Myung Ga Tofu & Korean BBQ
1760 S Tippecanoe Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92408, United States
They have vegan (hidden) options, whenever you order bibimbap or hot soup or anything mushroom or tofu just order it with no eggs..(this was my review 5years ago)It's 2023 and I still love coming here for Korean food, I've been coming here since my high school year!! My Korean friend recommended this restaurant, they did change ownership but still one of the best Korean restaurants I went to! The only bad experience I had actual was last week when I went with my friends, it was a misunderstanding cuz all of us order the soondubu (soft stew soup) but I order just the tofu no egg, my friend order her with meat, and she mixed hers with egg already without checking since we don't know it yet until I took a bite on mine it was meat, i told them that they got my order wrong and my friend is supposed to be the one getting this, I asked for a new one and the owner was kinda hesitant to give us a new soup, cuz I don't eat egg, the owner took her soup back and ask me to give my soup that I already tried to my friend.. we were not happy about that.. because it touched my mouth already, if anything they should've taken the soup back and also give her a brand new one.. the problem is solved but it takes 3 people to actually give my friend a brand new soup..but I've come here maybe once or twice every week.. so that's why I do still come back here and I only go from 5 stars to 4 stars.. if I have friends or family that want a great Korean food and there's this waiter that is super nice I feel like he sees us a lot so he's super cool and he knows what's up..

Horrible customer service from the time we got up to Drive-Thru. The girl taking order was rude from the start she had a bad attitude when inquired on the special they had. Got to window to get my order she dropped my receipt and wind took it which she didn't offer to print again. I asked for an extra bag due to the on given was ripping and asked for chop sticks she acted as if I was irritating her when there was no one in line. You need to train your employees to have better customer service. Our food this visit was just ok had been better. Mostly rice

This place is extremely tasty. No negatives. Even better than I thought it would be. Take out only, with a little waiting area. Came out quickly, hot and fresh. I ordered the Papa bowl #1 (I think that's what it's called) with Kalbi. That little short rib was seasoned down to the bone, and had a nice smoky grilled flavor. That marinade is the best I've ever had. Also comes with lots of fresh steamed veggie, and a very flavorful dumpling. If you eat a lot or like a lot of meat, you may want to order extra meat or try a different bowl. It was perfect for me and very inexpensive for the quality of ingredients. The customer service was outstanding. Very charming and kindhearted lady served me top quality green tea in a cup noodles cup. So cute and charming. Please support this business.

