Paiks Noodle
28124 Newhall Ranch Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
My family is a regular at the Hong Kong restaurant in the Valley, and I was very happy to find out that there was a Hong Kong restaurant in Valencia while visiting my in-laws. However, as soon as I entered, I wasnt even greeted or told where to sit. The guests who came behind me were also seen hanging around for a while. After a while, all the dishes I brought were used for anecdotal purposes, so it was a bit like that. Still, I thought there wouldnt be any problem since its a restaurant with the same menu and the same recipe, but the sweet and sour pork that took over 20 minutes to come out was not seasoned at all and was very tasteless, and the sauce was like water and had no taste at all. I was so hungry that I ate it, but the stir-fried jjajang was truly amazing. The pork wasnt very good and I couldnt find any shrimp at all. The tasteless Jjajangmyeon was surrounded by stir-fried vegetables and commanded a high price, and the better one was the Jjambbong. Looking at the cooks, I couldnt see any movements using the wok at all. Of course, it doesnt taste bad at all.If you see the owner, please visit the Hong Kong restaurant in the Valley or Koreatown. There cant be this much difference. Even if you cut corners due to inflation, I dont think this is a good idea. Every time I go to my in-laws house, Im happy to have a place to stop by and eat, but Im completely disappointed. If you really want to be in business for a long time, you need to study more and work harder...

Wuso Korean BBQ

New ownership, don’t go here. Staff has become lazy! ???This Korean BBQ restaurant has significantly declined in quality. The restaurants standards have deteriorated, and the servers have become increasingly rude. After driving an hour for dinner, we arrived at 9:10pm, only to be told by Stephanie, the waitress, that we could not be seated because it was already last call, despite the sign indicating a 10:00pm closing time. As loyal weekly customers for over two years, we found this behavior and service unacceptable. Our visits typically last no more than 45 minutes, so this response was both disrespectful and disappointing. When we requested to speak with the manager, our request was denied. Regrettably, we will not be returning. We have fond memories of this place with friends and family, but it has clearly changed for the worse. We will be going to Charcoal Korean BBQ now.
Tokai Sushi
28267 Newhall Ranch Rd #0986, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
This is a Japanese sushi restaurant operated by Koreans. The service is good and the sushi is okay. I like to come here during lunch. There are some happy hour specials in the afternoon. Plenty of tables and plenty of parking outside. Good value on the lunch and dinner items. I would come again.
AROMA RAMEN
27530 Newhall Ranch Rd UNIT 109, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
We came here last October (I know I'm sharing this very late but came across this pictures so I thought I would post them) after I spotted this place from a restaurant across the street. We walked in and found out it was their first day open. At the time it was called Love Ramen (which also caught my eye). I don't know if the same people are still running this place but those who were there at the time were very nice and I remember a chef coming to talk to us about the menu which I enjoyed. The service was very slow but we were patient as we knew they had only been open a few hours and were trying to figure out everything. Our ramen was delicious and I appreciated the friendliness of the staff despite the wait. Hopefully they are still there and if not, I wish the new business and staff the best!

Hungry Ninja
27674 Newhall Ranch Rd UNIT 50, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
The Hungry Ninja - A Nostalgic DisappointmentThe Hungry Ninja, a local favorite, has held a special place in my heart since 2011, when I was in high school. The half chicken and half beef rice combo plate was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece back then. It was known for its perfectly cooked meats, flavorful rice, and fresh vegetables. Fast-forward 13 years, and the anticipation of reliving those cherished memories of what I once considered my dream food was palpable. With great expectations, I revisited The Hungry Ninja. However, my excitement soon turned into a deep sense of disappointment. The food items that once were a testament to quality and flavor have undergone a noticeable decline, leaving me with a heavy heart. The chicken, once cooked with such intense heat that it achieved a perfect char, now lacks that fiery, satisfying texture. The beef, formerly tender and aromatic, no longer possesses the same enticing allure. The accompanying steamed rice and mixed vegetables, which used to complement the meats so perfectly, failed to impress as they once did.It pains me to say that the overall umami of the dish has diminished. The Hungry Ninja now stands as a shadow of its former self, a mere memory of the culinary delight it used to offer. This once-beloved combo plate did not meet my expectations, leaving me to reminisce about the vibrant flavors of the past. The disappointment was not just in the taste, but also in the loss of a cherished memory, which made the experience even more disheartening. While my visit was fueled by nostalgia, the reality did not live up to the cherished recollections. Thus, I rate The Hungry Ninja three stars, with a glimmer of hope that it may one day recapture the magic that once made it a standout dining experience.
Aria Korean Street Food (Inside Aroma Ramen)
27530 Newhall Ranch Rd UNIT 109, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
Fried Chicken was pretty good. This is located inside of a ramen place. I would think they should have a good partnership with the ramen shop to insist on good customer service of serving their fried chicken. The staff was forgetful when serving the chicken and sides with the chicken. For the reman location:The staff were very very nice, however they were both forgetful and kept forgetting to bring us items we asked for. They would quickly bring it when we reminded them but it was strange. Also I wish the waitress had a tray to bring the big bowls of ramen out instead of holding it up against her shirt when walking to the table. Sorry, maybe that's not a huge deal but it was just kinda strange. Worth trying to give your own opinion but it wasn't a good experience for me.
