Gogini Korean BBQ Not AYCE
17620 Bellflower Blvd b108, Bellflower, CA 90706, United States
Im not going to lie, I was a bit nervous when my husband pulled up to the plaza where Gogini Korean BBQ is located. When he sent the yelp link to me, all I did was look at the food and tell him, yes. So I had no idea where we were going. But to my genuine surprise, I was impressed and glad we came in. Greeted by the Pop of this Mom and Pop running this gem, he quickly explained the options for us. I was very impressed with the food. Having a little one with us, its not easy to go to an on-the-grill type of KBBQ, so this was a great alternative. Order a plate and get two banchan (sides) with your order. a bowl gets you one.We had the bulgogi and the pork plate with japchae, kimchi and spicy cucumber - everything was so good and flavorful. We also got the kimchi fried rice to-go - which my husband ate ALL of in the middle of the night. I only had a taste of it while at the restaurant. it was actually spicier than I was anticipating it would be. Then, the Mom of this gem came by with a delicious treat that my little one can also enjoy. It was like a somi-somi (taiyaki) dessert. It was so yummy and not too sweet. We so appreciate the extra care and thought. The next day we wanted to try the tacos. Let me tell you, Get Them! Cant find the Kogi Truck? Dont need to look far for some delicious street tacos - Korean style! The green salsa that comes with it gives it an extra kick.Well definitely be ordering again and again.

Chris & Pitts BBQ Restaurant
9839 Artesia Blvd, Bellflower, CA 90706, United States
Ive been a big fan of C&P BBQ for years, yet tonight I was completely caught off guard. I purchased a full rack of babyback ribs - cost was $39.99 - came with one side (I opted for mashed potatoes w/gravy) - unpacked it from its foil wrapping and was GREATLY disappointed in both quantity and quality of the ribs. Enclosed were nine very thin ribs with little to no meat on them, several overcooked/charred....inedible. The mashed potatoes serving would be adequate for an adult male but certainly not enough for two to dine on. Ive eaten their ribs in the past and they were nothing like this. If this is the quality of their product offered there is no way I would recommend this establishment to anyone. I cant believe I handed over $39.99+tax for what I received. I attempted to eat two of the ribs - nothing on the bone to sate an appetite...the rest you all are looking at in the photo Ive attached. This meal is being returned to the restaurant tomorrow. Ill leave a review on how well that goes tomorrow!!***UPDATE***I returned to speak with the manager who was very courteous and concerned about my experience not being a positive one (as I stated in my original review I have been a long time customer and have always been satisfied and happy with their great meals) He offered another full replacement meal or a full refund of my purchase. Things worked out on a positive note and my faith is restored in them. Im not too shallow to realize that mistakes get made, humans have bad days, and we all need to give each other a break. Thank you to the management of Chris & Pitts on Artesia Blvd for your courteous and professional PR...? and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bom Bom Grill
15726 Woodruff Ave, Bellflower, CA 90706, United States
I saw this place has a high rating and decided to give it a try. I came with the family. Everything in the menu looked good. The one taking my order was super confusing to me. I didnt know if I should say maam or sir, but was helpful taking my order... My significant other went with the beef bom bom wrap, California tempura roll, my daughter with chicken udon noodles, I went with half chicken half beef fusion tacos, and got some bom bom balls for us to try out. Ok, so tacos were the least liked. Nothing exceptional stood out. Everything on the tacos was bland chicken was just ok, beef was just ok, teriyaki was hardly distinguishable, veggies were the most noted in the tacos, I wouldnt order them again. BomBom balls, which are fried rice balls with chicken or beef teriyaki inside, they were lacking flavor you could not taste anything but the fried rice and being that it was fried, the outside was hard af, felt like I was going to crack a tooth biting into fried hard rice, would not encourage to order them. Next, the chicken udon, nothing exceptional noodles, were tasteless, chicken was just there no seasoning, teriyaki was pale flavored, only thing you can barely taste were the veggies it had. I did get to try the bom bom wrap it was surprisingly good. You could actually taste some of the beef with some teriyaki, rice, and veggies. Best of all was the sushi good flavor. The spicy mayo gave it some type of flavor to make up for the weak teriyaki sauce they use. Overall, I wasnt impressed, 2 out of the 5 dishes were just ok. Good if Im being nice. I doubt Ill be back, maybe recommending just the sushi and the bom bom wrap... maybe.

Panvimarn Thai Cuisine

Love pad thai? Go out of your way to dine here. Authentic Thai Cuisine blended with some fun Korean and American-Thai twists in a nicely lit, unpretentious environment. I can sum it up by saying they have a wall of Buddhas, a crystal chandelier and an NFL game playing. The money bags appetizer is fantastic. The Pad See Ew flat rice noodles are spiced nicely with hint of thai basil. Golden, Ruby, red, coconut and golden curries await. The papaya salad is outstanding. Be ready for heat on the front of your mouth. Not your run-of-the-mill pad thai. You will notice upon the first bite the spices are authentic and not what you would get at a basic Thai-American restaurant. A favorite.

Pho Mely
14351 Clark Ave, Bellflower, CA 90706, United States
As a government official for the City of Downey I will never eat here again. Ill talk about food, service, and atmosphere. The soup base is good. The service is poor. They only greet you to have a seat, take your order, and when they deliver your food. Other then that they dont check to see if you need more napkins or if there is anything else you would like to order. I was sat down today the hostess placed one napkin on the table and then removed it. I figured they were going to provide a napkins when the food came out no big deal. When the food got placed on the table there was no Napkins. So I asked for napkins. They only provided one at least they could have given me two. Its soup what do you expect. To top it off I requested no onions in my soup well guess what I recieved onions. Instead of the guy taking my soup I just told him bring me a plate and I will take them off myself since Im allergic. Its not like I cant take them off myself. So he brought me the plate. Then I ask for limes because they only gave me two slices. I was ready to pay and they tell you your total and you pay. Little did I know they charge $0.50, I think its extremely petty they charge for condiments that would come with the pho soup. I hasnt didnt have much time to dispute the charge and question why because my lunch was over. I am letting it known here. Have them review your order before you pay. Never would I ever thought I would be charged for limes. If that was the case I should have told them to give me a discount for getting my order wrong. As far as atmosphere theres nothing special its a space with tables and chairs with some background music.

Lees Sandwiches
13540 Lakewood Blvd, Bellflower, CA 90706, United States
The iced coffee is like no other Ive had before. Its rich and creamy and ends on a familiar and not unpleasant bitter note.If you want to try the Asian sandwich side of the menu, but dont know where to start the #4 grilled chicken is a great option. Chicken has a slight teriyaki flavor going on thats balanced by the crunchy pickled veggies, jalapeño, onions, and cilantro. Yum all around. And I finally tried the macaroons! There was no label so a blind choice turned out to be vanilla. So light and the filling very creamy. All in all worth a trip for a light and energizing lunch.
