Hana Korean BBQ

A Korean gem in the middle of Paso Robles, I know its marketed as Japanese because of the teriyaki but the owners and cook are Korean. Its actually pretty amazing clean Korean food, couple this with the nearby hot springs and you are set. The bibimpap was wonderful, you will need to add a good amount of gochujang and maybe a touch of soy sauce, otherwise it was wonderful. Udon broth was more along the line of a mixed Korean gom tang with again a good amount of vegetables. The setting is typical for a mom and pop Korean restaurant, the bible and inspirational verses are a great plus. I see that its their ministry that comes first and the business is secondary. Great place to eat will be coming back when we drive up.

It's pretty great to have a quick easy vegan restaurant that isn't like “here is some raw broccoli and carrots in a tortilla”. Sometimes you just want something deep fried and delicious. Or something vegetarian and delicious without having to like do a whole restaurant thing or cook anything. I had a burger here a while back and it definitely satisfied my burger and fries craving. Tonight I picked up some black bean taquitos and cauliflower tacos and both were delicious. it was plenty for two people and relatively inexpensive. Someone else on here complained about the price but this is cheaper than McDonald's. (I think, I haven't been there in a while.). I'll definitely bring my vegetarian and non-vegetarian out of town friends here for a treat. Also, the staff have been really nice both times I was there.

I went to their restaurant since it is the sister company of Hampton Inn, the food was good but they basically threw my Korean bbq tacos in the box...I had to use a fork to eat my tacos...I did have a pic but I deleted it
Samurai Sushi & Roll
1131 Creston Rd #99, Paso Robles, CA 93446, United States
This place got a lot of good reviews, but it just didnt work for us. Theyve done a nice job of decorating, but the rock/hip hop/rap music made us feel like we were sitting in a bar doing shots instead of in a restaurant eating sushi. That might be a plus for some, but it was a mood killer for us. The rolls were generous, but they were so loosely rolled that every piece fell apart the instant we picked it up. The prices are comparable with other sushi restaurants in the area; no great deals here. The service was neither good nor bad; the food was neither good nor bad; so I am giving them three stars. If you like to eat sloppy sushi to the beat of rock/hip hop/rap music, then youll love this place. We didnt.
