Corner Grille Woodland Hills Korean Fusion

We order delivery from here at least once a week. This is our favorite new neighborhood restaurant. We order the Korean bbq ribs and the Korean bbq pork. Each dish comes with white rice and a side salad with a delicious creamy dressing. We love this place!

Its always heartbreaking to write about a place you used to love- it used to be one of those places you told all your friends and fam about...... took out-of-towners to, to show off how awesome your neighborhood is, how upscale and yum the local hot spots are.And it used to be my go to place to celebrate special occasions. No Mas.Id like to blame it on Covid - but the truth is, as far back as 2018, there were already signs that the Ownership had either sold, or sold-out. There used to be 3 owners... now only one of the original remains, Joseph - and he seems to no longer enjoy his guests nor his own place. Rude might be a word to describe how is now is even with his most loyal customers. This also describes several of the hosts who sound downright unhappy to be taking your to go orders - no warm smile when you arrive to pick up your food - in fact, they may just absent-mindedly POINT AT YOUR BAG as if actually GREETING a paying customer who keeps them employed were too much of a strain. This past year, delivery orders have been wrong. If you call to describe the problem, they might work with you on a resolution - or they might argue with you that you are wrong (!)And actually DINING IN on most nights is a downright depressing experience. The decor has not been freshened or updated since a few years after it opened (back in 1990- 34 years ago), and the waitstaff are mostly silent, solemn, and disinterested. They recently lost their Head Chef to a new venture downtown, and it also shows. And all those things you USED to get with your entrees - a bowl of rice, jasmine tea, ice water...? GONE. Unless you want to pay for your rice ($4.00!!! For 2 scoops of white rice that costs them maybe 30 cents).OH - and all the things you would EXPECT for a single-entree dinner that costs $40+ at a nice Chinese Restaurant (chopsticks, plum sauce, spice mustard, napkins, crunchy noodles...?)FORGET IT. UNLESS YOU OUTRIGHT ASK - theyll send you home with your entree WITH NO CHOPSTICKS. Cause being stingy I guess helps keep them afloat, maybe. Or they just dont care enough to offer and ask you if youd like any of the items youd hope for from a classy restaurant.Parking still requires valet (though the restaurant itself is not that busy, a very popular sushi restaurant a few doors down now takes up all the street parking and back parking lots). My last order was a few days ago. I called the owner by name, was friendly, asked how he was. I was cut off with What do you want to order? I ordered. Realized Id forgotten to request chopsticks, call back - he hollers in Chinese to the staff to add chopsticks and then - HANGS UP ON ME. No, No problem, well add those, or even a Good bye. Just CLICK.Seriously? This after 34 years of loyal patronage?Do yourself a favor - go to the sushi restaurant up the street, or call any one of the 3 dozen other Chinese restaurants in Sherman Oaks who might actually treat you like your patronage matters. The food is fine - but at exhoribitant prices and sub-par service - not worth it anymore.Thank you.

Was walking with my mom down Ventura Blvd. The last thing I thought I would see is a Korean restaurant. We were just talking about how it was a pain in the a** to go all the way to Koreatown in 24/7 Los Angeles traffic to get decent Korean food. Now this rating is based on the fact that there are no other Korean restaurants (that I know of) within 5 miles of me in the valley. Also, the amount of space and comfort in the restaurant just makes it all that better. Now for the big one. Have you ever been annoyed and frustrated after eating Korean bbq because you smell like a gigantic T-bone steak? Sick of having your dog jump on you when you get home from Kbbq because youre just one gigantic piece of 100% USDA choice meat? Well, this restaurant employs one of the best vent systems that Ive only seen in a couple places in my life. Now they can correct me if Im wrong, but Im pretty sure the air, instead of getting pulled up the hood vents were all used to from the top, pull the smoke/steam downwards through suction from fans, routed through large tubes and out to wherever it goes. Anyways, this place has decent korean food, location is awesome, space is awesome, serve a wide variety of liquor if you drink, and you dont smell like meat so youre dog wont drool all over you, and your significant other will complain (esp if shes vegetarian)

