Found this restaurant by accident while looking for a tasty and family friendly place to sit. Stumbled upon this Japanese + Korean restaurant in Watsonville and to my surprise it was packed!! Once seated and looking at the menu, we all wanted to order so many items eventually settling on a dish each. Will have to visit again soon.

Kongs Burger & Cafe
15 E Beach St #101, Watsonville, CA 95076, United States
We have found our breakfast burrito spot! Kongs makes a really filling burrito that wont disappoint. It is not very greasy and everything is fresh, and the portion you get is more than enough to fill you up. Kongs also has an orange sauce that they make homemade and it is AMAZING! My husband asked for a small cup on the side and it goes great on the breakfast burrito. If you go here, never leave without that sauce it goes great on anything.Pretty much everything on the menu is really good whether its breakfast or lunch you are looking for this place wont disappoint. I believe all the ingredients used are organic and he and his wife have a very healthy cooking style. The bibimbap is my absolute favorite item. Its very healthy and always fresh, much better than imuras dish. Definitely one of our favorite spots to eat in watsonville.

Dessert Lounge
1058 S Green Valley Rd, Watsonville, CA 95076, United States
Dessert Lounge has great potential. One of a kind business restaurant for Santa Cruz County. Hopefully they can iron out some of the logistics. The mochi donuts and Korean hot dogs are the bomb!!!

Hampton Inn & Suites Watsonville
75 Lee Rd, Watsonville, CA 95076, United States
I’m leaving this because I don’t think there are any reviews from Koreans! The room is clean and nice. However, its a bit narrow...haha (this is my personal opinion) But overall, its good. But the noise between floors is too loud. I dont wake up often once I fall asleep, so I was fine when I was sleeping, but it was so noisy while I was awake that it was annoying.Still, the lobby staff was friendly and asked for recommendations for nearby restaurants, so I wrote them down myself. I went to one of the three recommended restaurants and was very satisfied.Breakfast was really bad.. This is also Korean standards! I miss the breakfasts I had at European hotels. There was no salad, just bread, eggs, ham, and cereal. How on earth do you live by eating only these things?!!But we dont eat it every day, we just eat it briefly when we travel, right? Overall, I think it was a good hotel haha.* The recommended restaurant is Vietnamese restaurant Pho Kitchen & Boba Tea. I enjoyed the spices well and it was delicious. I wish it was there in Korea too..
