Service was slow and rude. We had to wait half an hour to 45 minutes to be seated. Their excuse? They had to clean the tables - in which were still messy when we sat down. No joke. the dishes are pricer than expected, and the whole restaurant is in desperate need of a DEEP clean. The tables are sticky and sometimes have left over food, the glasses of water we received had floaters, the floor was completely sticky. PLEASE dont get me started on the bathrooms.. Just think of a gasoline station in the middle of nowhere and you had to squat over the toilet and put down 3-4 seat liners to use it. And to add - there was pee.. Everywhere.. Maybe they should worry more about cleaning than sitting in the back being on their phones. The sushi we ordered quickly fell apart. The avocado in our California Rolls tasted off. My partner ordered a Dragon Roll and hers just looked like someone didnt want to make it and angrily threw it on the plate. The restaurant stunk. The aroma smelt of wet, old dog chow and overcooked eggs. I asked about the smell and the waitress we had told us it had been because they had a leak in the back theyd been working on for about a few days prior. A leak? In the back? I dont think it should have smelt THAT bad in the front.Yes, we DID leave a small tip for our waitress, who seemed to be having a bad day, but after all we went through, Im pretty sure we wont be going back any time soon.

I was really excited to try this new place. I ordered the house tea boba drink, tropical boba drink and the furikake fries. The fries are really good and so is the house tea boba. The reason for 3 stars is for my tropical boba drink. First they forgot the boba. It was no big deal but the second drink was so bitter and not like the first drink. And look at the picture at how much boba they put in...what a joke. The house tea boba had a good amount of boba so to have only 15 boba in my drink was a disappointment. Even with the drink almost all gone it still had more boba than in mine. Id have to really consider if I wanna come back to this place.

We decided to try a new spot and found this one on yelp. They dont have a current website up but they are open- I ordered while there for take out and the staff was very friendly. There were many people eating in which I took as a good sign... and it was. Everything we ordered on this Saturday tasted super fresh and high quality. I love when the niguri cuts actually do melt in your mouth! The special rolls were smaller than I was expecting (comparing to other sushi bars) yet were very flavorful and just as fresh as the nigiri. The restaurant looked very clean and was easy to find, lots of parking. I plan on ordering from them again.

Came here in a party of 3 for lunch. We really enjoyed the delicious food and complimentary chai. Service was a bit lacking but our whole experience was good.- Service was ok but I feel this was the one downfall of our meal. The waitress was not very warm, she didnt greet us or start the dining experience with a hello and welcome. She was also timid which made us feel a bit uncomfortable for her. They were very attentive to our table but shy and standoff-ish.- Food was amazing! We enjoyed a classic Buttered Chicken and Lamb Coconut Curry with garlic and butter naan and rice. Awesome food! I crave it even now while I write this.- Atmosphere was good. Spacious and clean. We were there at a quiet time but it seems well laid out for the busy hours.- Drinks werent comprehensive and I didnt notice too many options but that doesnt seem like a big deal for a place like this. What I REALLY enjoyed was the chai. Its a great touch to offer this complimentary service and Ive only seen it in a few Indian restaurants. Really appreciated it.- Prices were good and very reasonable. Portions seemed standard for what weve seen elsewhere and prices were good. Especially given the quality of food.Would definitely go again if craving Indian food. Give it a shot if youre around here!

Peets coffee attendance here and the coffee and atmosphere itself fantastic but something has to be said about outside of there people that drive in this town apparently think they own every single slot and every piece of the road here because they are dangerous and I probably wont come back here again because of that I dont think theres too much concern by these other local about other people who come here because they think they could just drive wherever and how they ever they want It was the most erratic frustrating and scary parking moments and I was already parked these people just flew there I had to move my vehicle otherwise it was going to be taken out by a truck and he didnt care a Tesla driver same thing forget it

Am disappointed in Embers in Pinole for the first time ever. They havent changed their hours of operation on Google to reflect their temporary hours. Google still says (Open at 6 am),.so I drove there, it was 6:15, they werent open. The sign on their window shows Temporary hours and it shows that on Saturday it suppose be open at 7 am?!? So, I returned to my car and waited until 7am, even after two employees arrived, they still werent open. I left and drove all the way to CAFE SOLEIL in El Sobrante, where I shouldve gone to in the first place. At least there, they always open on time.
