ever and greatly surpasses all other sushi/Japanese restaurants. BEST SUSHI EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fish Tail Seafood Grill & Poke Fish Fry
28104 Newhall Ranch Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
We went to this place to try the Poke bowl after seeing it on Yelp. To our surprise, the Poke bowl cost $13.95 which I thought was ridiculous so I didnt end up ordering it. I ordered the 2 fish tacos with Mahi Mahi instead. The tacos were good but nothing special to write about. My wife and daughter ordered the Tuna salad and the Tuna bowl. They both liked it and said it was good. We also ordered the calamari and a couple of ice teas. When we got our bill, we were surprised it came out to almost $54. The ice teas that came in a bottle and cans, were $3.50 each. You can probably buy a 6-pack for that much.Overall, the restaurant was nice and the service was great. For the price of the food we paid, we could have went to Kabuki Japanese restaurant and had a great variety of sushi to satisfy our hunger.
Valley Marketplace Valencia
23975 Newhall Ranch Rd, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
Today I got the bad experience at valley marketplace. I checked my grocery bill as usual when I was coming out from the store . And I saw they charged one bell pepper of $5. So I thought it was by mistake of the cashier. I went back in 1 minute said I you charged it wrong. I asked what is the price this bell pepper she said $2. I said you charged me $5. She was not accepting and blaming us that you guys did something wrong. Then she called her manager and then she said guys went to car then came back and said bell pepper price is high we need to return. then cashier said I need to check whole grocery one by one. I said okay. I was shocked when I saw every grocery item weighing is less than the weigh she charged us. So I was surprised because we never checked the weight of any item. It was an coincident of the bell pepper price. How can they say that in one minute I took out some of the grocery. Think about that then why I came back only for the bell pepper not for other veggies. Badly disappointed. I returned my whole grocery immediately. For their better service they should check their weighing scale and they need to train their cashier how to weigh the items and talk to the customers.