I was really excited to try this new place out. I know they just recently opened, and I think it will get better with time, but for now it was just, okay. It has the potential to be great, but its not quite there yet.Service - One thing that threw me off was that we ordered a variety of food, but everything came out separately. So every time a part of your order is ready they will call out your number, and you have to get up and go get your food. Id prefer it if they either had the entire order ready to go, or if they brought it out to you. Not a huge problem for most people, but with a bad back it gets tedious.Atmosphere - Definitely lacking. Just a mostly pastel yellow open dining area with a small little focal piece at the back.Food- Beef Kimbop was tasty. The Japchae noodles were excellent. My favorite was the Soy Garlic K-Fried Chicken- had a nice flavor and a really good crispiness. The Kimchi Fried Rice was okay, but not exciting. Least favorite thing was the Brisket Ramen- It seemed a bit bland and lacking in flavor. Sriracha and Gochujang were available upon request, but I would like to see more condiments available on the table or at a walk-up bar. Things like some chili flakes or powder, fish sauce, vinegars etc.

This place hands down sucks. Two plates of food 45$ and doesnt even come w/ a drink. Thats another 5$. The owner was hella grouchy when he took our order after we told him we were first timers and he didnt even care to help us. The only thing he cared about, was his pen after signing for the bill. The food was aweful. The worst hawaiian food ever. The chicken Katsu was over burnt and the beef is not Rib eye. The only good thing was the chili sauce. I was so disappointed reading about these guys having a 4.6 rating and I was born and raised in Hawaii to know about Hawaiian food. I ended up throwing my whole plate of food away after 2 bites. You should be ashamed for ripping off your customers and ruining the Hawaiian name. Mightest have just said its a straight Korean restaurant.

Really yummy Korean restaurant with the cleanest and nicest atmosphere. The food is fresh and very good priced. Beef Bulgogi with noodles and rice is always delicious! Also they have an amazing mango bingsoo that is so refreshing for under $13. Beef Bulgogi as about $16. The have kimbap rolls for $12 too. Always great to find this hidden gem.

Where do I begin? From start to finish, I couldn't have asked for a better experience and better event than you provided for my granddaughters Bat Mitzvah! So here are a few things I want to say:LA Kosher is FABULOUS, FANTASTIC, AMAZING AND INCREDIBLE!!! Is that a good start? From the beginning, Judy held my hand and made me feel comfortable. Her advice was invaluable. Her kindness was palpable and I'm so grateful that she helped make this such an enjoyable experience. She alleviated my anxiety and made me feel so incredibly secure in the decisions we made.Elon, you did the same. I didn't know you, but after our first meeting, I felt like I had known you forever. You gave great advice and you had great ideas. What is more, your kindness at the actual event was something everyone recognized. I can't tell you how many people came over to me and commented on how you were hands-on, always available and so approachable. One of my best friends told me about your bringing salad dressing to her table and how she's never seen that happen. Elon, you promised a lavish event and you delivered. Your smiling face made everyone feel comfortable. I can't believe how every time I offered a suggestion, you said, “Of course, we can do that!” Please use my name as a reference, because I will gladly praise you again and again and again. So here are some specifics:The Grazing Table: Oh my golly! That was a sight to behold. It had everything on it. It was constantly being replenished. Everyone commented on how great it was. I hope you took pictures of it to add to your repertoire, because everyone should have a chance to see how amazing it was.The Appetizers: I've never been to an event where there were so many passing hors d'oeuvres. Whenever I turned around, there was another server with a full tray. You promised we wouldn't run out of food and that there would be plenty. There was!!!! Thanks from my husband, too, especially, because it's not always chic to have franks in dough anymore. He LOVED yours. They were plentiful and tasty and he was in seventh heaven! The other appetizers were great too!The Meal: I have had so many calls telling me how great the food was. A friend went searching for the kind of steak you used. EVERYONE commented on how tasty and tender it was. It was by far the best steak I ever had and I'm not the only one who said that. The salmon was fabulous. That's another one everyone commented on. The sushi bar was overflowing and my daughter who's a sushi snob said it was incredible. I must admit I never got to the pasta bar, but my friends said they invaded the kids' space, so they could have pasta too. They loved it! I could go on and on and on, but I would be here forever.Desserts: My granddaughter was so happy. You had enough chocolate covered strawberries to feed an army. The chocolate mousse and everything else was fantastic. There were so many desserts and you never ran out of anything. Oh, I can't forget the pizookies. The adults loved them just as much as the kids. What a great idea!I know I'm forgetting things, but suffice it to say, “We are more than satisfied customers! We are fans forever!!!”
