A Korean restaurant across Sams club in La Habra. Side dishes are great and you can ask for refills if you need more. Bossam has been popular menu. We had dumpling soup and cold noodle.

October 23, 2022 Saturday evening 6:30 reservationUsually, when you make a reservation, the table is set up, but at this restaurant, there was nothing done.Since the men were drinking, they ordered a meat combo, and the womens table ordered Ugeojisujebijeongol and steamed monkfish. There were 6 men and 5 women, so it wasnt a small number of people.Men are supposed to eat meat while drinking soju, but they only brought me soju and the meat didnt show up even though it had been over 30 minutes. I called several times and they said it would come out, but it came out 30 minutes later. After more than 50 minutes, the steamed monkfish came out, but it was disappointing after disappointment.A large amount of monkfish jjim is usually served on a large plate, but since there were no bean sprouts, it was left out. The mideodeok was too salty and tough to chew, and the seasoning of the monkfish jjim was so salty that I had to call a worker to talk to me.The monkfish stew was very salty and I asked how on earth they only gave me bean sprouts, so they took it and made it with more bean sprouts, but the saltiness was the same. What was supposed to be a pleasant meal with just friends was completely ruined. So, an idea came up to eat stir-fried rice with monkfish bean sprouts, so I asked the worker to give me some rice. However, there is no rice in the restaurant and they will give you scorched rice. It was 7:30 at this timeDoes it make sense that Korean restaurants don’t serve rice during weekend business? Its early evening at 7:30...So I called the owner and talked to him, and he said he would give me Hetbahn. Its not like I went to a Korean restaurant and paid a lot of money to eat Hetbahn. Then he brought a bowl of rice. However, the rice was soggy and I immediately brought 3 more bowls, but that rice was also rice cake. They said they would give me scorched rice because I didnt have any rice, but I dont know if rice was brought from anywhere, but I received 4 bowls of rice, but I wasnt in a good mood.Since none of us could eat well, we ate fried rice mixed with rice and bean sprouts and paid the bill. However, 2 out of 4 bowls of rice were listed on the bill.I guess they were planning to get paid for the rice that comes with Ugeoji Suje Bijeongol and Monkfish Jjim.So I questioned it and they said it was written incorrectly, but it was posted on purpose. When we paid the bill and didnt give any tip, the woman working called us on our way out.I said I didnt tip..So we said.To receive a tip, the service must be good, but since our table received no service, they said they couldnt give it.The problem with this restaurant is not only that the workers are unfriendly, but the owners attitude is also a big problem.Working in the service industry, you need to be able to admit your mistakes and apologize, but you cant. Its shocking that they said something we didnt say and gave the customer a hetbahn meal. Its my first time going to this place, but its my first time seeing such unfriendly and bad service. These days, when the perception of Korea is improving through K-pop and K-dramas, I wonder if we shouldn’t do business this way. Dont customers think theyre doing something wrong if they dont go to a restaurant like this? Are they unfriendly to Koreans and only friendly to foreigners? Its so unpleasant to go out in a good mood and eat in a bad mood.
Miyako Japanese Restaurant
1210 W Imperial Hwy suite e, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
I really wanted to eat sushi, but I didnt want to submit, so I looked for a place where I could dine in on the patio and went there. I went to a place 30 minutes away from my house, and I didnt regret it at all. The tables were not in the parking lot, but to the side of the restaurant, so I had fun without worrying about smoke and dust. I was able to eat! I ordered special roe rice, sushi set, udon, and spicy tuna hand roll, and it was so delicious that I was full of it. The people working there were all very friendly, so I had a good time eating it. I think the sushi tastes better when you go to a restaurant rather than eating it.Went with a couple of friends yesterday, Miyako had a really nice outside seating sectioned off to a side of their restaurant! There were cute little wood panels between some tables which provided privacy, outside heaters and hand sanitizer on each table. Outside seating was set up so nicely! ❤️ The food was SOOOO amazing, we ordered some nigiri platter, udon, volcano roll and spicy tuna handrolls. Everything tasted amazing and the staff were so nice. Definitely coming back for some great sushi!