I used to eat here all the time when it was souplantation, when I read they had all you can eat rib eye, I figured I should try it out, first off this is not rib eye, this is a hot pot soup place where they bring you literally paper thin shavings of meat that have all of the fat trimmed off, which if you are like me and like fattier meat like I do definitely Dont come here, it was 40 dollars for dinner and that included a 10 percent tip, which I dont like a restaurant forcing me to tip up front, I would have actually left a larger tip because the workers were very helpful, however, for 40 bucks you would think they would refill your drinks its all self serve you cook your own meat in the soup broth and you have to refill your own drinks which wouldnt be a problem but they have tiny little kid cups I had to refill 10 times, pretty annoying, it was a hot day with hot soup, so I was really thirsty, I will say the beef beef broth for the soup was pretty good, you go to the salad bar and pick your own ingredients and spices for the broth, the gimmick here is they bring the thin slices of uncooked meat to your table on a robot waiter, which is kind of comical because they also have workers there who mostly just take away the plates, the robots dont seem nessecary and the workers are literally bumping into each other, I definitely wont be back, save your 40 bucks and go to a Brazilian all you can steakhouse much better experience and quality of meat selection, the Japanese hot pot is not worth 40 bucks
Silverwood Lake Campsites
San Bernardino, CA 92408, United States
RVer here. The main roadway, 138 off the 15, is a mostly one lane slightly inclined and winding in places. Take your time and at speeds you are comfortable with. The 25mpg curve sign isnt lying. There is a gas station half way up that had cheaper gas then the exit on the 15. There is also the only restaurant we saw, Silverwood Sushi and Grill, a Sushi-Japanese fusion-Korean BBQ place just up the road from the gas station. Looked popular, wish we had stopped. The good:The entrance to the park is staffed, at least the weekend I was there, until 9pm, which is nice for a change. Wood can be purchased either at the entrance, or there is a mobile store with an Ice Cream sounding music that goes around late afternoon with wood and any camping supply you can think of, and yes, they have ice cream. We dry camped as the hook up spots were all taken. The spot we picked (47) was pretty private, although not all of the dry spots looked like that. We did drive by the hook up spots and noticed there wasnt much room for those. The dry camping spots were much larger. There is a RV dump with fresh water for RV dry campers. There is a path (bike path?) that leads down to the marina not far away. It goes through a picnic area with tables, bbq grills, bathrooms, and a stream. The road was closed off to that area for some reason so it was mostly empty when we went. Kids had a great time playing in the stream and it felt fairly secluded. It might not when the road to parking in that area is open. The marina has a small store where you can buy water, snacks, beer, essentials. You can rent boats, Kayaks, and possibly fishing equipment? No real food to be had though. The bad:The weekend we went, and from other reviews on google that included most weekends, was a party weekend. Ranchera music was blasted all day long, every day. It switched to modern rock around 6pm, which was nice, but that went until 11pm. The next day, we got battling Ranchera from two different sides, both being blasted. I like music as much as the next guy, but I would be def if I listened to it that loud at my camp all day long. The staff do not patrol the camp or enforce any rules that I have noticed. I did see them clean camp spots after ppl left and clean the bathrooms. Other than that its a free for all. The cops did drive through the second night and I noticed that the music got quieter after for about 15 minutes and then blasted again, so someone must have called them? There is a nature is also a nature center that, but it was closed and looked empty while we were there. No free wifi by us, but our Tmobile LTE signal was surprisingly great!
First Original McDonalds Museum
1398 N E St, San Bernardino, CA 92405, United States
I love to learn the history behind landmarks, people, and artifacts. We decided to visit the First Original McDonalds Museum because we wanted to get to know more about the beginnings of this small behemoth restaurant chain.. If you are planning to go, just know the weather is very hot during summer. It can easily be over 104 fahrenheit or 40 Celsius. Due to the extreme weather condition, the outside of the museum looks deteriorated. Inside the place is small (too small to be honest). We were greatest by a very courteous host who can speak multiple languages, Japanese, Korean, English to name a few. As he introduced himself and how the museum operates I was a little disappointed to find out it is no longer owned by the McDonalds franchise. But the new ownership keeps it open to the public for visitors around the world which I think its cool. I was looking forward the place being an actual restaurant plus the museum but came to find out its only the museum and no MacDonalds restaurant nearby which I found ironic. Never the less, the experience was very memorable walking down memory lane looking at the artifacts used by year and obviously finding out what toys were popular in the year I was born which is for sure the best year ;p. Cameras are welcome to take pictures inside and outside the museum. For the nostalgia fans this is definitely a place to visit.

So glad to find this Korean market near me! There aren't many great markets near me in the IE so I was glad to stumble upon Hana market. I love cooking Korean cuisines so when I run out of ingredients I'll be coming here often. I do wish they had more fresh produce selection such as Korean radish, lotus root, etc. Do try their in house kimchi! It's delicious! I love the slivers of radish in it. Will be coming back a lot (:Update:They've since revamped their store and changed the name to Your Neighborhood Asian Market (: They really take into account customer suggestions. They carry more fresh items now! I was able to buy Korean radish, bean sprouts, and pre-prepared side dishes! They're so delicious! I had to hold back & stick to my budget lol I will be saving up for a larger shopping trip next time! (: oh, the only thing is that their kimchi doubled in price so, unfortunately, I do have to purchase that elsewhere now, but it was delicious from what I remember trying it in the past.

I was fooled when i walked into this establishment. the restaurant was clean, and beautiful.. better then eve seen locally, so i expected my food to be great. i ordered shrimp fried rice and i asked if they have options to make it spicy with hot sauce. they said yes. once i got to work and opened my plate, i noticed they mixed my rice with a handful of chili flakes and not a sauce. i overlooked that and started to prepare my plate the way i like it. first bite, rice was hard but you know i tried to give it a chance. i ate 2 bites and couldnt do it. its like they only cooked the rice for 5 mins. i called to notify them and when i tell you i got the absolute WORST customer service. the man kept over talking me and wouldnt even listen to me. he was ruse and kept cutting me off and had issues with accommodating me. i guess i can say i shouldve known this place was too good to be true. i would never go back to this place, i probably wouldve given it another chance if they werent so rude.