Furai Chicken La Habra
1460 S Harbor Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
A quiet Korean fried chicken restaurant with a few seats indoors and some patio seating, great place for takeout, but we dined in. There were only a few other patrons when we were eating there with most orders being carry out. I got the volcano sandwich which had crispy fried chicken with their volcano sauce (offering varying levels of spice) which had their coleslaw with spicy mayo, buttery buns, some pickles. The buns were very pleasant with a light toast on the outside and soft on the inside and that first bite into the full sandwich was a nice explosion of flavor with all that crunchy business going on in my mouth, but as I was eating that thing I got to thinking about Carls Jrs old slogan, if it doesnt get all over the place, it doesnt belong in your face. I had mayo and volcano sauce all over my hands and plate, which wasnt a bad thing as their bathroom was clean and easy to wash my hands after my meal. Will definitely come back with my family next time. Thank you furai chicken ahjumma!
Love Letter Pizza & Chicken
1180 S Idaho St ste d, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
SADLY NOT WORTH IT ....This was my first time at Love Letter Korean Restaurant in La Habra - Super Cute inside - It has a sports bar vibe with booths and tables super modern and on a smaller scale. Wanted to try a variety of things as it was the first time to see what I would enjoy - I never ate Korean Pizza before and I was intrigued, I grew up in Connecticut where the best pizza is made by far and famous new haven style pizza - I LOVE Pizza - We ordered a LARGE cheese pizza half supreme style - Some wings - Popcorn Chicken - Server was super friendly and attentive - took a bit for the food to come and it was dead when we got there - so not sure the deal but it was fine. The pizza came out on a tall tray it was super thin cheesy with the oils which is my fave and it smelled great, definitely a comfort food type experience was not TOP quality but, was good - The popcorn chicken was dry and I did not like the coating or the taste however they give you sauces you can disguise the flavor with. The wings were tasty as well as the cabbage corn salad they give you with the meal - it was shredded cabbage with corn nibbles on top with a homemade simple thousand island dressing mayo ketchup vinegar perhaps. Was tasty. Quality of the food I would compare to a fast food type experience this was not HIGH END quality and the price was ridiculous for what everything cost. Our bill came to $72 with tip - NO THANK YOU if we are going to spend that type of money on a lunch I will go to a 5 star high end restaurant - It was an experience so we just ate and learned - we will never go back if I am going to spend $20 on a pizza I will go to Fuoco Pizza in Fullerton or Joeys Pizza in Fountain Valley for a proper pizza experience and HALF the price ( FOR REAL) Sadly I will not be going back to LOVE LETTERS as much as I would love to pop in again for a cheese pizza on a lazy Sunday I am not willing to pay $20 for it - STICKER SHOCK!

Such a hidden gem! The meat quality is really good and the service was amazing! Young tak and Linda were very sweet! The restaurant is outdoors mainly and located in the golf clubhouse and the view would be amazing at sunset! Was not expecting to be blown away but everything was perfect and we had a delicious meal! Would come back again and again! They are also great for big groups!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mazera, a charming ramen restaurant that exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service that made me feel right at home.I decided to try the tonkotsu ramen, and I was blown away by the rich and flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and tender slices of pork belly. Every bite was a delicious explosion of umami flavors that left me craving for more.To top it all off, the portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food and service. I cant wait to go back to Mazera and try more of their delicious ramen dishes. If youre a ramen lover like me, this restaurant is a must-visit!
Hamachi Sushi Express
1211 E La Habra Blvd Ste D, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
Food is excellent. Atmosphere is very cute. Small place with only 4 tables and a sushi counter. Very crowded. Reservations are a must. Really enjoyed their sushi rolls. They make a killer “sushi cake”. Need to order ahead for this specialty. This is a mom and pop place and they go out of the way to make you feel comfortable and well taken care off. Noticed lots of take out orders too. Love the food and the people. We will be back for sure. By the way, the baked mussels were delicious too. My wife loved the mango salad. They have a special that included 3 special sushi rolls for a good price. That is what you see in the photos on a long wooden plate. May look small in the photo but they are truely a good size and filling. Also noticed that the owners knew some of the customers at the tables around us, looks like a lot of loyal dinners. Always a good sign.
